I got married this past weekend and hired Casey as my day of coordinator - one of the best decisions I ever made! Prior to my wedding day she contacted all of my vendors and introduced herself as the day of contact, so I wouldn't have to worry about anything that day. She confidently answered every question I had and she even emailed me a list of things that I would need for the day. The list had things you don't really think of such as a change of shoes, phone charger, after party outfit. Casey even made a spreadsheet of the entire day including what time every vendor would be arriving and where. This was very helpful, especially for someone like me who isn't really the most organized and is more a "we'll figure it out" kind of person. On the morning of my wedding, she was at my house early and ready to help with anything and everything we could possibly need help with. She paid my limo drivers, handled the bouquet delivery, and even set my dress up for me. She helped me and my mom with getting on our dresses and jewelry and also held onto a turkey sandwich for my dad. Casey just being there made everything run smoothly because I knew I didn't have to worry about anything. You really don't think of how many little things need to get done on your wedding day but thankfully, Casey was there to take care of it all so me and my parents didn't have to. Now for maybe the biggest thank you of all. When Nik Ru said she needed a day of planner . I didn't understand why or that it could be justified. A lot like when Nikki asks me about specific things in sports. I always answer those questions with "just trust me." Nikki said the same about her day of wedding planner. So I did, but I never expected to have encountered what we did with Most Valuable Bridesmaid and Casey McKenna. Our venue had a lot of moving parts in the sense that it was a space and not a traditional hall. So there was a lot that needed to be coordinated and worked out/managed . Casey did that and beyond. She was determined , she was polite, she was organized , she was helpful, she was honest, she was kind, she was professional, and best of all she helped give my lovely wife the day she dreamed of. I would describe myself as a very anxious person, so on the day of my wedding its amazing how cool, calm and collected I was feeling. I can honestly say it was because, other than marrying my husband, hiring Casey was one of the best decisions I could have made for the day! Casey was at my mom's house early and ready to work. She made sure all of my bridesmaids were where they should be so that all of my pictures moved so smoothly, which is not an easy task when there are 11 girls to get together. She set up the trays of food so that my mom wasn't worried about entertaining, she was able to just enjoy the morning with me. Casey was the point person for all of my vendors, she handled all of their tips and any issues that came up throughout the day. I never knew what was happening behind the scenes, I was just able to take in all the love and happiness that was apart of the day. She was able to coordinate my crazy request of hiding 40 balloons in the back of the church and getting them distributed so that I could have the perfect pictures when leaving the church. These are just a few of the many tasks she accomplished the day of my wedding to make everything perfect. I will start this off by saying that I have known Casey for my entire life. I have only ever known her to be selfless, positive, driven, and kind. I was lucky enough to have her as a bridesmaid on my wedding day, before she started her MVB business. Even then, she was working her tail off to make my day perfect, I didn't know the gift I was getting having her there for free!! I'll be honest, when I heard she was going to be working a wedding that I was in, I wasn't 100% sure what that meant. I knew that she would be helpful and upbeat, but I was BLOWN AWAY seeing her in action. Casey was simply invaluable for the entirety of the day. Her confidence in herself and her work brought calmness to all of the antsy bridesmaids. From the moment she arrived at the house in the morning to the last song played at night, she was on top of everything. She had what I can only describe as a 'Mary Poppies' bag, filled with every wedding day item you never knew you needed. Having her with me on my wedding day was a gift. I was gifted Casey for my wedding and I will scream from it from the rooftop that every bride needs Casey. Casey was my (and my husbands and bridal party's) literal ANGEL. She (and her assistant Erin) worked their butts off and took care of everyone and everything. Our family and bridal party were so impressed because they "were always doing something, never sitting or standing around". Also, Casey truly made me feel special on my wedding day and helped with my bustle, shoes, EVERYTHING. She and Erin went above and beyond and even took a ton of BTS photos and videos.
