We just had Alejandro and Sebastian out to our house yesterday. Turns out on one level of our house the gutters were covered with a protective mesh that had been stapled in place. Apparently, this is the first time they have encountered this installation in 15 years. The added complexity drove up the cost, but that's only fair. Also, after they removed the staples, they remounted the screens with screws, so the next time they can be removed and replaced easily. We got an upgrade. Last winter, I noticed a section of our gutters improperly working -- overflowing in areas. I climbed, precariously, up there and saw a ton of asphalt/gravel debris. Not having any tools, I literally grabbed handfuls at a time and dusted myself in the face with this stuff. Couldn't get everything and the problem came back after another rain. I've never gotten my gutters or roof cleaned before so I decided to give it a shot after seeing lots of moss growing on my roof. Alejandro and Sebastian, his son, came on a Sunday to pressure wash my roof, clean the gutters, and pressure wash the driveway. They were on time, friendly, followed covid-19 safety protocols by wearing masks and speaking at a distance. They got to work immediately after I showed them the problem areas. Upon initial inspection, Alejandro mentioned a broken tile that he offered to repair without any additional charge. He even went to Home Depot to pick up a tile adhesive that blended with my tile roof color, which I reimbursed him for. They started off cleaning my gutters which didn't take long to complete. I was able to see all the debris from my gutter on the ground. Shortly after, they got to work on my roof. They got rid of the moss on the roof and ridge boards, but made sure to not get too close to the edges that would've severely chipped the paint from the water pressure. They used some moss stain remover to easily get rid of the moss. The solution will also help prevent future growth. They took their time pressure washing to ensure all tiles were cleaned off as much as possible. Once Alejandro and Sebastian were done with the roof, they cleaned all the debris around the house that fell to the ground. Additionally, I saw them cleaning some of my windows with the pressure washer to ensure any of the dirt that got on my windows were cleaned off. I asked to pressure wash my driveway since it needed attention for a small charge which he didn't mind doing. Alejandro and Sebastian were there for a full day from 9am-7pm working real hard. They appeared to have enjoyed their time together after catching a glimpse of them happily conversing while working on the roof. The house surrounding was as clean as possible given the scope of work. The communication was great from start to finish. The price was competitive without any hidden cost.
