I went with Mossy Oak because the salesman was great. After that, the experience has been a mess. The permit got denied, not their fault, but as the homeowner, I had to spend weeks calling the city. Then when they came to install, they argued with my husband on where it should be and offered to MOVE A SPRINKLER! And then they still placed it wrong. I had to call and tell them it had to be fixed.They came back and installed it correctly but left a big mess because of the move. Then I thought because of everything I had to go through to get it installed, they could give me a break so I didn't even ask for a discount, I just asked if I could pay the bill one day later than they wanted. They put the fence up on the 4th, sent me a past due bill on the 5th and then had to have it paid by the 8th or I would get a fee charge. I asked if I could pay it on the 9th for personal reasons. The girl on the phone took a breath and wouldn't even answer. Their customer service after the sale is abysmal. I was a good customer, I did my part of the work, I paid on time and I asked for one bit of flexibility. Any company would have done me a courtesy. I never even got an apology for the mistake they made on my fence. They should have given me a discount for the mess they made of my backyard and the trouble they put me though. This was the only time I didn't get multiple quotes and I will NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! read more

extra 3K to finish plus bait & switch I have used them twice, and it just got worse. Do NOT trust anything these people say, not even the smallest detail. IN WRITING and even then, just call another company. Missing an entire line of fence in the quote. Good lord, how do you miss 93 feet of fence WITH A HOLE IN IT - which we were talking about fixing during the quote because the dog escapes through it. Tried to blame us for them missing it. Do a lot of people buy the top of the line fence and then have 2/3rds of a super nice fence and keep 1/3 falling down hole in it crappy wood fence standing? We got, oh, that will be another $3k Customer service, yeah, the lady who books it on the phone is okay, the salesman doesn't care there are mistakes & neither does mgmt. To top it off, they left a sample of the post caps for the HOA to review and approve and then gave us some really cheap lame cap instead of the nice one. Bait & switch much? Even if I judged how they did on the actual install, there's a 4 inch gap between the side they installed and the back brick wall. Not one thing went right except the nice lady on the phone which doesn't make up for the rest of the shady stuff. Gave them 3 chances to make it right and well... here you are reading this. My husband and I hired Mossy Oak to install a new fence in our backyard. We conducted a decent amount of research and obtained three different quotes in search of a reputable company in the Orlando area. We heard great things about Mossy Oak from our local news radio station so we decided to stretch our original budget in hopes for a long-term investment that we would get great joy and return from. The quality and look of the fence itself is great but the customer service was a complete disaster. The first week of March Mossy Oak called and told us they would install the fence that Friday, they promised us it was a one-day job since we have an underground pool they did not want to leave open and exposed. The day before the installation we paid someone to come take our existing fence down. The morning of, we got a phone call around 7:45 am, it was Mossy Oak to inform us that they did not have all of the necessary material to do the job. Remember this is THE DAY OF the installation, a date we had marked and planned WEEKS in advance. The workers showed up (late) installed maybe 25% of the fence and left our yard a mess. They had to go get construction fence to put around the pool in hopes that none of the neighborhood children would wondered into it. The next day I had to clean up after them; water bottles all over the yard and pieces of plastic scattered around our pool. To make matters worse, we had to call them everyday to inquire on when they would come back to finish the job. Two weeks went by and 75% of our fence was still incomplete. We have three dogs and an underground pool; this was a huge inconvenience and worry for us. Not only that, but we had to nag the office to try to get updates on the expected date of completion. The workers were so careless. They left rivets, nails and plastic shavings all over our pool deck, driveway and yard. They even used my dog's water bowl to mix concrete! Some of the poles they installed were already scuffed up and damaged. It was clear to see that the installers were subcontractors who also work for the other fence companies in the area. Mossy Oak also makes you sign waivers ahead of time releasing them from any obligated time frame to complete the job, so we were out of luck. I literally lost track of how many times they had to come back to finish this "one day job". By the time they finished more than a month lapsed. We would have much rather used their competition and fully regret our choosing of this company. The time management and follow up were basically non-existent. Our neighbors have asked about our experience and unfortunately we cannot recommend Mossy Oak since our experience was absolutely atrocious. read more

I love Mossy Oak Fence, they take pride in the quality of work that they do and following the right procedures. They take their projects seriously. I called Mossy Oak Fence to schedule a quote. The woman I spoke to at first was kind. She forwarded the call to a young woman who scheduled my appointment. When asked if I could possibly get a phone call back from a salesman with a rough guess on pricing, I was told they are to busy to call and I would have to wait for the appointment to ask. That's fine, however she had a snotty tone in her voice, which was not appreciated! The following week on the day of my appointment, I received a phone call "50 mins" prior to my appointment from the salesman. He wanted to know if I could reschedule to the following day instead because he was very busy. I agreed and told him I would see him the next day. The following day I received another phone call (same guy) 30 mins prior to my appointment. My phone was in the other room so I didn't see that he called. He did however leave a voice message asking me to call him. (Nothing else said, just call back) I immediately called him back and got his voicemail. I stated who I was and that I was returning his call. I never heard back from him and I waited patiently for his arrival...TWO HOURS later I received a call from the same guy telling me he can be at my house in about 20 mins. Seriously?? I politely told him I had no interest in doing business with MOF. It was very obvious that he did not respect my time! I rearranged my schedule two days in a row to get this quote and got nothing out of it but a huge inconvenience! My impression of this company is not a good one. How could I even trust the workers would even show up after dealing with all this. I will definitely be shopping elsewhere! read more

My guy actual did show up to DO the estimate, but then never heard form him again. I emailed him, no answer. I text the number that text me for the appointment and was told that was a private phone, Donny (my rep) no longer worked for the company and a manager would reach out to me. That was about a month ago still no word. I started over yesterday getting quotes form 2 different companies. So basically Mossy Oak just wasted 2 weeks of my time!!!! Contracted for a $1,100 fence surrounding the AC unit and storage area for our garbage and recycling cans. First off, BUYERS beware if you use a credit care they slide in a 2% added fee if you use a credit card. This isn't disclosed in their contract nor on any signage anywhere in their office. They only tell you as they are running the credit card payment that they added 2% for using a credit card. Very unprofessional ! Secondly, the lack of communication to us as to the install date was terrible. They were a no show on the first scheduled date. We waited all day and WE had to call their voice mail to ask where they were. They called the next day and again rescheduled for very early morning install. They didn't show up until 4:30 that same afternoon. Another day they wasted OUR TIME waiting on them. We were told by the owner/manager we weren't a "big job" and they had to work us in. Sorry, but I don't consider $1,100 a small job, it's big money to us ! We won't be recommending them to anyone due to the reasons above. read more
