I'm so glad I found these guys. I've been taking my car here for the last few years. Yesterday I took my Honda CRV to the dealership for recall work. They tried to tell me that brake, trans and differential fluids all needed to be changed immediately and of course, they wanted to do it. When I picked up the car they admitted that the fluids "just needed changing". Took the car straight to Mitch at Morrie & Sons, who found everything in order, no fluids were low or needed changing at all. Took our vehicle here to see what was causing battery drain. They didn't seem to really want to tackle it and just put a disconnect on the negative battery terminal and simply said to flip the switch once we get out and that'll prevent the drain. Zero effort put into what was causing the drain in the first place. Also went with another car for a different issue and little effort was made to see what our issue was. Our family has used Morrie & Sons for many years. Every time we get straight answers and great repairs. They are timely and we have never been disappointed in what we have been charged. They took in my Jag, it wouldn't start after a rear end tap. We had no idea what to expect. We assumed it would take a week to figure out or get parts. We were called in 3 hours and told it was repaired. They charged a very small amount for supplies and only for 1 hour of time. I was thinking 1000$ to repair. They came back at 20% of that. They could have charged a ludicrous amount and we'd never have known. If their skill earns 4 stars, their honesty earns the 5th. We will NEVER go anywhere else for any repairs. read more

Took 09 silverado to Morrie since my daughter had gone there 2x previously and she was real happy with their honesty and detail. Truck has 132000 miles and we decided to not buy a new vehicle but invest in this one. Had brakes ,tune up and all new shock absorbers put on and the truck drives like new. I've lived in the area for 23 years and Mitch and his team of highly skilled mechanics never cease to amaze me. I was a mechanic in the military so my first thought is "I can do this"..!! Well, more than once Morrie's has bailed me out of a nightmare of my own creation. The older I get the more I realize how technology is quickly eclipsing what I thought I new. Mitch has always been understanding and never chastised me for taking the DIY approach. I love Mitch! He's always treated me like family since day one. Recently, I took my car there because of a failed emissions test. Mitch diagnosed my problem for free, and told me what I needed to do to pass. All it was was a faulty gas cap. The guys at a corporate shop were gonna charge me two hundred bucks just to diagnose it. Now, thanks to Mitch, I finally passed the test, and saved two hundred bucks! I can't say enough about how grateful I am that he saved me what could've been an expensive repair somewhere else. Finding a good mechanic that you can trust is difficult and keeping them is often harder. I've had a few over the years that have either retired or moved and the people that replace them aren't always the same. Morrie & Sons has been in business for 50 years and I've been taking all of my vehicles to Mitch since I moved into town twelve years ago. He's never done anything to my vehicles that they didn't need. If there's a problem he'll tell you what it is and what it will cost before he does the work.
