The needle is as fine as frog's hair and the stick is painless. You are out the door in five minutes. The Nightmare end starts with the wicked witch of the West cackling as she enters the room. The needle is as thick as a telephone pole and the witch misses your vein four times! It takes forever and you walk out with an arm covered in bruises. I've never had the perfect draw primarily because the seems to be a shortage of Victoria's Secret phlebotomists in Central Florida! I'm pleased to say my experience here was closer to awesome with the online experience acting as the major bump in the road. Online & App- So I downloaded the app and set up my account. I was asked if I wanted to "Save time" and enter my insurance information now so I did. Remember that phrase "Save time." I found the experience clunky and borderline amateurish. I switched to my desktop and tried from there and it was just as bad. Not intuitive at all and not what I expect from a Fortune 500 company! Checking In- These folks are in an extremely low-volume plaza, so parking was a snap. The waiting room is spotless with decent chairs and two check-in kiosks. Much to my annoyance, I was required to enter my insurance information again! So much for "Saving time!" I had arrived early for my appointment and was taken in early. My phlebotomist was about as far from a Victoria's Secret model as you could get but he was quick, efficient, and friendly. My stick was painless. Bim, bam, boom I was done and out the door. They have a little complimentary coffee bar and water area. However, by the time you may notice it, you will likely be called back. They are super fast and efficient. Including getting the results to the doctor on the same day. I do wish the website worked better for pulling up a copy. I can't ever seem to log in. They will also print a copy for you there. The restroom in the lobby area is huge. It is only 1 bathroom but its never so busy that its a problem. They take walkins and have special pricing for self pay patients on Wednesdays. I will not waste my time with LabCorp or Quest anymore with the level of prompt and courteous service that I get here at Vista.
