Muaha rating a church, how funny! I really just wanted to note a few things that I thought were worth typing. The Hollywood vibes were very real. It's a super hip church with hip people to add, but once the leadership hit the stage, any lack of authenticity that comes with the Hollywood stigma, faded. Their mission of Jesus and His love was tangible. The worship leader led with a selfless passion and the speaker was DOPE- solely because of the Holy Spirit that obviously spoke through his sermon. Was in town visiting and decided to attend a Sunday service at Hollywood. My friend and I were welcomed immediately and were inspired to love Jesus and others deeply. so glad we went. We even connected with church members afterwards and attended a Dodgers game together. read more

Please stop playing amplified music outside on Sunday nights. With all the parking lots and high rise apartment buildings, it's like you're inside a canyon. Super echoey. It's louder than my television (and I live two buildings away), and not very neighborly. Also, can you please tell people to be quiet when they leave. The crowd noise at 9pm is louder than the music. If you were a nightclub, the neighborhood would not stand for it, and just because you're a church, it doesn't make it o.k. Nightclubs have signs that say "please respect our neighbors and be quiet when leaving." Could you please get some of those signs? So please, be a little more Christ-like, and keep it down out of love and respect for your neighbors and new neighborhood. Amen. read more

If it is the Jesus Christ of the Bible you seek to find he is far from the lips of those "serving" at Mosaic. I was ridiculed and pushed to the side when I began to question some of Erwin's theological statements. In many personal emails from him, he claimed he was not the pastor, but rather he simply had the privilege of "talking often" at Mosaic. I asked if I could meet him after one of the gatherings. He insisted twice that since I was already involved with a ministry he didn't want to meet with me. Meeting after the service was for new attendees "only": Really? He did not have 5 minutes to spare? When I attempted to warn people how Erwin was leading people astray, on of the staff insisted to me that I was "a scripture warrior, but I believe in what Erwin is doing". Are they following Jesus or a man? I really, really dislike this "church". I went a few times with my roommates who were at first all about it, but then they started to see the completely un-genuine nature of this place as I saw instantly. While it's great to have a youthful community to celebrate God together, this place just seems so... fake. It's way too showy (I mean people painting in the aisles and on the altar while the minister spoke the distracted from what we should have been paying attention to, which is God's Word... the minister's son I believe leads the band that also seems like a bunch of self-promotion.) Everyone dresses not like they would for a Church gathering but like a place to meet other singles, or promote themselves as actors/singers/artists/etc - walking around that place like they were on the brink of getting discovered. For me, it basically summed up everything that is wrong with Hollywood. The biggest problem was that it felt like a concert and not like a sacred place. It did not feel holy or genuine whatsoever. Just like a big money-making carnival show full of selfish, self-serving people. I found a nice, simple church in Beverly Hills that has a great Youth Group and cool events like a cocktail hour, Mardis Gras, etc. But they keep them separate from the worship itself, as they should. read more

My husband and I were staying at L.A. Live for the weekend and decided to drop in at Mosaic. It meets at Club Nokia, and I thought, "Bar, edgy, good." The greeters were very enthusiastic and friendly, which was good, but as soon as worship kicked off, I was turned off. I hate worship that is directed, as in "Put your hands together" or "Come on...unfold your arms." Worship leaders that can enter into worship without worrying about what I'm doing...that's what I need. The sermon was okay, but when we got to the end and the lead-in to the offering, Erwin McManus started off by saying something like, "Some of you are visitors and..." at which point I expected him to say, "You don't have to give." Instead, he went on and on about how much it costs to put on church, so pony up, buddy. I couldn't wait to leave. read more

I attended a Sunday evening service for the first time.....some people were friendly and welcoming while others just huddled with their own little "crowd." i definitely did not fit in as people go with who they know already and no attempt to befriend me or try to start a conversation. Anyhow, the message was vague. Mostly spoke about their worship team and how many CD's they sold and how much more money the church needs and everyone was encouraged to drop some dollars. The Pastor who recently moved to Mexico with his family not very welcoming and did not engage with newbies in the congregation. Everyone is about clicks here and who they know not about new guests...definitely not returning. read more

I went to Mosaic yesterday for the 1st time & was quite disappointed... I have a registered service animal & after providing the credentials to 3 different individuals, I was told everything was ok for us to stay. Within minutes, my boyfriend, dog & I were escorted out of the building & not allowed to stay for the remaining service. The security person, Mike, was incredibly rude & unsympathetic to our situation. We were fine to leave if the policy was that we could not be there with our dog, however, the way we were treated was entirely unnecessary & unhelpful. I can't believe I am reviewing a church on Yelp but here it goes. I attended a Midweek service on Wednesday night, and I only attended once. So, take this review with a grain of salt. Also, I should note, that I am picky and grew up in a Southern Baptist church, attended a Southern Baptist university.... I am Southern Baptist'ed out. It was preferable for me at one time but isn't anymore. I can, however, still spot a Southern Baptist church from 15 miles away, and Mosaic is a Southern Baptist church. I think maybe it would be helpful if their website was a little more transparent. Anywho, if you want a Southern Baptist church, then it may be a good church home for you. The message was passionately delivered and I do not doubt the sincerity of the church leaders. They believe what they say they believe and they go hard in the paint. I respect that. You will be inspired here, and you will be emotionally moved by the message and the worship band. You will also probably find like-minded people and build meaningful relationships. The girl who sat beside me was sincere, warm, and welcoming. After the service, she introduced herself and chatted with me in the parking lot. All in all, it was a good experience and I don't regret attending. I won't be back, though. My spirituality thrives in a different community, and I really enjoy being at a church that thinks a little bit bigger. This church primarily ministers to one age group and one culture. So, Mosaic has something to offer, something that will inspire growth in a lot of young people. There is nothing wrong with this church. Just try it out. If you don't like it, try something else. This review is meant to be informative, rather than substantive. I select three stars only because a three star rating is ambivalent. read more

This update comes after attending Mosaic for well over a year, along with my Atheist boyfriend, who oddly enough, also enjoyed it. I still really like the pastor. He's completely awesome and genuine. I've spent time at his home and he was incredibly welcoming and friendly. No pretense at all. And the crew from the Saturday acting class is just good people. But... I've tried to do church events here and the experience was less than stellar. Case in point: July 4th at someone's very fancy beach house. Lots of Mosaic people, seemingly lots of creatives (like me) - actors, singers, etc. I thought I'd found my tribe. Not exactly. People were incredibly snotty. Or they were really fake friendly, doing that L.A. thing of looking around for someone more important to talk to while they pretend to listen to you. Not cool. I saw someone I knew and was excited to chat with her. Turns out she felt she needed to give me some hard-nosed rebuke for not going to church for a few weeks. She bashed me so seriously that my boyfriend just stood nearby in shock. When I didn't feel the need to explain why I'd not been in church, she gave some eye signals to a friend nearby to "rescue her." I stepped aside and told her to go be with her friend. But it gets better...we bought non-alcoholic, organic ginger beer because we don't drink soda. When we pulled it out of the bag, the hostess at the party became agitated and visibly uncomfortable. My boyfriend asked what was wrong. She said it looked like beers. We assured her it wasn't. But she kept saying to make sure the labels are prominent (or hurry and finish them!) so people wouldn't THINK they were beers. Seriously? We just stared at her like she was crazy. But we kept trying to strike up conversations with people only to be ignored or questioned about our theology. We left early. I was shocked that the main concern here was if we had alcohol versus how people were TREATING US. I attended another event for actors here. It was a Q&A with a casting director who attends Mosaic. I kid you not, people were so rude and self serving, it was CRAZY. I was talking to the young casting director after the event and people literally PUSHED ME ASIDE to talk to her. I don't expect this behavior in a CHURCH. I have to say both of these events had a large number of young members (20-25 crowd). When I've attended events with the few older adults (40+) no one acted like this. As for theology - there seems to be disparity between the more liberal teachings of Ewrin (which I like) and the other pastors who teach very old school Christianity. After serving under that for many years, I'm just not interested in that. Not criticizing those who want the King James, gays are going to hell, we're the only ones who are right, brand of Christianity, but it's not for me. Overall, I don't think Mosaic is my fit, which makes me sad. I enjoy the worship songs and Erwin's talks, but otherwise, it feels too much like the rest of L.A. - self absorbed. read more

I really wanted to like it here, but I just got back from MTN, which is a creative retreat Mosaic offers annually, and it didn't come close to any kind of Christian camp or retreat I have ever been on. I felt very put off by many things I saw and experienced. Such as the fact that we only prayed four times the entire time we were there. And when we did pray, it felt more obligatory than anything else. I was also wary about Erwin McManus. The lead pastor at Mosaic. When he was speaking, I didn't feel or hear the message of God. Don't get me wrong, he is a great speaker, but I felt that he truly wasn't spreading the word of God. So when I got home, I did a little research on the background of Mosaic, and I found a quote from Erwin that really solidified how I was feeling this weekend. "My goal is to destroy Christianity as a world religion and be a recatalyst for the movement of Jesus Christ. Some people are upset with me because it sounds like I'm anti-Christian. I think they might be right."--Erwin McManus, from The Barbarian Way. I personally think that's a scary thing for the lead pastor/founder of a supposedly Baptist church to say. So, if you identify as a Christian, or if you want to learn about and know God, be wary of the teachings at Mosaic. read more

I wish I can give zero star. My friend invited me to volunteer. She told me good things about the church. I thought I would recover from trauma from this weekend at mosaic yet I haven't, so I decided to go on Yelp. The staff that assigned us for work was friendly. Yet, other people weren't. Not only I found no feeling of belonging but I felt being slighted. I was wearing heeled sandals. Another volunteer big guy just stepped on my toes. I couldn't help screaming out of pain so he apologized nonchalantly and left so fast I can't even see his face. Otherwise I would just take a picture so people can be aware of this dangerous species I kept thinking, was I just being billed ?At church? In front of God ? read more

I could/would go to church everyday if I could. Mosaic is the place for me. It's a place I call Home, even though I currently live in Orange County and have to make the drive every Sunday. Moving from Singapore, I was not sure how the whole "church" situation was going to work out. I felt really intimidated by LA to start with- how was I going to find community if I felt that way?! I attended Mosaic once, twice. I was not sure how I felt at first, but subsequently I could totally feel the love of God though worship, and all the people I met. I'm soooo blessed to call Mosaic- my church. I love Erwin and Hank's messages. I can't even use the bathroom during church because I don't want to miss anything. I love the sense of community there is. After a year and a half, I feel so much apart of this city, and knowing that I may have to move away makes me so sad! I don't get all the negative reviews. As Christians, shouldn't we just love the fact that Jesus is being glorified? Rather than having to criticize something that is perhaps, not one's "style" of church. I have been to churches all over the world. Some I like, others which I will not go back to. I don't feel the need to go around "reviewing" negative aspects of the church which did not speak to me/ what annoyed me/ how people could greet me better. I really don't. That's between me and God. There is a church for everyone. Ultimately, isn't it about people getting to know Jesus? So even if one individual is "annoyed" with the loud music, that same element may be what saves another soul. If you're new, keep coming back. You might not feel at home the first time, but who does? You may find that it is a place you too can call home. read more

I have attended this church for about a year and a half. I received warning flags to not attend after some time, but I wanted to stay longer to make sure I was making the right choice to leave. I wanted to make sure I was leaving based on facts and not feelings. The main preacher, Erwin, is a great coach, but as far as pastoring not so much. He does a great job of conceptualizing the Bible for the atheist then applying it as a concrete realization, but not for a believer. His sermons are not geared towards Christians. He wants the Bible to be as appealing as possible for the nonbeliever. Unfortunately, this leaves much to be desired for the believer. It does not satiate the wanderlust of the atheist or the searching soul. A soul that is searching for something more - Jesus Christ. The soul is a desert without Christ. Can the teachings at Mosaic be that wellspring? I'll let you answer that. There is a lack of consistency from Erwin transitioning from preaching to leading. Erwin is in the back, not even leading by example. I understand he may want the younger generation to lead, but there is no legacy to follow at Mosaic. You can only leave a legacy when there is something to follow. When there is a blueprint for leadership then you can fulfill a legacy. As it looks now I see that Mosaic will end when Erwin will end. He is a dynamic speaker and can lead Mosaic into the future, leave a legacy for it to follow, but he is going to have to step into the forefront. He really needs to take a hands-on approach to leading. Maybe hands-off leadership works great for the work place, but leading a people in a barren land (Hollywood) you need a tactical and strategical approach just as we see all the great men of the Old Testament do with their armies defending Israel. Though it may sound strange, I also saw a lot of occult symbols used in their online and print media. I tried to dismiss it, but as a previous religion and theology student I couldn't shake it. I also was made aware that there is an "alleged" (i only say that to avoid a lawsuit) child predator serving as a volunteer in a very near vicinity of the children's church. I verified this through the child's testimony. I and others at different times went to associate leadership to make them aware of this. As well, a letter was mailed to the McMannus' home, addressed to Kim McMannus, which was never replied to. All of us were hushed quickly by associate pastoral staff. They insinuated that we were lying. This case is in the courts now. That person is still serving as unpaid staff. This is the exact type of leadership Mosaic could do without. This is like alerting the lookout that the enemy is coming, but the lookout never telling the commander. This is very shallow leadership. It pains me to see this behavior in the hearts of men at Mosaic. There are already enough problems of this kind in Hollywood. Mosaic should not be a part of it. There is no middle ground. They make themselves a den of thieves with this. You will see that the atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing to a degree like Photoshop, but deep down below that they have lost their way. How can you pull the best out of people like that? Is this church's angle bent for the unbeliever? How healthy is their leadership? If you really want to teach who people truly are in Christ then this church is going to really have to dig deep to what might be an uncomfortable place for them. A place of accountability and altruism. If Mosaic would like to become more genuine, they need to be more transparent about who they are. If who they are is not genuine then they need to change that. No more flashy lights or cool graphics to hide behind. Those should be the backdrop to the message and mission of the church, not a type of "branding" or at the forefront. Erwin always talks about how "relevance to culture is not optional" when preaching the gospel. About how we must shift the culture around us instead of letting it shift us, yet they seem to be swayed by it. Jesus used culture, he was a Jew after all, yet he said be not of it. He used it to his advantage in fact to show the fallacies within it and it was an instrument to his death. The transparency and genuineness of Jesus Christ seems to fall short on these people. If you want to go to a hip church that is genuine there are others that are less flashy. I suggest Judah Smith's "The City Church" on Wednesday nights at the Seban Theater. read more

Edwin and Hank are excellent public speakers and their sermons are like candy for the brain. And such theatrics! I met awesome people here and I had a wonderful women's group. I moved to LA about 3 years ago. Growing up in a Catholic church setting I explored that option while here in LA. However, I realize I wasn't getting the most out of church by sticking to my roots and going more traditional. I tried other churches that appealed more to the youth and were lively, as well as still staying true to spreading God's message. However, at these other churches not once did someone ever make me feel welcome. Or that I belonged there. I suppose it's on me as well to make an effort to meet others that want to grow their spiritual relationship, but I had no luck meeting anyone. I love growing closer to God on my own, but would love a community to group of friends that shared the same love of growing closer to God that I do. The first time I came to Mosaic I was wandering around alone when a nice guy, that is a apart of the Mosaic team began to talk with me. He made me feel so welcome at Mosaic and even though I loved everything about church that day, he definitely made a big impact on how I viewed the service. The music, the message the pastor gave, I loved everything about this place! If you've heard about Mosaic give it a try yourself before you let anyone else's opinion sway you. I was on my way to brunch one morning and saw some people outside sweeping some steps and bending over to pick up garbage on the streets and such, and was just blown away to see such a sight in Los Angeles. I was even more touched to find out that this was a CHURCH. Even though it's what we should expect, I was just so humbled to see people loving on the community around the church , because I knew it spoke volumes about how far their reach must be outside of the walls and pillars of the building. I just moved to LA a few weeks ago and have been looking for a home church, and knew I had to check this place out. I am still shook from the message I heard on Sunday! I have been telling all of my friends, and can't wait to introduce them to Mosaic. You feel welcomed immediately, and know that these smiles and warm words are not just for show, but each member feels genuinely loved by God and by each other, and it shows!!! I haven't decided to call this church home, but I have to comment on how inviting and welcoming it is. I walked in one day with a friend to attend a free Monday night improv class. We were greeted by a crowd of happy and smiley 20-somethings. Everyone is friendly, encouraging, and gentle with first-time improvers. The improv instructors are engaging and deliver great energy. An all around good time. I didn't stick around for the prayer circle 10 minutes after our last performance, but I feel compelled to. I'm so glad to call Mosaic one of my home church's. I've been going there for 5 months already and I couldn't be more blessed with the worship, the messages and awesome friendly people whom always seem to have a smile on their face. Pastor Hank has basically been the only one speaking there consistently never heard Erwin not even once. But it's okay, Pastor Hank has ministered to me and changed my life with so much of Gods word with relatable messages that go along with daily life struggles. It's a "very real" church, seems honest and genuine and not judgmental @ all. -Very creative church in many aspects: worship, film, skits, messages, art work & bulletins -People: trendy and fun artistic people funky-ish (good way) it's right off sunset so you get all kinds of diversities and ethnics groups which is awesome! -parking- stinks!!!! Not good @ all. A structure would be nice, mosaic. -Pastor Hank- is anointed and his delivery of the word is outstanding and I'm so blessed and honored to call him my pastor. Wise and very smart! I have never loved church more in my life, and I have Mosaic to thank for that. I started going in October and I have been back every Sunday since. The music from Mariah and the Mosaic band hits home every single time. The messages from Hank and Erwin not only relate to the things going on in your life, but they make you laugh too. The atmosphere of the church is totally hipster and you catch on to that the moment you walk in. The people of the church seem very accepting, considering it is a church in Hollywood, so you have people of many different ethnicities, sexualities, and so on. The desire to establish community is evident from the pre-parties and after parties that spill out onto the sidewalks. There are four services here on Sunday and there is one service at 10 at Club Nokia in DTLA. I do feel that the Downtown location is more personal, but there is more personality at the Hollywood location. Like I said before, because of Mosaic, I have never loved church more. It is against the law for an establishment to not allow a service dog there for this place got the two starfrom me because they didn't allow a service dog in. Service was nice. Would love to see what happens when the right off law officials find out . Look up some law. They are Protected by the ADA. Papa Hypster Mega has gotten too big for Jesus and their senior staff members - at least Pastor Fudge, is so full of himself that they kick people who ask too many questions out. They have demonstrated to me a disdain for real truth-seeking. Their Sunday services are really polished, plastic productions, but when you dig deeper, there is internal spiritual tension among leadership that makes them ineffective beyond a rather superficial mob-like, trance-inducing kind of show that is true to the vision of its perhaps too artistic leader who is more artist than pastor, more egocentrist than servant of Christ. Mosaic, YOU HYPOCRITES! Yours truly, The least among you, who is too much for Jesus to fit into your mega-hypster mold, and too much of a thinker to submit to your moblike community of sunday trancers. I'm sorry. I can't just listen to the driving theta waves and bob my head. I don't want to be a mob member. I am an individual, and you want me to throw that individuality, and that Jesus-centeredness away in the name of your theatrical, plastic, dumb show which is more "Singin' in the Rain" than "Ten Commandments." Best place ever! When I go to other churches it's not the same. Mosaic knows how to get the word of God in your heart on another way of understanding, they preach more on love and love is the key to all. They incorporate dance, theater and create ways of expressing God. Once I went and they had a dance show and they had amazing lighting, cirque du soile type of performances which really put me In awe that they dedicate such detail for our community. Another time they created a short film and showcased it on that particular message. Another day they built a set and had a monologue re enactment which was inspiring.. read more

Let's be honest, we are spoiled here in US. I say that as an immigrant (1st gen). I try not to judge anything from my first experience but I do consider it. I was invited to this church by a good and well respected friend and to me he is a first testimony of this church! Second-since I've been to quite a few a churches, both as a guest and part of the service/ministry team. It's gave out a good vibe as a first impression. The way I was greeted is important (even though I personally have no need for it) since it shows that this church wants me to feel welcomed. I received plenty of attention as a first timer on my first visit and the next ones. The church is pretty diverse, it's pretty important to me since I've learned that churches that are mono cultured/colored/fashioned (etc) are really focused more on culture/color or whatever their thing is...and not the Message. Messages were personable, didn't feel like theology lectures, yet weren't about everything but the Word. They made sense, were thought provoking(!), not legalistic and not shallow. Many times they are (esp. pastor McManus) a story of a redemption, change and growth. Which after long experience in ministry, church and looking for truth became more important to me than a well worded scholarly speech. Music worship was well prepared, and involving. read more

Mosaic Church is full of love and accept and love everyone. Young and old are welcome there and I really feel the love there. People introduce me over there. As an artist, I feel free to express my thoughts and love there. I talked to a few people and they told me they welcome everyone. Everyone is full of love, and caring and while listening to the message it really touches my heart. I feel more people should come and listen to their message. It really touches you and while singing the music, you can feel revived and it feels the bottom of your heart. You should give Mosaic a chance and I was glad that I was able to see a lot of people get baptized that evening in Hollywood. Indeed Mosaic is a loving and endearing community. read more

We've found our new home. Obviously, Yelp isn't a place to spew your beliefs for all to see. I'll keep that part short. My wife and I have been a huge fan of the progressive communities of faith known as Mosaic for years. My wife helped lay the foundations of Mosaic with many others in Chattanooga, TN years ago. I have her to thank for opening me up to this wonderful community of faith. I was raised in a very conservative church in TN that I never quite agreed with when I began to grow in my own path. I am far more of a message kind of guy and, upon my first day attending, Erwin said the exact things that helped me feel better about my path and direction. I've been reading Erwin's books for years, so it was a real treat to enjoy his message live. My wife is more of a service type of girl, and she said that she enjoyed it thoroughly as well. First of all, This is not a cult. I am assuming that some of the people have never been to a church where they do live music before. Now, this being my second time going to Mosaic, I can give it a fair review. Giving you my background, I've been to about over 8 churches in my life from moving around. The first time we (my boyfriend and I) went was last weekend. The music was upbeat and uplifting. The whole place made you feel the presence of God. The staging, lights, band were amazing. I really liked it from the get-go. There were two pastors that spoke, both of them were young, outgoing, and humorous. The first was Carlos. We like the message in-between worship that Carlos gave. The second Pastor that gave Majority of the message was a younger man, we don't remember his name. His message was amazing, he really knew how to put the words in today's prospective. I really enjoyed his light humor in the message. It made us really connect with him. My boyfriend and I both agreed that service was so good, we wanted to go back the next week. So here we are, it's the next week. We went to this service, thinking that this was going to be another great service, wanting it to have a great message again. Upon sitting down, the first pastor was another younger man, had a great message. He delivered that message in the middle of worship. Then came the next pastor.... Kim McManus. If I would have gone the first time and listened to her speak... I would have never returned. She is the worst speaker as a pastor that I've ever seen. I'm not trying to be hateful or rude. I am truly just disappointed. She was tying in her political agenda to the service. When I come to church I expect to escape the chaos, and really focus on Jesus and God. Not about who you want to vote for or what you think of the other candidates. She was screaming, and being obnoxious on stage. I feel that she uses her stage to make the sermon more about her than Jesus or God. This must be the culty feeling that people keep talking about. That didn't feel right. She is too crazy to be on stage, she either needs to tone it down, or not be up there. I walked out of this sermon. NEVER in my life have I left during a message of God, and I've sat through some pretty dull sermons in my life. I want to go back because of the 3 other pastors we have heard from. They were exceptional, but if I hear that she is preaching, I will not come. The only thing I took from the message today was about how they went to Africa and did some amazing work, which I thought was really beautiful. Moral of my long review: This is a great church, but they need to really limit who they let up on that stage. Even if it is the pastor's wife. And they need to leave out any opinions of controversial topics like politics. This time is about Jesus, and no one else. As for the people, everyone was super nice and welcoming. The staff really made you feel welcome there, and it didn't feel judgey. read more

I have been dismissed a day before sunday service from a hospital as I have been hospitalised for the last 13 days, and the first thing I wanted to do was attend church. I recently moved into the area and have already attended several times including sunday service and bible studies. I arrived 20 minutes early. I am forced to carry around a small service dog trained for seizure alert in order to prevent medical emergencies. As always, I explained my dog's nature, and after a little talking, I was allowed to go in as always. A little before the service would start, I was told that dogs are not allowed and that I must leave. After talking with some of the staff, I was told that I can sit outside in the lobby, but that I cannot go inside. I understand that a church has no legal responsibility to let in service dog, but my service dog is 3.5 pounds, not shedding, smaller then a shoe, harmless and did not bark a single time during the several times I attended service. I always considered church to be a place for all of us to support each other, not a place of discrimination against disabled people that need service animals in order to prevent medical emergencies. read more

Love this Church. Ever since I moved to Los Angeles 3 years ago I've been attending Mosaic on a regular basis. I love the atmosphere in worship and in awe of what pastor Erwin McManus has to say every weekend. read more

Went here for about a year and a half. Loved it in the beginning but over time I felt a shift. The surface level friendliness became more blatantly striking, and the messages by other pastors ( not Erwin) seemed to have very little to do with God. The straw that really broke the camel's back was when they announced that you would have to start paying for parking if you didn't get there at least a half hour before service. This was followed with how they'd raised 5 million so far to buy the building... read more

If you are on a search for a true, authentic church, I'd pass over this one and keep looking. I only attended one service here but they didn't pray or quote from the Bible ONCE. Kind of odd for a church, huh? read more

Mosaic has the sweetest, most gentle community along with a loving staff and pastors that are filled with so much wisdom and passion. I've never felt so at home at a church before. read more
