I recently had Motech mechanics fixing my car. I would highly recommend that you do NOT take you vehicle here. They will not fix your vehicle correctly and they will overcharge you. I don't know how they are still in business. My car had a problem with the transmission and leaking from the engine. Motech said nothing was wrong. They claim thyre "professional " but they are the no where near bottom line of professionalism, they over charge any type of service please do not go there please I have got a diagnosis coolant pump test for 50$ and after they quoted me for a waterpump replacement and thermostat replacement and the price was 750 they even printed me a paper I have proof. I went somewhere else and they did the job for 300$. Saved my self 450$ for going somewhere else. Road pass this place many times and never used them. Wish I never did. I went in for an oil change and within in like 15 minutes after I left my car was SMOKING. I called and they claim that it was just oil that had spilled on the engine and it would burn off. I believed them and kept drive in about another 10 minutes (25 minutes total ) my car was shaking and making a knocking sound. I called my brother and he said sounds like either (A) I have no oil or (B) something is wrong with my engine. I called back and they told me to drive back up there. My bro told me not to do that cause I could damage my engine. Thus I called them again and told me they the what my brother said and their response was they couldn't help me if I couldn't get the car back to them. I said, "Can''t you send a tow truck" the told me it would be a fee for that. A fee for something they did. My car was great before they touched it now it's smoking and knocking. After almost an hour of heated debates I realized they were not going to help me unless I paid them more money. So, I had my car towed to another shop which cost my $85 and the other shop said they punctured my oil pan which caused all of my oil to leak out. That's why my car was smoking and knocking because there was no oil in the car. So, what was suppose to be a simple oil change cost me $175 to replace the oil pan plus the $85 tow fee. I recently purchased a car at an auction and wanted to be sure it was safe to drive. I brought it to Motech to check the suspension because I noticed some problems while driving. Long story short, my wife ended up stranded on the road less than a week from my diagnostic visit for a ball joint that was never mentioned as needing to be replaced.
