The team reached via text to gather all the information they needed, even while the clinic was closed. Seems like they have other locations with staffs coordinating care for different clinics. I arrived at the clinic and was greeted by the dental hygienist, who started with X-rays. I was not expecting the cleaning to be done by the dentist and ended with dental hygienist doing the polishing and flossing with dental floss. The cleaning process was not as thorough as I expected compared to my previous dental visits. It seemed like they only used ultrasonic tools to rinse plaque off, followed by polishing, and then I was done. In the past, I had more detailed scaling, polishing, and flossing. At other clinics, they usually measure my gums and track them over time, which was not done at this clinic. In addition, I usually use ClinPro 5000 fluoride toothpaste at night to help prevent cavities. They did not have it at the clinic and said it needed to be prescribed, asking me to call back to obtain it. I feel that one of the front desk staff could have easily made a note and followed up with the patient. I understand the clinic was busy that day, but I feel the task delegation was not very efficient and the care was not as attentive.

So I am one of those people who doesn't like going to the dentist. As a result, I am a bit antsy about getting dentist check-ups. Unfortunately the period of time since my last dentist visit had grown into an embarrassing amount of time. Finally decided to make the plunge to return to the dentist chair since I was desperately in need of a cleaning. I didn't want to go back to the last dentist that I went to, so I decided to look for a new one. Dr. Jung's office was one of the closest dentist offices to my home which was the main reason I decided to visit along with the glowing Yelp reviews. The office is located in a business park on the stretch of 148th Ave heading south. Office hours are a bit limited as they are only open from Monday through Thursday during regular work hours. So you will need to go elsewhere if you are looking for a dentist office that stays open late or has weekend hours. The office does open at 8 am so it might work for someone coming in before they start work that day. As it was my first time, I had to do dental X-rays. The number they do is quite extensive and way more than I have done elsewhere. With so many X-rays taken, it gives them a better view of the health of your teeth and gums. I thought the dental equipment that they have here was the most modern that I have encountered of the dentist offices I have visited which I appreciate. The cleaning that I got here was thorough and my teeth feel much more healthy afterwards. Most of my visit was spent with one of the dental hygienists who took my X-rays and did the cleaning. Dr. Jung came in at the end to introduce himself and check my teeth. I found the staff to be friendly and not (too) judgmental about me not having had a teeth cleaning for a while. Though I was fearing visiting the dentist chair again, the staff here really made me comfortable and did a great job with the dental X-rays and cleaning. If you are looking for a dentist in Bellevue and are available during the weekday hours they are open, I would recommend this office.

Philip and all of his staff are kind, considerate, thorough and friendly. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for dental work and recommend his office without hesitation or reservation. I fully intend on seeing Philip until HE retires! I've had mostly cleanings done at his office, but Philip has taken care of a couple of cavities for me and my first crown. He's always been gentle and caring and I've been delighted with the results.

I paid for all my ortho working including my…read morefinal retainer, and after my ortho work I had extra space in my teeth after trying to get the excess space filled & had a hard time finding a dentist that would do it, I was told by 2-3 different people at this clinic that there was no rush on my final retainer and that whenever I was ready to get it they could do the final scan to formalize it since I was getting the extra space filled. After a year of not being able to find a dentist to do the work and reached back out and said I felt bad having them wait so long and wanted to just get my final retainer but they said it would be an additional $300 fee now on top of the all inclusive price I already paid that I was told covered the final retainer. They are totally scamming people out of money! It really sucks :((
