Rooms are dirty, stained sheets and pillow cases. Beds are uncomfortable you can feel the coils also one of the rooms smelled like smoke. There was a homeless man roaming around when I checked in throughout the hallways of the hotel so lock the doors. Only reason I give two stars is because the employee Melina (I think was her name) gave me a different room and I was much more satisfied due to it not smelling like smoke and pillow cases were not stained. As a certified @TravelingDoulaNCS, whenever I'm in town for work, the price and value that this location's convenient access to everything I need along with their super-friendly, diligently hardworking, and responsive staff (office, housekeeping, handymen, and groundskeepers) makes every stay here wonderfully pleasant. Anytime I've had a concern, their staff is quick to make things right - a perfect example of stellar customer service from every staff member I've encountered. Y'all are to be commended! I travel with my own pillows but the bed isn't as firm as I'd like (personal preference); but even without my two sound machines, this place has been consistently quiet. I'm always able to get quality daytime naps and nighttime sleep when needed, and I feel safe and comfortable coming and going at any time. Both the bottom and top floors have trash bins between every few doors. I've seen their staff stay on top of empty/cleaning the outside of the bins multiple times a day - excellent! I know there's only so much they can do cleaning up after guests with varied levels of personal cleanliness and respect for other's property. I know that m/hotels are doing their best to use environmentally friendly cleaning products; however, some of their linens, towels, tabletops/counters, chairs, floors, and bathrooms could use some straight up bleach so for this I would rate the rooms at a 4*. I do have OCD-like tendencies, but because of my job and personality I extend much grace to others. I see their friendly staff operate as a team and a well-oiled machine doing their best with what they've got to work with and I'm so incredibly grateful! Each consistently positive experience here is another huge incentive for me to continue booking in the future. read more

This was the worst and scariest motel experience I've ever had! Very loud music reverberating from adjoining room; group of men conjugating outside as if a party with smoking and could be drugs. My room stunk of smoke odor. Bathroom sink counter had live cockroach. The bed looked like it could have bed bugs. I didn't sleep a wink due to party next door. Reported it to front desk who said he couldn't check it out and advised me to call the police on my own. By morning when the mgr arrived and the party was over and safe to go outside, the mgr refunded me only the 2nd night and only 40% of the night that I didn't even sleep. I was prebooked for 2 nights. I thought San Dimas was a safe area, but not this motel area apparently. They need to staff a night security guard and an extra front office person. Also, they need to spot check their cleaning crew and fumigate the rooms and beds. read more

Really bad experience overall. I was displaced by the fires and had to book a motel for the night, this was the closest location I could find to home that had any availability. Negatives: WiFi was unusable (it was "connected" but kept giving errors every time I tried to use it), TV couldn't connect to the network and only showed one news channel, room surfaces were grimy/dirty (bring Clorox wipes and clean before you touch anything if you're smart!), there were holes in the walls, graffiti on the door and the mattress had noisy springs and a huge divet which I kept falling into while I slept. Room was also facing a busy street with lots of loud traffic + business noise. Bring a white noise machine if you're a light sleeper. One positive note: it had plentiful hot water! So if you're a pioneer from the 1800's I'm sure you'll be thrilled about that, otherwise steer clear. I know this is a "budget" option at about $100 per night, but considering the provided amenities even half that price feels like a rip-off. Would only return if I was absolutely desperate! read more

This Motel 6 was not like this. The room was filthy and the bedding was stained. Brought my own cleaning supplies and disinfected the room. Hair and guck everywhere. Very dissappointing. I do not recommend this parti ular site at all. The staff is terrible and do not know how to handle a situation when paying cistomers say the is not clean and we need new bedding. You dont ask questions you just do it and take care of the situation immediately. Its called hospitality and staying in motel/hotel thats what its all about hospitality. read more

EVERYTHING sucks about this place! I told the front desk lady that my wife had a service animal and she assigned us to a 2nd floor. No big deal. I just assumed they had an elevator. They didn't. So I returned to the front desk to request an accessible room on floor 1. She got defensive and started blaming us for not telling her during check-in (which we did). I didn't argue. Just realized she was a piece of crap. She angrily switched us to room 135 after blaming me for her lack of common sense or pertinent info for a front desk clerk to know. The refrigerator was off so our food spoiled as it took all night to get cold. The TV remote didn't work. It was locked on the guide screen and only the news channel was playing. Only one outlet in the room worked. Three did not work. The wifi does NOT work. At all. Can't even load an email. Seems like they are falsely advertising amenities that are NOT, in fact, available. I've stayed in some s*#tholes in LA but this one is by far the s*#tiest. You'd be safer and happier sleeping on Skid Row. read more

Although the staff is amazing In the room i stayed in 231, the shower was damaged with a lot of cigarette burns in the bathroom and, as requested, another room, which was 149, the same problem. Also, there is no refrigerator and microwave, but as we convinced that there were amenities. That was so far from the truth. By far, it's one of the worst stays I've experienced. As the room was filled with the residue lingering of cigarette smell. Which hit is listed as a non-smoking facility. They only have a plug-in, which is hidden behind the bed. "Motel 6, we'll leave the light on" ... please don't. This is by far the worst motel 6 I have ever stayed in. It is so run down and dilapidated it's embarrassing. There are stains all over the floor, patches on the wall and it reeks of cigarette smoke. In addition to all that, we had a random visitor knock on the door at 0230. Half of this hotel faces the street. There is no privacy fence or fence of any kind and as a result any Tom, Richard or Harry can walk up to your room and say hello. I wouldn't stay here at all. Not for the price. Motel 6 used to be decent back in the day. I don't know what happened but this is a disgrace and motel 6 should be embarrassed. read more

Be careful if you stay here I would not if you are a woman especially! Strange men stay outside of the premises. On my second night I had two people try to get into my room around midnight. They kept knocking and trying to get in by force. I think that they were trying to traffic or find people for human trafficking. It was a man and a woman they said that they thought it was their room. I put the latch on the door at some point. I was walking my dog one morning and two men said hello to me out of nowhere then another man appeared and those two men followed me towards my room. I have a feeling that the staff is in on all of this it is not safe. read more

I stayed one night, first time using motel 6, the room was infested by roaches, they were so many even in the bed, but I was so tired to complain, so in the morning I mentioned to the office and the manager there just banned me from the hotel because I make a comment, so I was working in that area so I decided to give it another chance to book another room next night, so I called and do the reservation, they charged me and everything, so when I arrived to the hotel after 1 am tired from working all day and in an area that I didn't know, they told me I couldn't stay even when they charged me and make reservation, because I was banned just for mention the roaches , the worst experience I ever had in a hotel. Just because of that I would not ever book a motel 6 ever again, and on top of the cherry the manager who was the one who banned me was trying to change the story and told me she just lest a note but she didn't banned me. Please don't insult my inteligente, that's even worse, I had to go looking for a hotel in the middle of the night in an area that I didn't know, it was just a horrible night. Booked this very last minute without checking reviews. We ended up driving home and not staying here. While we were looking for our room after midnight, some crack head came out of a room and used the chair in the room to bust out the window. When we got to the front desk, she was outside digging in the ash tray. When we were leaving around 12:30am the cops were there. Overall there were people loitering at midnight, teenagers outside smoking weed and every staircase had someone sitting in it. We went in the room and it smelled stale like no one had been in there in weeks. Didn't smell clean or fresh a all. Spiderwebs covering the door and the beds just looked dirty. Wish I could get our money back because it was really the worst experience: and I notice management doesn't even reply to these reviews. read more

First off I would like to say the staff were all friendly, kind and quick. The room was clean and the air conditioning was super strong which was great. The clientele there was really janky. There was a couple fighting in the parking lot and the police were called for them and then the police came again for another reason. The water pressure in the shower was great though. Just a lot of foot traffic and people hanging out of their rooms. I wouldn't stay again but it was a clean room to hold us down for a few days. Also no mini fridge in room! read more

I'll be leaving 2 reviews. I'll be starting with the not so favorable one first. I had left my iPad in the room I booked and stayed in with my 2 young sons. One of them left the device under the mattress. So I called motel 6 and the woman I think her name was Elizabeth who was very helpful found the iPad under the mattress. I told her i could make it the following day to pick it up. She said she would leave it at the front desk and to give my name which she did. More on that in my good review I'll be leaving after this. I live in San Pedro so it's a bit of a drive to San Dimas. So I get to the motel the next morning with my kids and I speak to Andrea, pretty sure that's her name. I explained the situation as I did in this review and she asked if I had ID. I told her I did and she checks in the back for my property. She asks me what name it was under and i told her my name which is Brooke. I understand at first glance one would assume I was a woman. So she tells me she can't release the iPad to me and that "she" needs to come pick it up. I was confused. I told her that her coworker who I spoke to the day before said I was good to come pick the IPad up. She kept saying how her coworker messed up and shouldn't have done that. Meanwhile my kids 5 & 6 are being patient and this woman Andrea is making this situation much longer and unnecessary. The whole time she's making me feel like I'm doing something shady and underhanded. Then it dawned on me that she thought Brooke was a woman. So I pulled my license out and showed her who I was. Mind you upon arrival she asked me if I had ID but never asked to verify it. She made this situation which was already very fluid due to her coworker doing her the job the day before and made it unnecessarily difficult. Andrea then told me I have a woman's name so she assumed I was a woman. All of this could have been avoided very easily if she had asked to see my ID to confirm my identity. I told her instead of assuming she should have just asked to see that I was who I said I was. I'm not trying to get the woman fired but she definitely needs to brush up on her customer service big time. Outside of this experience mine and my kids stay here was great. I would never recommend this place!! First of all the springs are coming through the mattress and they have bedbugs!! My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights of hell.. My back hurts from the crappy mattress not to mention that I was eaten alive by the bedbugs!! Do yourself a favor and DON'T STAY THERE!! You will regret it!! read more

Motel six in San Dimas is the best motel sixI have Ever stayed at. Nathan was absolutely professional and uncompromisingly courteous my room was immaculate. I had no problems checking in and I had no problems checking out. I felt safe and there is a Denny's nearby where I could eat 24 hours a day. Well I did not eat for 24 hours ha ha ha but it was available to me, I know I only mentioned Nathan because he stood out a lot in a good way, but I must also say that the staff all of them have been very nice and professional. If you act like an adult, and you are considerate of others and if you understand how to behave and cooperate and live in harmony with other human beings. They reset keys daily, so expect to be locked out and walk back to office for new key. Absurd is that they tell you it is your fault because you kept it close to your phone BS. We had our reservation honored, no problems at all. Non -smoking, upstairs. And the room was nice and clean. We'd come in late, but there was no problem going to the lobby getting help and checking in. I felt bad for the fellow at the counter, the lady a head of us was so demanding and particular about the exact room, the exact parking spot, her dog being accommodated. Our bed sheets were covered with hair. Long, dark, curly hair, and short dark curly hair similar to body hair. Obviously disgusted, I called and asked for new sheets. I was told that the front desk doesn't have access to new sheets as it was late and he could switch my room. The room we were moved to had a strong stench of cigarette odor. We turned off the room air and opened the window. This wasn't the safest choice but the best for the situation. Aside from that there was only one towel, despite booking the room for t​wo. The water pressure was weak. The "queen" bed was actua​lly a full. I mentioned the hair, the cigarette smoke, and lack of towels at checkout. I was told I could get a discount if I stay with them another night. So, I didn't get what I paid for and your solution is for me to come back for you to resolve? I called to confirm my reservation and the front desk was rude and abrasive. When I checked in they were not friendly or inviting. When I was talking to another guest at the hotel a worker came up and asked me if I was with her. When I said no she was rude and embarrassed me. This place is run like a prisoner of war camp. Wow. This place has deteriorated badly. A few years ago, I might recommend but now...no way. There were people hanging out everywhere, and the exterior is dirty and in need of repair. The room is basic...but this is Motel 6 so you get what you pay for: basic room, flat pillows, creaky bed, no cold water in the sink, and the smell of regret. I'm only giving 2 Stars because it is Motel 6. We know not to expect too much from them. Maintenance is SHADY! Front desk was friendly and accommodating. I stayed in a smaller room for 4 days. Then someone checked into an adjoining room next to mine. They were pounding on the inside door. Trying to make my dog bark. I asked them many times to please stop. They were rude and thought it was funny. I called the front desk and I was offered a different room immediately. I was told it is easier to move me then to make someone stop being annoying. I am disabled so it took me a while to pack and get everything into another room. The room I moved to was much bigger. I stayed for a total of 1 1/2 weeks. It was an average of $109 a night which was ridiculous for what you're getting compared to other hotels in the same price range. My car broke down in May and because I'm high risk for COVID19 and was in quarantine I couldn't get it fixed. That is the only reason I stayed at this particular location for as long as I did. A friend of mine actually took me to this location because my parents live near by. My Mom was high risk for Covid and had to stay isolated. It was comforting knowing she was down the street. She passed away 2 months after my stay here. I hadn't seen her in a year when she passed but this location had me near by her. The security was SHADY too! The people that stay here...were ummm pretty awful. I stayed in my room and kept to myself. I kept the door locked. They let anyone park in front of your room and hang in their car all night with headlights shining in your window but I had security harassing me when I went to the laundry to get ice. The laundry room should be a little cooler in temperature. By the time I've falls out of the ice-machine and you get back into your room it's melted. Honestly, there is weird stuff going on all around this place. I had a conversation on the phone with a friend from high school. I was in the "privacy" of my room. In the morning when I took my dog out to go to the bathroom some crazy homeless looking guy was yelling from the second floor staircase repeating exact words from my friend and I. Maintenance was standing next to him and laughing. Then the crazy guy started yelling more things that we were talking about and then told me he raised better kids then me because both of his sons are in the military. How or why this guy new my conversation word for word when since I was little people's biggest complaint about me is I don't talk loud enough IS BEYOND ME CREEPY. The people above me the last couple of days were constantly sliding furniture around. I eventually called the front desk and complained because it had gone on day and night I was told it was housekeeping cleaning the room. Okay whatever!
