Been going here for 2 years now. The staff is some of the friendliest of any bar I've been to. Wine selection is 10/10.

Olivia H. is clearly a paid reviewer because my experience here a few days ago felt like a literal sitcom. First off, the front door is mounted on flimsy plastic hinges, so every time someone opens it, it swings open violently and knocks the vase off the nearby table. The service was somehow even worse. When I was there on Tuesday, May 19th from 8-10 PM, there was exactly ONE bartender working the entire place -- both inside and outside -- and she was unbelievably inattentive. My date and I sat at the bar for TWENTY MINUTES before she even acknowledged us or asked if we wanted drinks. I literally had to call out "Excuse me" just to order a $25 quarter-filled glass of wine. Embarrassing all around. And when we were ready to leave and wanted the check, the female bartender working on Tuesday May 19th from 8-10 PM was busy standing in the corner chatting with someone instead of helping customers. I haven't seen someone move this slowly or care this little since the DMV. TO MANAGEMENT - this was absolutely horrible, embarrassing, and unprofessional service. Clean up your act, and hire a second or even a third bartender. read more

They have quite a robust wine list! Nice atmosphere. I didn't love the patio seating options (very much on the sidewalk), but it was much more comfortable sitting inside at the bar. The wine was great and we had an attentive server who was able to help guide us through the wine choices. Would return! read more

I love this place. I've been here three times now, and it's small enough where I can feel comfortable going by myself and enjoying my own company. The staff is experienced with their knowledge of wine and food pairings, and very hospitable and kind. They also have jazz nights sometimes and that's always a lovely treat. Ok this maybe my favorite wine bar in the soho area. I stumbled upon it after an afternoon of shopping, while just wanting to relax outside with a glass of wine. They have a pretty good selection of wines available by the glass. I believe I had the Gruner from Austria, an easy day drinking wine. The staff is incredibly polite and do not rush customers to be done. I spend a considerable amount of time running errands in this neighborhood, so glad to have found this gem of a place! I am going to be a regular here. read more

We had a really uncomfortable experience here. Showed up as a group of 2 guys and 2 girls around 10pm on Friday, and shortly after getting our wine, noticed there was an old man at another table taking illicit photos of us and other groups. Flagged this to our server, who proceeded to just shrug and say there was nothing he could do and just went about his night. We decided to close out immediately and leave the bar with zero response from the bar. We understand this kind of thing can happen but we were primarily disappointed in the way the staff responded. read more

I would rate this a 5 but the service was not great - bartender last night was personality minus - and the red wines were sitting on the bar and the temperature in the place was at least 80 degrees. We mentioned this to the grumpy bartender and he had all kinds of excuses so we suggested that he open the door to cool it off, so he did. Then we ordered 2 whites by the glass and one was lukewarm (Sancerre) and he said it was supposed to be warm - um no not as warm as it was .... we did not order food, but the people next to us did, and it didn't look very appetizing. The only reason I give it more than one star is there was a nice jazz duel playing, and that was the only reason I gave more than one star. read more

Based on my experience: If you are looking for a wine bar this really isn't it, but if you need something in the neighborhood it is pleasant to sit there on a nice night. That's mostly what I enjoyed about being here. Went here on a Saturday night with a friend, each of us stopped at one glass of wine. The wine we tried was waaay marked up for the quality and the cheese and meat board was as well (at least there was a good amount for 2 people but for 40 bucks... I dunno). Our waiter did not know how to describe one wine I asked about (but was honest about it at least) and really struggled with another. He didn't offer any recommendations, ask what I was looking for, or offer me to taste a glass (I asked for it myself). At the price point they've set at a place literally called CORK, you should be able to assist someone choosing a glass of wine. No one told us which cheeses were which on the cheese board when it was dropped, which is a pretty standard overpriced-cheeseboard thing to do which I wish happened. We never saw our waiter after he delivered our wine and so we paid at the bar. Nice outdoor/indoor space on a less crazy street in Soho. The other people there on a Saturday night were some people on dates and mostly young 20s dressed in party clothes, maybe coming by before a night out. Saturday evening, not at all crowded inside this tucked away wine bar. Relaxing atmosphere and rustic furniture that's perfect for an easy date night. Between two people, got two glasses of the Malbec, and a Cheese Plate (total $65ish). Definitely on the pricey side, but the pours are generous, pairing well with the variety of cheeses. The plate itself consisted of one soft cheese, a hard cheese, and a semi-soft cheese; accompanied by some bread, nuts, and honey. The only thing that was missing was some jam or raisins for that fruity kick. Service started off very well here but tapered off after getting our food. Seems like they have a possible event space seating in the back, though not fully built out yet. Worth a try for a casual night out. read more

Seems like the employees were just hanging out near the bar so we had to flag down our waiter and I had to physically bring the check to the front so that we could pay and leave. Stopped in after wandering around and looking for a place with a good vibe and a nice bar to have a drink and ended up staying for a while and then going back after dinner for another glass of wine before calling it a night. Absolutely loved the wines. There were tons of options by the glass which is what we were looking for. We mostly stuck with red and white burgundy's, but the options were varied and endless across price points and regions/varieties. There were also some cocktail specials that looked good but we didn't try them. Definitely our new favorite wine bar in NYC and favorite bar of any kind in Soho. The owner was also the manger/bartender/ sommelier and her recommendations were spot on based on what we told her we were interested in. Great little wine bar in the heart of SoHo. The ambiance and atmosphere are great for anything from a date night to a girls night. Stop by after dinner as I saw good reviews. I'm disappointed. The place was not busy. The wine list was expansive, but mostly young vintages. I ordered a glass of Cote Rotie. The waitress never repeats the order when taking or serving. And of course, I got the wrong wine, and my suspicion was confirmed when the receipt showed Chateauneuf-du-Pape afterward. Besides that, the wine was served in a nice glass, but at room temperature (~75F), which made the wine too aggressive and alcoholic. Atmosphere-wise, the space looks nice, but filled with smoke smells, and weed for some period of the time, which I found those intrusive for wine drinking. read more

Inconsistent. Sometimes the pizza is piping hot and delicious with the right level of basil and a nice delicate sauce with just enough mozzarella and other times NO. Sunday brunch with friends, the farmers eggs (3 orders) were Cold, along with the potatoes and the toast. For as long as it took I felt certain that all was being cooked to order. I think not the farmers eggs looked like and tasted like they were severed up from a batch made earlier. An omelette (make your own) was fantastic. It was piping hot and the eggs delicate and the spinach and cheese a perfect blend. Was the whole order sitting there waiting for the made to order eggs? Perhaps. Taking it down to three stars. After a great first two times here I can back a few months later and they'd lost the only server who knew anything about wine. Ordering was a sh*tshow, requiring multiple iterations to find something in stock and at an appropriate temperature. Nice people but they need to learn how to a wine bar. Tip: if you come here, don't start with the wine list -- start with what's open on the bar. Also, tried to give them a second chance two nights later and couldn't get their attention / get served outside because they had a small wall of smokers half-inside / half-outside that presumably obscured their own view of their outside tables.
