The owners ARE very unprofessional and dismissive. Communication is horrendous and any questions or concerns (i.e. money, cancelled workshops, etc.) are met with defensiveness, excuses and use of "free" merchandise rather than real solutions. Beware they do not offer refunds, but you will get a "credit" for what THEY feel they owe you. It's extremely disappointing that a business that has been around for 21 years is ran so badly and doesn't have a better ethics. I'm sure they have a huge following, but this was my 1st experience with Planet Dance, and I will be dancing my happy ass elsewhere to get a more positive and honest experience.

Many times a no show for classes or private lessons or hosts special events then departs early leaving students and guests to fend for themselves. The studio is also on the MINDBODY app that makes it so easy to schedule classes and keep on track.

New types of classes are offered all the time and Friday happy hours are sometimes a nutritional supplement class or heart thumping neon black light Zumba Glow or Kettlebell AMPD. Men are regulars and often hold the women in awe as we burpee cardio circles around them. (I use we lightly- I don't burpee and give much props to those who do). The location is super convenient to 2 highways (75 or 275) and here is plenty of parking. MYB also offers personal training and fun community outreach events and occasional craft shows on site. I'm still not entirely sure what nia entails but it seems pretty popular in the neighborhood. The studio space is nice, easy to be comfortable in but unfortunately they have mirrors that are a little too short to be fully effective for dance and movement classes. I've danced with or taken workshops from several of the instructors. The dancers are not the best of the best (you usually have to travel far distances for the best workshops) but they are some of the best dancers in the city, friendly, have great curriculums and are great to work with.
