The two working were both very kind and helpful. I know nothing, literally nothing, about Filipino food. So I asked if any of it had seafood in it, as I don't eat seafood. The answer was no, so I just picked one of the four options, and pointed to the picture. I always feel like an idiot when I have to point at something to order it, but the woman taking my order reached out the window to point at the same one so we were on the same page. She was very accommodating to me and I appreciate that. I'm still not entirely sure what I ate, but it was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Prices were pretty decent too. I am full and still get to take some home to my husband. Ambiance is a food truck pod on River Road that I'd never been to before. It is bigger than I expected, with several other nearby trucks that I want to try. Would I return? Yes! Definitely yes. A few other people were waiting ahead of me and got their food in good time. Service was friendly and quick. I chose yellow curry with chicken and it arrived in less than 10 minutes. Customers are given a buzzer to notify when the order is ready. There is ample seating available directly in front of the trucks or a few steps away in a covered area that is nicely done. I brought my order home to eat and it was a generous portion that made for two meals. Excellent yellow curry served very hot and delicious. Good amount of chicken ratio to veggies. You can specify how spicy you like your dish. I'll be sure to return to try other options.

Around dinnertime, I heated it up slowly in a pan... and nuked the rice after adding a little bit of water to it. The soup was very good (no heat at all, as I did not ask for it.. but the proprietor did ask if I needed chili oil. But I have Nam Prik Pao at home - Thai chili oil - I used a teaspoon of the Nam Prik Pao to add a nice level of spice to the soup.) Nice sweet sour flavor in the coconut milk both, decent amount of chicken, onion, etc. Rice was good also. I suspect he may have used a pre-made curry paste for the soup broth, as there was no galangal or lemongrass in the soup, although the flavor was there. Still good! I would definitely order it again. The pickled onions gave the perfect acidic touch to the sweetness of the salsa and the savoriness of the pork belly. I loved that each taco was hefty. Each taco had a generous amount of toppings and sauces without overshadowing the protein. It makes you feel healthy while also indulging. It's truly well balanced. Each topping had a purpose. Good tacos... lots of cheese, fair amount of meat, and fried up in some of the drippings. The consomme was ok... very lacking in salt (and since I am on a low sodium diet, I guess that is good? lol! ) Beans and rice were good also. I would order again.

Just recently I had their seafood stew ($8) made with a Dungeness crab broth. Along with crab, there was a good amount of shrimp, oyster, and probably other stuff. The flavors were absolutely rockin, along with a touch of heat that made every bite a lovely experience. It came with a nice big fluffy roll, perfect for making little bread scoops ,and went really nicely with a cold lager. If you like seafood, this is a must try.
