Parking: Parking is available in front of the building (limited) and down the street as well. They do not have a parking garage or designated parking area for this center. Exterior: The exterior is well maintained by the city of Stockbridge. There is a railroad track directly across the street from the center. Interior: Upon entering the two double doors the floor plan is pretty open. There are two sets of restrooms with approximately 3 stalls per restroom. There is a storage and a janitor closet. I have to say I have drove by this place at least a hundred times and wondered... "What goes on in there?" Will now I know! They are making dreams come true in there! On October 14th my daughter got married and had her reception at the Oasis Event Center. It was such a pleasure working with the team at Oasis and the pricing was fair and reasonable. They had no problem answering my many, many, many questions. They also took the time to explain what I was getting for my money. This was not a small get-together, we invited 300+ and Oasis was able to make it look easy! The place is huge. They have a gigantic stage, dance floor and bar area. They also provide tables and chairs, and they will decorate with the colors of your choice. In other words, they can do it all! For my daughter's reception, they did an outstanding job! If you are planning a big event, (reception, anniversary, major birthday number) ask for Joel! Side note... English is not their strong language, but I had no issues communicating what needed to be done for the occasion. Love this place and will not hesitate to use it again in the future!

My only 2 complaints with the venue was the food & the fact that the restrooms were totally outdated. The hors d'oeuvres served were, some type of garlic wings, fried potstickers I believe with cream cheese and spinach, and they were OK, but the star of the show for the hors d'oeuvres were definitely the meatballs. The dinner included, a very dry chicken breast that seemed to be seasoned in Italian seasoning, only. It was tough, there were also mashed potatoes that were very dry. No au jus, no gravy no nothing, they served a basic salad and some type of roll that was wet, and the star of the dinner were the green beans. They were very well seasoned and fresh and tender. The meal was subpar at best, and the sad thing about it is that you don't have an option of having food catered from any other venue except this location. Based on the food, if I was seeking a venue, I wouldn't rent this place because I'd be bound to get the food from them and it was not good.

The worst event experience I have EVER had. Kim Goggins is inexperienced, incompetent and…read moreall-around nasty. Do yourself a favor and book anywhere but here! We booked an "all inclusive" package for our wedding (rehearsal, wedding day and an overnight for the bride and groom). Let me start by saying that my husband and I both have hospitality degrees and have both worked events, and I have never seen such a mess as Dawson Creek the weekend of our wedding. My first red flag should have been when she demanded a $500 deposit for booking BEFORE I even saw the place, but I made it in time to see the venue before giving her the money, and at the time it appeared to be the place. There is a lovely magnolia tree in the front of the property, and this seemed like the perfect backdrop for our wedding, so we booked - BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER! Due to Kim's incompentantce and generally combative nature, we were forced to switched caterers mid-way through planning, this was headache and required us to go back to the venue for yet another meeting. We continued with our planning and had multiple conversations/meetings with Kim about expectations and needs, Kim assured us they cover everything, and it would be wonderful. However, when we showed up for our event the neighboring property had put up ORANGE construction fence and the property was littered with no trespassing and property line signs - all now the new backdrop for our wedding ceremony!!! WHEN WE BOOKED/VISTED THERE WERE NO SIGNS AND NO FENCING!!! KIM NEVER MENTIONED THIS ONE TIME DURRING ANY CONVERSATION THEREAFTER AND WAS WELL AWARE! SHE OFFERED NO SOLUTION EITHER! We had to come out of pocket the day of to try and mask it (went to Home Depot and bought items to attempt to hide it) - the fencing is in all pictures of the ceremony! Also, the property was littered with fire ant piles! Multiple guests were bitten, you can see them in pictures people took and they did nothing to resolve this! Additionally, the venue photographer showed up late, didn't stay the entire time and told us that the package does NOT come with any facial retouching - when our invoice clearly says Photographer before and during the event, and full edits! And, the week before the event she calls me (Bride) and demands an additional $1400 for tent deposits (our invoice paid in full at this point)! This is something that was never discussed and not in any contract or agreement, which I pointed out to her & she had no response for, other than threatening not to set up the tents we had already paid for if this additional (unmentioned) deposit was not paid in full! We reluctantly gave her another $900 (in addition to the $500 already given for damage deposits) and paid for a separate tent as well, so we could have our event, as it was now being threatened. We were told at the end if the night that there was no damage to anything (we have video and photos of everything in perfect condition and multiple people heard Kim say this) and Kim has refused to return out $1400 in refundable damage deposits! She is a true criminal! She even tried to charge us more post event!!!! DO NOT USE!!!! Additional items that were not right: My flowers were changed without even asking me - they tried to spray paint them and when that didn't work, they left them half spray painted and half the wrong color! Grooms' area was not set up on time (nothing was for the event) There was not enough food provided for all of our rehearsal guests when we gave them a full headcount! We still have no final photos (over a month after the event) The venue and it's affiliates have posted images of our event that we haven't gotten final of yet, and without our permission! This facility does not have appropriate bathroom facilities for large groups or handicap access! We paid for a popcorn machine - no popcorn machine was there - just a tray for STALE popcorn and not even out for guests to see! There is tons more, but you get the idea and really there were just too many issues to point out in one review - DO NOT BOOK HERE! You'd be better off having your wedding inside a dumpster (which they do not have available on site - WHICH IS ILLEGAL FOR A COMMERCIAL FACILTY) than Dawson's creek!!!!

Not only did we get rave reviews, our guests were stoked about the grazing table and crostinis. Everything was delicious. Thrilled with the results and all of the coordination. Shodan showed up and got everything dialed in right on time for our event. Our son and his longtime pal invited their friends and family who tried a wide range of tasty treats and there was plenty of time spent gathered around the goodness. Only advice I'd give is to make sure you order more crostinis. I saw plenty of quick word of mouth drive traffic right to them and everyone loved the unique flavors that the filet with smashed avocado, honey goat cheese topped with roasted tomatoes and pesto drizzle, and caprese delivered. The grazing table is something I'll daydream of often now that I've seen and gotten to taste so many amazing things from it. I can't recommend Ooey Gooey enough and can't wait to line up our next event with them.
