We were able to quickly set-up appointments that worked around our schedules and were at convenient locations. Our designer, Jamie, was a joy to work with! Her approach to our floral arrangements was inspired and excellently reflected the vision we had for our wedding. During our meetings, she always was on top of details and attentive to our needs. I am not sure if other comments have mentioned this, but Town and Country has a few locations throughout the Chicagoland area. We met at both the Schaumburg and Elgin locations throughout our wedding preparations. From the flower petals for our in memorial table to center pieces and bouquets, Jamie and Town and Country performed beyond our expectations. No detail was overlooked! Jamie was also fabulous about working with adjustments to our wedding day. We ended up needing fewer center pieces for the reception and Jamie gladly worked with us to make the adjustments. Another aspect of working with Jamie I valued was her talent for understanding the feel of our wedding and making suggestions. She helped us better capture our theme and save us money (always a plus!). Her knowledge of flowers that were in season for our wedding was a wonderful help! For example, she suggested snap dragons to help mirror our cherry blossom theme. They became one of my favorite parts of our center pieces! Town and Country has an amazing selection of rentals to meet any needs. We had rentals for the church arrangements and center pieces that were diverse! They moved arrangements from the church to be reused at the reception. They also willingly helped us to donate our arrangements to a hospice center following our wedding! A member of our extended family had worked with them for their son's wedding a few years back and tipped us off to using them. Vivek Flowers stocks an extensive variety of Indian floral goods as well as leaves, garlands, trinkets and other goods used in Indian weddings and other cultural and religious ceremonies. We mainly wanted jasmine flowers to start with since one of us had grown up with them, and we were able to use those flowers as well as others to decorate a Mehndi event. We also let people attending the wedding put the jasmine in their hair as is traditional in South India among women. The fact that Vivek Flowers both stocks every variety of jasmine, lotus and other flowers and even has the jasmine already strung together with threading was very convenient and saved us many hours during a busy wedding weekend. We would highly recommend them particularly to couples doing any kind of wedding looking for Indian flowers and other accessories.

After months of looking on Pinterest, my expectations for floral designs were pretty extravagant. Even starting from the first meeting with Heidi and her husband, I knew they were going to be perfect. They make a wonderful team. They are so organized and ask great questions to really understand your vision. They also give great advice and recommendations to get what you want within your price range. They are so flexible and accommodating. And they go above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect. They both came out on the wedding day to make sure everything was perfect (which was so nice!) Heidi even added some flowers onto the wedding cake, which we didn't even have in our contract. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. The flowers were so fresh and beautiful and everyone could not stop raving about them. They kept asking where I found the florist (it was just through yelp!) I really cannot say enough great things about them. You will regret not choosing them to be your wedding day or any special day florist. I found Artistic Floral Designs on WeddingChannel.com. They had good reviews, so I contacted Valerie with my budget to setup a consultation. She was very flexible, and met with me later in the evening to accommodate my work schedule. When I arrived Valerie was with another bride. She gave me several books with examples of her work (sorted by color!) to look thru while she finished. The photos were very nice, and it looked like she did great work. The meeting went well, and we discussed options for over an hour. She was very nice, presented well and she had some really good ideas. Unfortunately, she wasted my and her time. She has a $1,500 minimum per event, which was way over my budget amount. On top of that, my flower quote was only at $800 because I was making my own centerpieces, so she was going to charge an additional $700 to rent an arch to meet her minimum. I decided to go with a florist recommended by my venue. I liked Valerie, but was unhappy with how the price situation was handled. I told her my amount upfront, and I would have appreciated it if she had done the same.
