    Cobb salad

This place definitely needs a spotlight as it was pretty empty the day I dined here. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They offered explanations of the menu. We got a Cobb salad to split which came with the most tender soft grilled chicken I have ever had. We also got the short rib burger which was delicious.

Super cute cafe tucked into the side of the hotel, able to feel intimate without the flow of traffic from the hotel. I really enjoyed their cold brew, and every single thing from the menu was really good. But the highlight for me was the lox toast. Have never had it like this and it overshadowed everything else! We also had the dulce de leche flan and even though it was delicious, it was very dense and rich, and felt more like eating a mousse. Really nice and quick service, great for a brunch with a couple friends, not a group (small tables!) . Would visit again :)

Charly Garcia Corner- Burger, cheddar, pickled cucumber, red onion, $20 or $29 with fries. Excellent

This is a little hotel restaurant in an odd location. It's pretty close to Au Cheval and I guess that placed rubbed off on here as they had a surprisingly good burger (more on that later) while the rest was just fine. I wouldn't exactly call the spot Argentine but they have a few dishes that are loosely related to there and the rest of the menu had some small plates and a couple pretty larger ones. They have a nice happy hour including some dishes that aren't on the main menu as well as better alcohol and wine deals. The staff was nice and it was pretty quiet especially when someone stopped playing the piano in the lobby. They were oddly out of some drinks already such as one person in my party getting the last glass of their mulled wine and I think one appetizer was out which doesn't help the small menu. For Happy Hour, I went with the Draft Manhattan for $12 which is usually $16 as the negroni was gin based. It was pretty tasty with light bitterness. The wine glasses of the day for others on said menu were $9 instead of the usual and I think it was either a Montepulciano or a Sauvignon Blanc. As noted above, only one person got the Mulled Wine as they were out and they appeared to like it a lot. In terms of food from the happy hour, they sell single empanadas for $6 which are normally only sold as $14 for 2. There was a beef one, a cheddar and onion one, and a chicken one and people seemed to like them. I'm unsure if they are made in house but people liked them. I got the charcuterie platter for $12 which is oddly only on the HH menu which had Manchego cheese along with a very lightly spiced chorizo and another salami type sausage and it came with bread. This was fine. My main dish was the easy star of the night which as noted was the burger. Listed as Charly Garcia's Corner, it was $20 for a beef burger with cheddar, pickled cucumber, and red onion or $29 for the Hand Cut Fries in addition which is also available as a snack for $9. For a solo patty, it was a pretty large burger and the burger was juicy and cooked medium rare as requested. The pickled cucumber was a nice touch as well the slightly astringent raw sliced onion which I'm usually not the the biggest fan of but they worked here. I didn't mind the lack of the lettuce and tomato on it either. There was also a sauce which was thousand island equivalent which worked. Notable also was the fries as they weren't the usual. They were much lighter fried almost closer to slightly fried wedges and had a little bit of shredded cheese on them which I think was parmesan as well as an herb for garnish which presumably was parsley. Otherwise, another person got the Hummus and Pita for $9 with olive oil and paprika which was a decent portion but not notable otherwise outside of the texture being lacking and that it was very likely a store brand with said toppings for pizzazz. A few people enjoyed their Gambas al Ajillo for $15 with shrimp, chili, white wine, and a garlic emulsion which was a small portion but they thought the flavor was excellent. The burger as noted was the best and is the main thing helping the rating. If I didn't order said burger, I'd give this place a mid 2 as it's a bit pricey for the rather generic quality. Lower 3 for the burger so a 3 still.

Website says they open at 7am. No one there at 7:30, leaving hotel guests with nothing for breakfast.

The drinks and desserts were not good. The appetizers and mains were delicious. My suggestion would be to order wine and find a dessert restaurant close by. The drinks were not well balanced and took entirely too long to get to the table. We had the Caipirinha and Mi Amante Flor. Neither was good. For dessert, we had the Dulce cake and it was burnt. The burnt butter was the best thing we had all night. The empanadas, papardelle, the halibut, and chupin were are good.

We came here for a late night drink because the speak easy Saint Tuesday was hosting a private 25th birthday party! We chatted and talked and drank and had a lot of laughs! It's a long restaurant and it seems pretty cool. We will have to come back for food and drink. Always fun to discover something that you never knew about before!

Food was overpriced and mediocre. Service was spotty/inconsistent (wrong coffee, slow service, etc). The only upside was that because it is located inside the w hotel, it is nice and quiet. Loved the interior design but wouldn't waste money just for that.

This is an elegant restaurant inside the Walker hotel with delicious Argentinian cuisine. Order the potato tortilla because with the aioli and anchovies, it's probably unlike any you've tried before. The empanadas had a unique smokey flavor to it, and the whole branzino was cooked to perfection with the beet and herb salad.

Very cool little restaurant beautifully laid out great service interesting dishes I like the vibe very much. I was here for a special food and wine event but I could tell the regular menu has a lot to offer. Definitely will be back to give it a go.

This place is a topa, so we weren't aware and were starving sadly. But the little food we did order was amazing. A bit overpriced in my opinion, but exquisite nonetheless. I probably would never come back here but glad I tried it. It's located in a hotel and has a very cozy chic vibe. Staff is friendly and provided prompt services. I don't have any complaints besides the prices, but that's expected I guess

This place is a bit full of itself for what it is. Lackadaisical service, bland and runny scrambled eggs. Better brunch places in TriBeCa.

I am SO glad we did. The vibe drew us in, they had great music bumpin from the outside, it looked lively and welcoming. Let me tell you- I would have skipped dinner and just stayed here all evening if it was my choice! But alas, my husband wanted a bit more to eat. But let me tell you- their knowledge of wine is PRISTINE! I can't tell you what white wine we had but they captured our tastes perfectly. We also shared a bruschetta and it was deliciouso! I love how friendly the staff was here and how unpretentious it all was. Next time we are in NYC- we will definitely make a point to come visit Rake!

First I'll start with the wine - we ended up trying all three happy hour wines (HH until 7), which the tables favorites were the white and we ended up getting a bottle to split once HH ended (but I really enjoyed the other vino verde option). It was incredibly refreshing and paired well with the many tinned fish options. As you'd expect - it's a pretty massive selection and there is bound to be a varietal and glass for any palate. It's also attached to a wine store - so it's fine to see all the bottles when peaking over. Food-wise - this is where it was hit or miss, they have a pretty extensive menu (with a whole tinned fish section!) and we ended up ordering the buratta on focaccia (buratta was excellent, focaccia was too dense for my tastes), mushroom truffle crostini (way too salty), the flatbread with sliced kielbasa (was fine), halloume (table favorite ), tinned sardines in lemon oil (delicious), tinned smoked trout (my favorite). Overall the four of us were very full at the end of the meal! The space itself felt very relaxing and rustic, and definitely got busier as the night went on (we got there at 6:50 and left around 9). The service was also fast and attentive - even for the amount of tables they were serving. Overall - I'd definitely go back again, and maybe just focus on the wine and another tinned fish selection!

The ssam lettuce wraps were good, though they read a little more like Jewish brisket with a spicy bean sauce than what I expected from a Korean lettuce wrap. Still tasty, just a different vibe. Honestly, this would've been a 5-star meal if I didn't leave with three mosquito bites. Great food, great service, great wine -- just maybe bring bug spray.

The bar is very scenic so you will definitely feel like you are getting the full dining experience. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Make reservations for peak dining times in the evenings and on weekends. Many people walked in without reservations and were seated right away on Saturday evenings. Highly recommend trying their original cocktails ($18). We tried the flower child and the harvest moon. Both were tasty. I would get harvest moon again and again. Perfect balance of Tart, sweet refreshing and strong. Menu items change seasonally so it's delightful to try something new every time you visit. $21 potato croquettes were highly disappointing. Everyone recommended them highly, but I could not understand why. For such price, three tiny balls of fried potato should've been mind blowing, but they were underwhelming and forgettable at best. Skip. $24 giant ricotta stuffed raviolo was delightful. Such soothing comfort food. If I could eat just this, I would be happy. $26 fresh crudo was refreshing and light. Delicious cold broth/juice soup in which it was served. $32 Bronzino with mussels in a broth was superb. Light, crispy, and delicate. Would eat this dish for dinner Any night of the day. Balanced flavor profile. Could suit anyone who is picky about their food. $30 lamb neck was a solid dish. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and delicate and flavorful on the inside. Wish the portion was a bit bigger, especially the sides. $38 duck confit was highly advertised, however, it was underwhelming and the least stand out dish. It was solid, but nothing that I would order again or recommend. The duck was on the dry side. Definitely not enough sauce. The cabbage and the cabbage salad were good. Crispy and refreshing. The duck was not the star of this dish. $13 chocolate mousse with strawberry coulis was surprisingly delightful. So light and balanced. Not sweet, but just right to finish a meal. I could eat this dessert every day after every single meal. So simple, yet it hit the spot. Service is very fast and efficient. One of our readers was superb and provided stellar recommendations. Another waiter (young and inexperienced) was very shy and his energy felt very stifling.
