Every week, right as rain, my cooler is out on the porch and magically, filled with yummy stuff! The produce is the best on the planet, seriously. Fresh, delicious, picked sometimes the day before! Yesterday's sun still clinging to the leaves! When I've given friends different fruits and veggies they always agree, it's not just tasty but it last longer than any organic fresh foods you can get at a grocery store. So, it saves us $$ ! We usually order the Northwest Box, as that allows us to eat the most local, seasonal foods. Wintertime we go back to a broader area to choose from, a treat as well. I go online to order more produce, or great steel cut oats, or rosemary rolls from The Breadfarm in Bow, or maybe albacore caught and packed in Oregon or Alaskan salmon or many various sundries, and the laundry soap? Lasts forever, is so compact, without the fillers and waters and unnecessary chemicals. It's gentle on my sensitive skin and strong enough to deal with my husbands undershirts. Makes great gifts, too. This company, this community of people, is so caring and giving, their farming is sustainable and so is their place in the community. Through them I can choose to donate food to my local food bank and my local recovery café or internationally on things like water & food projects. We love Klesick Family Farms!

Instead of supporting their staff and helping them succeed, they put unrealistic expectations on employees and then punish them when they can't meet them. It creates a toxic and discouraging work environment where people don't feel valued. No one should be treated this way, especially when they are new and still learning. The way the manager handles situations shows a complete lack of professionalism and compassion. Grocery Outlet needs to take a serious look at how their managers treat their teams, because good employees are being driven away.

We've been going there for years. Sadly, they no longer offer ice cream cones (just ice cream in pints and quarts) - they explained to me that they were overwhelmed by people who just wanted ice cream, and that it made it hard to sell fish. A security guard followed me inside the store and confronted me to ask whether my dog was a service dog, even though the dog was clearly wearing a vest that says "PTSD SERVICE DOG." He also told me that the dog was not allowed in that area, openly questioning my right to remain there in a public establishment. Additionally, he asked questions that went beyond what is legally permitted, including questioning my disability--something a security guard is not allowed to ask. What was most alarming is that, minutes later, another person entered with a dog without any identification, and no questions were asked at all. The difference in treatment was obvious. As a longtime customer, I felt singled out and treated differently--an experience that came across as discriminatory and racist. No one should have to go through something like this while simply shopping :-(
