We walked in to smiling faces, and were immediately sat. Our server told us all about the fall items currently on special and answered all of our questions. We started with 2 pumpkin lattes, a bloody Mary, and a morning marg. This bloody mary mix was awesome, it was heavy on the dill which i was living for! We asked for the lattes to be half sweet because we don't like our coffees crazy sweet, and they were very good. We also started with some warm fall chit chats (donut holes) with some cinnamon sugar and glaze that made you feel so cozy and warm. The flavors in the chorizo chipotle hash were great. The caramelized onion added the perfect amount of sweetness to the smokey dish. We also got the meatlovers bowl which was yummy as well!
I love Morning Belle when I'm with a group because there are so many options that there is something for everyone! (I personally love all of their benedicts). I had a bloody mary and it wasn't my favorite of all time, but it was okay (very dill forward). This spot is also super cute, and very "instagrammable" Our server was kind, but a little busy right at brunch. Overall, it was a good experience, and I will definitely be back.
Best. Breakfast. Spot. We had the most amazing time here! David was our waiter and he started our day off with lots of smiles and laughs. The food was unreal and left us wanting more. We came here hungry and we all ordered two dishes. Yes, it was an absolute girl breakfast. I ordered the Carrot, Ginger, Turmeric and Apple sunrise boost to get a heathy start to the day before I devoured all the food I had just ordered and the drinks I will be having. I later tried that lavender lift, spiked and it was the most delicious cocktail I've ever had. The lavender wasn't overpowering and the lemonade was so refreshing. Now because we were having a tasting breakfast, we ordered all the dishes below: Lemon Blueberry Cannoli Pancakes Avocado toast & scrambled eggs Biscuits & Gravy Harvest Omelette Seasoned Potatoes Blueberry lemon cinnamon roll To say that everything was delicious would be an understatement. Everything was hot coming out of the kitchen and the flavors were amazing. This place gets packed quick, but let me tell you, the wait is totally worth it!
It was one of the first lovely days of spring and I decided to get breakfast at the Morning Belle, and to sit outside with my coffee, to soak up the sun. I had gone by a few times before and was curious about it. I requested an outside seat. Breakfast is my favorite thing to eat, at least when I take myself out. I don't know why. I don't eat breakfast at home. I think the warm, homey feelings it gives me to have someone slide a steaming cup of coffee and some biscuits and gravy in front of me makes me feel like I'm celebrating my birthday morning. I ordered biscuits and peppercorn gravy , bacon (both a la carte) and steel-cut oats. To make it extra special I added seasonal fresh fruit to the oats. I was served promptly with a smile, and It was unbelievably good! The biscuits were some of the best, flakiest biscuits I've had.

I recently dined in at Morning Belle for a Sunday breakfast. It is a much bigger location than their bridge street location which I had been to previously. They also have a huge parking lot here so no need to worry about finding parking or walking far. We were seated right away and ordered coffees and waters to start. I will say that their coffee is not good lol. I drink black coffee so maybe if I put creamer in it then it would be better. They do put the carafe on your table though which is pretty nice! I got the meat lovers bowl and a side of toast for my meal. I really liked this! Very tasty and my over easy eggs were cooked perfect. It didn't say on the menu that the bowl came with toast already so with the side of toast I ordered, I had 6 slices total. I wish the waitress would have said something but I just put some of it in my to go box anyways.
Food was fantastic and came out so fast! My server was nice, listened to preferences and was generally attentive. Being on the Beltine makes it a bit more accessible and quick to just drop in.
We reserved the table, I got a massage that the table it ready and they will not hold the table for any longer than 10 minutes. So I rushed to get here, just to learn that the table is not ready for the next 10 minutes. I asked the person what happened and she just said "its just not ready ". We also got here at 11:40, its 12:37 rn and we still didn't get the food. The picture proves there's no food on the table.
I came here with a group of 10+ people with a 10:30am reservation on a Saturday. It was fairly busy and we still had to wait about an extra 20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. However, the service and food quality made up for it. The Gardener's Eggs Benedict was satisfying and not too heavy; the focaccia bread was amazing. I really preferred that bread over a traditional English muffin. Only other disappointing factor was a side of bacon is $4.50 and you get 2 strips. Overall, I would come back since there were multiple other menu items I'd like to try.
This was an odd experience. We saw the restaurant when visiting the area and decided to check it out for breakfast as the building looked quite nice. When we entered the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised at how adorable the interior was! Maybe the appearance made my expectations too high. The server was nice but loud. Granted we were only two tables from the kitchen, but it was obvious when she was talking in the back. When my hubby complained about the coffee being weak, she quickly investigated the situation and (loudly) told the new person that he/she was supposed to use two bags of coffee to brew. That brewed quickly and stronger coffee arrived. I tend to order sides for my breakfast - I don't want eggs or any dairy so I tend to get bacon, potatoes and fruit. The fruit cup was nice - loved the variety. The bacon was bacon, so of course it was delicious. The potatoes were a bit odd. To me, it tasted like warm German potato salad. Hubby did not agree but there was some sort of spice on the potatoes that just gave me that impression/taste. It was not bad per se, but it was not our fav part of the meal.
Cute atmosphere. Great service! I was dining with a friend and we shared 2 very different meals. We love love loved the Salmon Avocado Toast! It was wonderful, we both thought it had amazing flavor and was delicious! The Superfood Berry Bowl was good but I was not a fan of the texture, it was very soupy. I love açaí bowls but this one was not one of my favs, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't great.
Always enjoy my brunch/breakfasts when I head to either Morning Belle location. Flavors, ingredients, portions are all great. It's always busy (another way to tell it's good food!) Decor is similar at either GR location, like springtime cafe. I will say, I didn't think the cold brew coffee (or iced coffee??...it's been a while since the meal & this review) isn't worth the price.
I went on a weekday and enjoyed the vibe. My omelet was tasty and cooked perfectly. My server was new but she did a good job. The decor is fresh and i liked the use of wood and plants. I ate alone and they didn't make me feel uncomfortable about it. I would return read more

While visiting friends in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and after a few hours of wandering through Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park (art, nature, and a lot of "wait, is that a sculpture or a person?" moments), we stopped at Morning Belle for lunch. The place is cute and colorful, the kind that feels like a hug on a sunny but still very cold Michigan day. Bright, inviting, and clearly a local favorite. Service was friendly, even though they seemed a bit shorthanded. You could tell they were hustling, doing their best to keep everything moving without losing their smiles. I ordered the goat cheese croissant, and honestly... no regrets. It was warm, gooey, perfectly cheesy, with just enough crunch to remind you it is still a croissant and not a life-changing event. (Okay, maybe a small life-changing event.) Paired it with a classic spicy Bloody Mary, because balance. The rest of the table went for waffles and a classic BLT, and there were zero complaints. Just quiet, happy eating, which is usually the best review. Overall, it's a solid spot for breakfast or brunch. Fresh, flavorful, and comforting without trying too hard. Service was lackluster but we knew that in advance from the reviews. Very slow for a breakfast place that should be able to turn over tables quickly. The food was pretty alright. Nothing to write home about but not bad either. Both Benedict's were good. It was surprising to me that they pan poach the eggs when it is a breakfast restaurant but they were fine. Unevenly cooked and neither of mine had a runny center. The potatoes were ok overall- I prefer more of a crisp. The cinnamon roll was delicious, barely warm though. It is more of a powdered sugar glaze rather than a cream cheese glaze. It is cute and farmy inside so would be fun to bring a group to for breakfast but I'd expect to be there quite a while. For 2, we were there about 2 hours. read more

Morning Belle has grown to a few different locations around town and I've always been happy with my experiences there. Nate and I had breakfast at the East Beltline location again recently. We were seated right away, but they do use the Yelp waitlist so you can add your name and track your place in line, which is so helpful as I think they get pretty busy during peak brunch times. The interior is cheery and bright, and luckily we were seated at a table that didn't have the uncomfortable outdoor patio-type chairs that I didn't like from last time. I ordered the fresh harvest omelet: sundried tomatoes, mushrooms, sautéed peppers, spinach, caramelized onions and smoked provolone cheese, topped with pesto hollandaise, served with multigrain toast and butter. Nate got the gardener's benedict: two poached cage-free eggs on toasted rosemary focaccia with goat cheese, sundried tomatoes, spinach, smashed avocado and pesto hollandaise, served with a cherry tomato spring mix salad. The menu offers lots of options from savory to sweet, with some unique items that make this spot a fun departure from your typical diner-style breakfast. They also have a lot of boozy brunch drinks, which we didn't try this time. Our food was presented nicely and the flavors were delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by the focaccia of the benedict; I was expecting it to be thicker and dense, but it was sort of thin and a bit crispy. I really liked it! The omelet was the perfect amount of cheesiness, with a good amount of veggies. I also enjoyed sharing the side salad that came with the benedict. For the price, the portions and quality were very good, in my opinion. We'll be back! read more

Came here last weekend with a friend for brunch and we had a lovely time. I ordered the bowl that had quinoa, sweet potatoes, veggies, avocado and scrambled eggs. It was very tasty and service quite efficient. My friend said she loved her eggs Benedict dish and I thought it looked good too. I would definitely come back and try more things from their menu. read more
Food was delicious. My poached eggs were a little under done. Main thing keeping this from 5 stars is the wait time for the food. Our server told us they were understaffed and apologized for the wait but it was like a solid 40min before we got any updates. read more
We were looking for a breakfast option away from the hotel zone and when we read the reviews on the Morning Belle it was hard to resist! A private parking lot and very unique menu made for a perfect combination. They are basically a breakfast and lunch restaurant and the atmosphere is open, bright and cherry. So was the waitress!! I got The hummingbird omelette and my friend got the Silver Dollar Benedict. We both loved our food and are excited to come back to try more options. Just look at my photos and you can see how delicious they both looked and they actually tasted delicious too. It was the perfect amount of food and great atmosphere. read more

This place is so cute and I love the vibe here. It's very bright, airy and warm. The greenery and floral decor with touches of shiplap & wood makes for a great place for brunch! The hostess & waiter were very friendly. We joined the waitlist on Yelp and when we arrived, we waited only a couple minutes before the sat us. This was on a Sunday around 10am. I had the uproot bowl with a side of their house potatoes. It was so delicious. The Sriracha glazed sweet potatoes were so good. The poached eggs were done so perfectly. The kale was crispy like chips. I was very impressed! Depending on your appetite, you might want to order a side. I would have been fine without the side of potatoes but it definitely did not go to waste! read more
What a disappointment. Showed up at 10:30 this morning. Wait for 6 people was 45 minutes. I get it. That's fine. 5 minutes into waiting I learned one of our people wasn't able to join. I went to the hostess and shared we were now 5. She said she would adjust. I had heard someone requesting a table of 5 who came in after us. When I noticed, 30 minutes later they had been seated I asked another host what was happening. He said that we were still down for six. Then he said "sorry but she's not usually a hostess." I asked to be seated as quickly as he could do that for us. All in, it took as 50 minutes to get seated. The waitress who was nice said that 10 people had called in sick. We thought it might be an exaggeration but maybe not. Then it took a another 45 minutes to be served. Not good. No apologies for that. I ordered the gluten free French toast. I've had great gluten free FT. This was not that. I ordered the vegan sausage links. They were okay but I paid 5.95 for these. Two pinky sized links. Way overpriced. The decor was nice. My companions liked their meals. Waitress was nice. Bussing people were nice. read more
Morning Belle has been here for a while and I've been intrigued but haven't visited. Today, we had the opportunity and it was great. It's nice and bright and wakes you up as you come in. The service was great and super quick to get our drinks and answer any questions. I had previewed the menu and knew what I wanted. I had the Farmhand Hash with corned beef, caramelized onions, cheese, potatoes, peppercorn gravy, and a medium fried egg. It was fantastic! The selection was wonderful, ambiance was cheery and bright, and the service was great. So win-win-win! read more

I have been to this MB location 3 times now and I know I will be back. Fair warning - they get BUSY. Join the waitlist!!! The dining room is bright and airy and even in the dead of winter it feels like spring, I love the decor, it truly brightens your day walking in. The have a fairly good sized floor and a nice sized bar for people to sit at, as well. One thing I love is that they make brunch cocktails so dang appealing.. and strong! Lots of fun cocktails if you are looking for a little something to enhance your brunch. I have only had two things when I come here; smoked salmon benedict (omg the rosemary focaccia bread... so good!) or the hummingbird frittata (roasted garlic cream cheese.. enough said.) - both are delicious and I would recommend them to anyone. My boys have had the french toast sticks and the donut waffle - huge hits! They have nice fresh fruit available, and some other delicious sides, as well. Their wheat toast is thick and a little sweet; recommend. They have a very well crafted menu with a great mix of savory, sweet, healthy, indulgent, etc. It is not your typical greasy spoon breakfast fare. While they are open through lunch, I have not ordered off the lunch menu but it looks delicious! Great addition to the East Beltline, especially for breakfast & brunch! read more

Super cute inside and our server was so welcoming, attentive, and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job which makes a guest's experience great. Sat at the bar area because it was 30 min for a table. Enjoyed the Salmon Avocado Toast which was on hearty toast that didn't get mushy with the avo mash on top. I love the smoked salmon, capers, and a runny egg read more
