Scott and his team have done work on our home over the past 5 years. Each job has led to a massive transformation to the home. Hardwoods - we had red oak mixed with carpet, stone, and laminate. They pulled the carpet, stone, and laminate and weaved new red oak into our existing red oak and stained it dark. At the time, we had a 2yr old toddler and they did the job quickly and cleanly, leaving the home livable and safe after each day of work. They even took care of a dead raccoon for us (story for another day haha). Kitchen - they remodeled our entire kitchen in 2.5 weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas, allowing us to host our family in a brand new space. Scott and his team do design work and ordering, but we opted to get our design and cabinets through Lowes bc we wanted to take advantage of a sale. Scott and Tyler then took all the design mocks and materials and implemented them in our home and customized things along the way (backsplash, waterfall counter, moulding, lighting, etc.). They did it with so much care and attention to detail and took feedback every step of the way. Never was it challenging to talk through options or make corrections. He truly just wants to give you something you'll love. And again, they left our place clean and liveable every single night for those 2.5 weeks. He kept the oven range plugged in every day, never any loose material, not dusty at all, and completely safe for our small children. My wife also made a comment that she never once saw anyone's ass crack haha. So, take that as another plus in working with Scott and his team! We were referred to Moris Construction by our dear friends currently working on a huge project with them--and it was such a godsend. We contacted Scott Moris and he was at our place the next day going over our design plan with us. I want to note *that our house has several immunocompromised individuals living here and Scott and the entire crew wore the KN95 masks that we provided and protected us the entire project, including sealing off the downstairs from upstairs-and that alleviated so much stress. Scott quickly wrote up a plan and quote and it was priced several thousands of dollars cheaper and more thorough than the previous bid from another contractor. There were no open-ended "maybes" leaving room for a bunch of surprise costs, and then they started work almost immediately on our downstairs. Our job included installing a kitchenette with tile backsplash, cabinets, sink, countertops, dishwasher, refrigerator, can lighting, flooring and paint. We needed to update the bathroom and make it safe for my father with Parkinson's disease which meant replacing tub with a Safe walk-in shower, paint, flooring, new counter and vanity and lighting and extra grab bars. And we also painted the walls, ceilings and fireplace downstairs. They added a small deck made of Trex outside with storage doors to access extra storage under the deck, added safety railing on the stairs and can lighting and outlets to the outside deck area. In two months Scott and his team, Tyler and Dylan created a beautiful and safe apartment for my elderly parents to move into downstairs, and all without exceeding his bid. Every single person on the team masked when inside to protect the family and I, their work is perfect and clean and we will always recommend Moris Construction to our friends and family. My parents have now been here for a month and are loving this lovely and safe space that Scott and his team created. He stayed on the agreed timeline, he started when he said he would, and he completed the work when he said he would. I hired Scott and his team to refinish my kitchen floors which included a bathroom and 2 closets, plus a hallway, and dining room cutout with wood around the carpet. The attention to detail and the care that was given was amazing. I'm not just saying this, but Scott has a lot of patience as my family decided on color choice for the stain. Scott continued to stay polite as well as amenable in coming up with the exact color I wanted. The finished product is nothing but amazing. Gorgeous actually.
