Let me start off with the short and sweet version: pick Grand Residence for your project. Artem is incredible, his prices are best in the market, and you'll be 100% satisfied with the results. For the longer version: my wife and I recently had the bottom of our fiberglass bathtub insert crack open, making our shower completely unusable. We didn't have any plan to remodel the bathroom, no plans or experience, and we didn't even know what our options were; if we could fix the tub, replace it, etc. To get this resolved, we met with a ton of contractors (easily more than 15), and the experience was pretty awful. We had contractors change the price every time we talked to them, we had contractors quoting prices that were two or three times higher than anyone else, and we had no consistency in what contractors were telling us were possible with our remodel. The one standout example was Artem. He was incredibly honest, told us what issues we might run into with certain choices (wall-mounted toilet, moving the sinks, things like that), and the prices he quoted us never fluctuated a single cent. Additionally, he took a lot of extra time to explain all sorts of small details with us, helping us understand what we needed to figure out and decide on for the project: he helped us figure out that we wanted to completely remove our insert and get a walk-in shower installed! During the actual work, Artem was a delight to have as our contractor. He's extremely punctual, which is a trait that seems pretty uncommon from our previous experiences with contractors. But when Artem tells you he'll be there at 8AM, here's that at exactly 8AM on the dot. He has an incredible eye for detail, and he pays a lot of attention to it. Whether it's tile layouts, shower head placement, niche design - every individual intricate detail is carefully considered and planned for. And he communicates every one of those decisions with us, to make sure we get the end result we're looking for. He is great at problem solving. Every time a roadblock popped up during the project, Artem was quick to share with us what the issue was, and explain what our options were for solving it. For example, an unexpected pipe was running through the bottom of our fiberglass insert. For us, the best solution was raising the floor of the walk-in shower just enough so it sits above the pipe - but Artem walked us through all of our options and made sure we knew everything we needed to know to make that decision! He handles everything, making the experience very easy on us. When we had leftover tile at the end of the project, he returned it for us - so we didn't have to take the tile back to the store we got it from. When we ordered the wrong type of shower trim, he took it back to the store, returned it, and got the same style trim - but one that actually fit our tiles. Artem never makes you handle something yourself, he takes care of everything! All we had to do was go to the store, and pick out the stuff we wanted installed - we didn't even have to bring it home, he transported all the supplies back and forth when he needed them! And when he was dumping the demolished pieces of the old shower, he volunteered to take some other large pieces of furniture that we had in the garage; that we were planning to throw away in the future. He makes the experience effortless. He's adaptable, and goes above and beyond to make sure you're completely happy! When we decided on some beautiful large format tiles for our bathroom, Artem figured out everything he needed to do to get those tiles installed, even though they're much more difficult to work with. Artem never says "No, we can't do that" - he just explains to you what it will take to get it done! And he's reliable. We had an issue with the thermostatic valves we ordered - they weren't able to get all the way cold (only hot and warm showers). We ordered replacement parts, and Artem came back and replaced the valves and got everything working, weeks after the project had finished up. And he didn't charge a single extra cent to do it. And I probably don't even need to speak on the quality of the work - you can judge yourself from pictures. But I will anyway, because holy moly, the end result is absolutely gorgeous. It's beautiful, and it feels like a luxury spa every time I hop in the shower. I genuinely couldn't be happier with the results, and the price we got quoted at the start of the job didn't increase at all. We paid exactly what he quoted us, which was - by far - the most reasonable quote we got, for the most beautiful, relaxing, incredible walk-in shower I've ever seen. I contacted them for help with master bathroom shower issues due to heavier than expected house settling that caused cracks and separation at the base and ceiling points. I recently moved into a condo where the bathroom needed some updating. Primarily, I needed the walls tiled to replace the existing plastic paneling. I asked Yelp to request quotes from contractors and Grand Residence was one of several that responded. I expected to have a mixed bag of pricing, quality, and time involved but Grand Residence came out on top for all three. It's unfortunate that there are not more reviews here on Yelp to ease everyone's mind that this company is top notch. Pricing - in terms of pricing, I had an idea of how much the project would cost in material and labor. All contractors except for Grand Residence came in significantly higher than the estimate I had in mind. They said it's because there was such high demand. Grand Residence actually came in significantly lower than my estimate which I was worried might grow as the project progressed. It didn't. Artem stayed within budget and even found ways to save on costs like using tiles that were previously cut and organizing tiles to maximize usage. Quality - Admittedly, I don't know much about laying tiles so my view on quality is purely from an end user perspective. When I look at the final tilework, the tiles are flush with one another, square with the tub and walls, and the tile cuts are flat. Throughout the process, Artem called to ensure the layout made sense to me and took time to ensure I understood what my options were, what he recommended, and why. He also had pictures of the different options so I could make an informed decision. Time - I had a specific timeframe I wanted the project done. It budgeted time for the tile work and additional time for minor incidental delays. A few quotes said they would not work to the time frame and another said it simply could not be done. Artem came in to do a quote on site and thought the timeframe was do-able so long as no major incidents happened and I thought that was well in agreement with what I had budgeted. As I mentioned under Pricing, there is currently a high demand for contractors and Grand Residence was no different. I was lucky in that he had a customer cancellation and had a void in his schedule.
