I love this busy spot in Eugene! We make a point to have breakfast here whenever we're in town. The vegan version of their Chilaquiles is always a winner.Scrambled tofu, tortilla chips, olives & mild green chiles. Topped with herbed tofu sour cream & pico de gallo. Served with your choice of black beans, brown rice, and potatoes. It's super filling and delicious. The Happy Morning Sandwich is another standby. It's their version of a egg mcMuffin, but plant based. A fluffy biscuit with tofu sour cream & topped with a soysage patty, tofu patty, spinach & tomato slices. Served with potatoes and mushroom gravy. So good! Any of the breakfast selections can be shared, they are huge! Coffee was super good, and they have an array of milk substitutes (hemp being my personal favorite). Service is friendly and attention to detail was appreciated. Street Parking is metered, but plentiful. You pay at the counter, and on your way out check the pastry/dessert case for an extra treat to take home. Highly recommends read more

Me and my boyfriend get there and we get seated pretty quickly with our menus. But we wait there for at least 20 minutes waiting for somebody to take our order!!! After we had finally ordered our food we wait at least another 40 minutes for it to come out. And earlier I had ordered a chai tea ICED and they had completely forgotten about my drink!! Once she brought it out 40 minutes later it was HOT not ICED and it was disgusting. Only took a few sips then couldn't drink it any more. Thankfully she took it off my bill so I didn't have to waste my money on that piece of crap. Food shouldn't have took that long because it was so mid. I've had better food at crappier restaurants. I had to ask the waitress TWICE for some napkins. Took her like 10 minutes to bring NAPKINS out to us. I absolutely loved Morning Glory! From the design of the cafe--with beautiful murals and merchandise to purchase, to the amount of Gluten free (and vegan) options, there was so much i found appealing about this place. After much deliberation, since there were so many gluten free options to consider, I ordered the GF French toast (half serving because I get full very easily), and not only was it delicious but also the perfect serving size. If I ever find myself back in Eugene, I will definitely visit again! read more

I've stopped in a couple of times and it always seems to be bustling with dine-in and to-go patrons. Their menu is a good size with many delicious sounding options. During my last visit, I settled on the vegan scramble with banana bread. It was quite good! The vegetables were fresh and the flavor was bright, perfect for a weekend brunch. I got the banana bread because that's what I usually get there. I always wished it tasted a little more banana-y but otherwise it's a nice hefty slice. My friend liked her scramble as well. She didn't comment much on it but it did look appetizing. We both were very underwhelmed by our cafe drinks. I got coffee which tasted watery and bland. Can I just say AMAZING! If you love great vegan and vegetarian food this is your place. Do not let the line make you leave, as people are waiting because it is that good. The line moves quickly and the staff gets you seated as fast as possible. The food choices are perfect and there is something for everyone. Even those who love meat will fall in love with the choices they offer and will forget that there is no meat in the dishes. Staff is wonderful and makes sure that you have what you need. They have both outdoor and indoor seating so you are sure to find what pleases you. If I was from Eugene, I would become a regular and will for sure be back here next time in town. Honestly, I only came here because I was with a friend. Low key, felt tricked. I wanted a traditional breakfast and quickly learned this is a vegan place. I wasn't a fan of their offerings, but the eggs were good. I'm sure this is the bees knees of vegan places. read more

Everything here is good! I'm a vegetarian and it's so refreshing to go to a restaurant and not have to screen out all of the meat containing options. If you're vegetarian or vegan, you'll love it! This is a delicious vegetarian place, with a lot of vegan options. They have several lovely outdoor tables, and I came here for lunch and some studying. Parking is paid on the street, but there's free street parking for 2 hours a few blocks away, towards REI, if you're willing to walk. They have wifi and it was a nice place to study, although there is fairly regular noise from the train station. I had the happy morning sandwich which was delicious. The soysage patties were really good, although the biscuit itself was a little meh. I also tried the dill biscuit, which was really good, soft and fluffy and crispy on the outside. Absolutely unbelievable... prepare yourself for the ultimate struggle. It's been quite a while since I've encountered such an arrogant, entitled, rude person (let alone an employee in the restaurant industry). I have no clue if she's a good barista or waitress because we never made it that far. Let me break down this brief, unbelievable, situation as simply as possible. I walk in and ask for a menu. No problem. After glancing at it for a minute I noticed that you're supposed to ask about the "special burrito" of the day on the chalk board behind the register. It looked decent enough but didn't have a price listed. I'm standing about two feet across the counter from a different server filling up steamed milk or a hot drink of some sort. I simply asked her, "how much is the special burrito?". After initially trying to ignore me, she reluctantly informs me that she's "filling up a hot drink" and "you can wait until I'm finished". At first I thought she was joking, but it was quickly apparent she was completely serious. I've never been treated like such an inconvenient piece of trash. I put the menu down on the counter and immediately walked out. After thinking it over, I wish I would have said something to her, but it just wasn't worth it. Maybe they have good food? Who knows? I'll never be back and I'll certainly be telling all my friends and colleagues to avoid this place at all costs. I know for one thing is for certain: they have a bitter, entitled little hipster, posing as one of their servers (wearing a mask and a stupid little hat). I've eaten at Morning Glory a billion times for breakfast. It's one of my favorite breakfast spots. Their biscuits and gravy is always my go to. But it occured to me that I have not had anything of their lunch menu. So I thought I would get that a try. I ordered the toasty cheese & pesto for the hubbs and their triple lucky noodles for myself. In all honesty, we were a bit underwhelmed with our lunch choices. Even though the flavors of my dish were great, I was expecting that the rice noodles used would be similar to those found in a pad see ew. These noodles, instead, made the dish a but too mushy for my personal preference. I still gave them a high rating because their breakfast is superb. And their service is always warm and friendly. This experience didn't deter us. We will still be returning to Morning Glory over and over again. read more

What a terrific breakfast! The coffee was excellent, served in large enough cups that we weren't consistently empty between refills. As a visitor from the east coast, I'm still a bit unused to self serve water (and apparently coffee cream too), but we worked it out. I had a delicious veggie-filled omelet, a half plate (no exaggeration!) of herbed home fries, and the biggest biscuit I'd ever seen in my life. The biscuit was tasty, not too dry, just the right amount (and kind) of crumbly, served with enough butter to last across the 4 pieces I cut this giant into. Even better with jelly! One companion had top notch corn fritters. Looked more like corn pancakes than the fritters I expected (was thinking they'd look like clam cakes), but filled with visible kernels of fresh yellow corn. This was a starch-heavy meal, since it came with both some of those herbed glory potatoes and yummy yummy cinnamon raisin toast. The other friend had a cheesy cheesy omelet. She and I both took food home - there was a LOT on our plates. The space itself is small, but really pretty: old cut glass bowls have been turned upside down & used as shades for the pendant lights; local art on the walls. Great people watching too! read more

So I've been here before and had I believe French toast that was good, today I brought my father and son that's vegetarian . And ordered I was hoping for a simple egg burrito but they only had there loaded one with lots of various veggies, so I ordered instead a simple 2 egg over easy with potatoes and banana bread and my father ordered eggs and vegan sausage, both meals the eggs were very dry and over done, tasteless, the sausage was way overdone very dry and the potatoes were soggy ( wish they were overdone) and my sons breakfast he said was tasteless except for the side of gravy which tasted like straight turmeric, which I tried with a little potato and made my stomach very upset.
