I've been going to Warholak Tire for my tire needs for well over 20 years. Initially, I was sad when Mike and Paul decided to retire, but I continue to be a happy customer. Steve, the new owner, takes care of me just like Mike and Paul did, and I am very pleased that he has expanded Warholak's service offerings to including oil changes and brake work. Just yesterday, Steve took care of new tires, and oil change, and new brakes on my son's car, and the service was excellent, the car was ready when promised, and the prices extremely fair. They always can fix what Michigan Roads do to my tires, or get the quality tires that I need within my budget when the roads have done their work on them. Discovered this morning I had a gradual leak in my front tire. I stopped in and they identified the problem. Offered me a patch option but also told me that a replacement tire would be much more beneficial I let them know that for now I may just need a tire to get me through for a bit. I will never go back. I have seen the decline in customer service. I heard and felt my tire pop and drove straight to Warholak. The new owner came out visually walked around my car and said my tires looked fine to him. I told him I felt it pop. There were no cars in the bay. He told me I could come back the next day at 9!!!! I went straight to another tire place, they let me know I could wait but they would get me in. Once they lifted the car, they saw the hole. Good customer service would've been for him to let me know I could wait but they would check it for safety (it was 3:32pm and they close at 6). But no, he walked around my car looked with his eyes from a distance and said it was fine. Luckily, I didn't take his word and get on the highway and crash harming myself or another person on the road. Historically, I have used Discount Tire exclusively, but they behaved very badly a few months ago and I am taking my business elsewhere ... Not the cheapest for the four snows that I need, but plenty close enough that I will not quibble over a few dollars. Certainly not convenient to me, but two of my favorite lunch stops are kind'a, sort'a in the area. And ... I get a good feeling from supporting a thriving, multi-generational family business. I love this place!! I have been coming here to get new tires since I got my first car (I'm 25 now). I think this business is family owned and operated, because every time I come for tires the same people are working. But on to the review! Definitely 5 stars and that is no exaggeration. They are honest people, and won't try to rip you off. They can work with almost any price range, and the simply go the extra mile for their customers. Once before, I had left my debit card to pay for my services, one of the men took me to the bank so that I could get cash (even after I had insisted on catching a Lyft, he insisted that I save a couple bucks). All 5 star reviews ? Hard to imagine. But after being there to fix some rim leaks I would say that anyone giving less than 5 stars is off their chump. Two wheels fixed, and properly restored, in under half an hour. Didn't even get out of the car. Good grief it almost takes that long to book an appointment online on the discount tire website. I've come here around 3 times now to have wheels straightened back out or replaced, tires fixed, etc. and every time my experience has been wonderful. I went here to because I got a nail in my tire and had a slow leak. I'd stopped by belle tire and they told me it would cost me $20 and an hour and a half to plug it. Having had some experience with getting tires plugged/patched, that seemed pricey and really time consuming so I decided to try Warholak. They were really friendly, told me they could do it immediately, it would take 10-15 minutes at the most and that they patch the tire, not just plug it. I don't know how they are about selling tires but my experience with them in tire repair was excellent! It seems that they're the kind of place that people have been going to for a long time. I am glad I found this place I needed a tire repair on Saturday and just happened by this place .it looked like it was straight out of the 1920s with a Michelin man holding a tire in the window . the one guy that helped me was named Paule and said he is the third generation owner they were super honest and told me I had a rim leak and could have over charged me for a new rim but they fixed it instead for what seemed like a extremely cheap price compared to the last time I went to Belle Tire . + Small businesses like this need cash more than the bigwigs shop local definitely comes to mind while you're here. I will definitely go back to these guys. it is a easy stop there right off the freeway and it is hard to find someone who is honest when it comes to being a mechanic or automotive related issue . these guys come across as a no BS type of place Plus you feel like you're waiting on the old air hose to go ding ding when you pull in and sheriff Andy and Gomer to walk out this place is worth the stop even if just to check it out and get air in your tires lol read more

I ran over some nails and needed tire service. I was told this place was VERY good and I was not disappointed. They took the tire and tried to fix it-NOT, but had a used one in better shape than the one w/ nails. Sixty bucks and out the door in about 30 minutes. In a very busy intersection on Wyoming and Ford Road. Not the best looking place, but 80 years old and good service and polite people, who cares? I will go back and get new tires and repairs, here. Right off the bat, the family owned establishment projects a certain welcoming atmosphere. Every time I've been here, nothing but positive experiences. Best prices, straightforward and honest. Caught a nail in a tire, decided to swing by belle tire (it was on a Sunday). They said I needed a new tire and the guy wanted to order it for me right away. Of course, I waited until Monday to swing by Warholak and Paul and Mike took care of me. Patched it up and I was good to go. Last year i bought a set of tires from them to replace a set that seems to never last more than a year. You would think that these specific brands they put on new cars would last you a good while, but when I'm only putting 10k miles a year, it's really a shame you don't get more than a good year out of them (ironically they are Goodyears lol ). Nevertheless, got a set recommended by Mike and one year later they have definitely lived up to my expectations. Thanks guys! read more

They're the greatest--have fixed my tires and they are super friendly and have never tried to "up-sell" me, which is the MO of most tire places, particularly if one is a "chick." so i had a front end vibration from 60-75mph and was worried it was something expensive. what makes it worse is that my model of car has a bad history of unsolvable front end anomalies like this. i brought it in to the brothers at Warholak as a preliminary attempt to fix the vibration. they had to straighten 2 of my wheels, and balance them all around. my vibration is completely gone now. i was lucky it was all in the wheels (which have 200K on them) and im so grateful for these guys. this is just another thumbs up for Warholak!
