WARNING THIS HOTEL IS A RIP-OFF We stayed here overnight and they indicated it was Pet Friendly- never told us about a $25 per pet charge, making it a total of $50. We had to go pick up our pups making it a 4 hour length of time that my pups actually stayed in the hotel and they still ended up charging us the Pet Fee of $50, absolutely unacceptable. Also there are signs all over the hotel charging you for the use of everything, for example the use of luggage cart, or if you leave it in the hallways another charge or if you take it to your room another charge- all of these seem to be something that a hotel should provide as a friendly convenience and as a way to make an effort to have good customer service, and this hotel seems to be using all of these charges to gain a easy buck. We have never stayed at a Pet Friendly Hotel and had them charge. Also their customer service is very inadequate to say the least especially "Summer". Not in any way helpful or understanding. Absolutely terrible in more ways than one. Stay clear from this hotel. read more

We just stayed there for three nights (with our cats) after we were evacuated because of the wildfires. We were so pleasantly surprised! The room was clean, great TV, microwave, fridge and plenty of room. The front desk was so helpful with whatever we needed (my husband even bought a Sapporo from the front desk!) and very friendly. The shower had great pressure and was plenty hot - important to me! We were so glad that we were able to get a room and keep it until our evacuation was lifted. Caroline at Front Desk was unprofessional and unaccommodating when we called about a room change, as we felt unsafe on the first floor by the alley in the back. This place is gross. Dirty, busted tile, I don't know what the smell in my room is but it sure isn't disinfectant or cleaning supplies. It's like a sour, musty smell kinda like when your grandmother gets done in the bathroom. $100 deposit up front before even seeing the room should have been enough of a red flag. AC doesn't work for cr*p. TVs are all daisy-chained with Roku, classy. Water pressure in the shower is pretty decent if you can get the handle to not fall off and you tighten the shower head so it isn't spraying everywhere. Yeah, bump this. We're changing to something else tomorrow and I'll probably have to call MasterCard to get the charges reversed. Edit: air conditioner might not work very well but makes a ton of noise and vibrates the walls/headboard so that's fun. Also the hot tub is broken and green. Here's some pictures, enjoy. read more

I've stayed here plenty of times because it close to work I called to make a reservation and I was denied they said I smoked in the room absolutely not true, turned out to be a great thing we went to best western in san dimas got a suite for $15 more breakfast cooked to order and they don't lock the lobby doors at night so the crackheads don't come in ,very much nicer place. read more

Although the room was decent sized, this is a really stange hotel for $175 per night. Unfortunately Yelp won't let me post more room pics, but it didn't look very clean with a solied carpet and stained couch. The shower did appear fairly new, but why place a coffee maker next to the toilet when there is space out in the room above the microwave? The refrigerator was cool not cold. The bed seemed worn out. The breakfast room is still closed like other hotels during Covid, so you ask for a breakfast bag of juice, pastry and fruit. The hotel rooms have A/C but not the hallways. The small pool is fine for kids. The gym is very small and unsanitary. After making a reservation I received a text confriming there is a $100 cash deposit. At check in I handed a $100 bill and the clerk (owner?) asked if I wanted a receipt. Yes, please since I've never paid a cash deposit in North America, Europe or Asia. At check out he asked if I needed a receipt for the room, and I kindly reminded him of my $100 deposit. He ran around back and gave it. There appeared to be an issues with another guest and the older clerk (owner) yelled at the younger man in front of us 3 families trying to check out. Location is okay, we stayed 2 nights, but I don't think we'd stay again. Really needs deep cleaning and pause to smile and offer friendly service. Not worth $175 and should not qualify as a BW+. read more

Don't stay here they will try and scam U and take your deposit money . Tried getting my deposit in the morning , the lady at the front desk walked so slow to the room I stayed in . Came back and said one of the hand towels was missing And she was going to charge $25 for a nasty itchy tiny towel that I didn't take ! The employees were very helpful and accommodating and I love the location of this hotel, it's within walking distance of downtown Glendora. We stay here a few times year to visit with friends who live in Glendora. Overall cleanliness has always been great. Kudos again to the staff! My only recommendations are: 1.)clean up the outside grounds, the same debris has been around the building for over a year. Makes it look a little sketchy when you arrive. 2.)update and repair the entry, the floor is cracked and the furniture is worn and torn. It would be a great place to sit and talk and have coffee in the mornings, I'm just afraid to sit on the furniture. read more

They moved us, but into a room next to the elevator which was loud and could be heard all night long. The breakfast was disgusting. The hotel was clean, beds were comfy, slept well. Free breakfast was not worth the time, no water served- not even when we asked for it- only $5 bottles in the lobby, so plan to bring your own. However the service was outstanding so Im giving them 4 stars. I left my makeup bag in the bathroom and called the day after checkout, as soon as I got home and realize what I had left behind. Went back and forth and decided to cancel the booking. Online site was kind enough to not charge us for the cancelation because of this lady. Ended up booking at another Best Western 10 minutes away and they were so accommodating. Service there was like day and night. We felt so welcome there and extended my family's stay. We stayed here on a recent trip West to visit family. We were looking for an AirBnb but couldn't find anything pricewise we wanted (AirBnb feels like prices have shot way up, don't get me started). So we settled for Best Western. For what we needed you can't beat the location. Just north of the 210 at Grand Ave, pretty good option for inland Empire. It is a very safe area for those not familiar with Glendora. Was recent remodeled with ridiculously high ceilings. Only two stories at this hotel. Breakfast was complimentary and located in a retrofitted conference room. Good enough for me. The mattress in our room was awful. After the first night wife and I thought it was just from travelling all day but nope. Nights 2 and 3 were no better and we both felt set in concrete. We would stay again but it was just OK. read more

He went out of his way to work with me on issues that caused other hotels to not rent me the room. But do not stay here it's dirty and HOT the air isn't working in room 115 the beds are so uncomfortable and the pillows are hard decorative pillows. The TV isn't working correctly. Showed up on a Monday night at around 9:45pm without a reservation. No problem, as they had a room for me. Check-in took all of about ten minutes, and the guy behind the desk not only clearly explained the room charges, but also wrote them down on a sheet of paper for me. $149, plus tax and the hotel tax, plus a $100 security deposit to cover any damages. He asked if I had AAA, I did and he took a photocopy of the card which got me ten dollars off the room. My room had a single king bed, a hide-a-bed couch, desk and chair, HDTV, and plenty of closet space. It was completely immaculate. In the closet were the iron and ironing board, the hangers that do you no good if you steal them, an extra blanket and extra pillows. The bed was very firm but I slept all night. The bathroom had some rather nice shampoos and soaps, and it too was spotless. Rather high ceiling in the bathroom, so the mirror didn't fog up too much. Tons of hot water and great water pressure. Be careful, though, as the hot water by itself is really hot. Only downside was the A/C. It has a setting that keeps the fan on, even if the A/C or heater are not running, but the fan would not run by itself. The room was a bit stuffy when I walked in, and just as I was about to go to the front desk to say the A/C wasn't working, it finally kicked on. Seems like it took about ten minutes from the time I turned on the A/C to it finally coming on. No issues after that, however it would've been nice to have the fan run all night. Breakfast is served I think he said between 6am to 9am. I didn't go check it out, because I didn't roll out of bed until almost 9am. Free WiFi, and they write the password down for you. read more

Horrible customer service. Stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend to visit family. When we arrived at 7 pm the door was locked and no one was at the front count counter. We had to bang on the door to have someone come check us in. Upon check in I was told there would be a $15 per night "up grade" charge since I pre paid online with a digital card. I called BW corporate and was told this charge was against policy. Corporate called the front desk with us there and told them the same, the charge was bogus. The next day I received a very poorly drafted email from the manager stating I would be charged the $15 upon check out. When we checked out 3 days later there was a $15 a day charge HAND WRITTEN on my printed out receipt. I disputed the charge with my CC and got my $$$ back. This place will try to hustle you out of some money if you let them. read more

I didn't know Best Westerns could be so legit! I was sharing a room with 3 other people, but there was still tons of space! The bathroom was huge! Everything was clean, and we had a microwave, fridge, and hi def TV with some good channel selection. Everything outside the room was spotless, and the front desk attendant was all smiles. I really enjoyed my stay. *But*...I have to ding you a star for letting breakfast get cold two days in a row. No one likes room temperature french toast and bacon! :-( read more

This was a really bad experience, from the moment I walked in and had to wait 45 mins to get checked in. Ricky at the front desk didn't know what he was doing but blamed the computer. Do not stay at this hotel. We have been staying here throughout our daughter's 4 years at Azusa. The staff is kind but it does not make up for the hotels inflexibility in cancellation or rebooking policies. They have no loyalty to rewards members or repeated customers. The walls are thin and there is a high noise disturbance heard throughout the hotel. Hope this helps. read more

Worst experience ever! My partner and I stayed here because we travel for his job and expected it to be a nice experience but it was far from that. Upon checking out I called the front desk to receive a late check out to accommodate my flight time, the front desk clerk "George" denied my request which was different because I never had a late check out denied. So my partner and I rushed to gather our things to leave, but at exactly 1 minute after check out time we received a call to our room phone and it was front desk clerk "George" telling us we were late checking out. I could not believe this never in my life have I received a call saying I was late checking out, we rushed out in shock, I went out to load my stuff in the Uber, then went back in to retrieve my cash deposit, at this point it was about 11:07am 7 minutes after check out and "George"was walking back to the front desk apparently from checking our room because the first thing he said was he checked our room and it smelled like smoke, which is impossible because neither of us smoke and we didn't smell smoke while we stayed the night there. I told him that's not possible because neither one of us smoke, then he said yeah right, that's why our window was left open, i informed him we kept the window open our entire stay because we're from the desert, Las Vegas and we're used to 110 plus weather and we enjoy the Cali weather. He then said he knows we smoke but he's going to give me the deposit back. I couldn't believe all these accusations which were far from true and I was so embarrassed to be treated this way, I requested a supervisor but he said she was off for the next two weeks. Maybe it was because of skin color or maybe because we are a same sex couple but not too sure why he didn't like us but he definitely had an issue with us which is unknown, I'd never stay here again and he makes a bad name for the company. read more

Thin walls. I could hear the elevator from my bed. And then they also decided to do construction in the room next to mine at 8am. The thin walls did nothing to hide the sound. The mattress is very firm, and they have four thick, square cushions as pillows. The room heater would rumble like a Diesel engine at night. Wow! Never never have I been treated so rude! Booked my room on booking.com. I've always done it this way never have I had a problem but for some reason this one room this one hotel gave me one. As soon as I walked up and said hi I knew I was going to have a problem the front desk woman "Summer" didn't look at me in the eyes when she spoke didn't greet me I gave her my first and last name she said I do not have a room there try to show her my phone that I got it off of booking.com and she didn't even want to take it she refused to look at my phone. She told me even though I have a confirmation number she can't do anything if it's not in her computer I agree with that. I tried calling booking they were busy so an hour later I ended up getting a hold of them they called her and all of a sudden she just got my information it just popped up in the computer. I always book the room with my husbands card always and I've never had a problem. She said that I cannot do that that my husband would have to physically come and show his drivers license that was fine no big deal. When I said OK that's fine no big deal she asked if he was going to be staying with me I said no. She said nope I cannot give you the room unless he staying here with you. Again I've never had this problem. Contacted booking said I wanted a refund but unfortunately if I canceled I would be charged $141 so it was up to her to not charge me. Thank goodness she didn't charge me she refunded me the money while she was on the phone with booking.com agent giggling and yawning. I am writing this review while I am setting in my room , I have been in this hotel since Monday and it is Thursday now , they haven't changed the sheets not even one time (one sheet has a stain and is still on my bed) , they only reorganized the beds , although I requested this before I left to the beach this morning . After we arrived 30 minuets ago I found out that they didn't leave us any towels , they didn't clean the bathroom, they didn't vacuum the room , the didn't leave us any toilet paper and the only thing that they did was reorganize the beds with the same sheets . Rachel the night front desk girl saw the room and was nice enough to give us some towels and toilet paper. This is my second time to stay at this hotel but would be my last for me , my family and all my friends , worst experience for the money we paid. read more

8/21/21 - i laid on the bed and within 15 minutes i noticed a bug next to me. i killed it and didn't think much of it until in the morning after showering i went back into the room and saw on top of one of the queen beds that wasn't used 3 bed bugs crawling on top of the bed. i then looked at the bed that i was on and saw another bed bug on that one. At that point i looked at my sheets and saw blood on the sheets so i knew i got bit. I took a picture for evidence. I told the front desk person and although he was apologetic, they did nothing else. I called them today to let them know once again that this happened and they said they would call me back and have not heard back from them. UPDATE: they fully refunded me. They said that the housekeeper could not find any bedbugs even though i saw several but they said that they will clean the room and leave it unused for several days. read more

Great little hotel! I saw a lot of people mention the beds are firm: that's true. However, I prefer that. I love firm mattress, and I was happy to find that they are indeed on the harder side. Check in was easy. Price is extremely reasonable. No pets. The parking lot was well lit, which is super nice. The shower was great! And as far as cleanliness goes: it was top notch. I know this sounds strange: but the toilet is short. Absolutely perfect for a toddler! We are potty training and the short toilet made it so easy! The bathtub plug looks as if it's not closed if you use it for a bath, but just turn on the water and see - I thought it wasn't closing properly, but it was. It just looked weird. Breakfast was good for a hotel! My picky child loved that they had blueberry muffins, cereal, and pancakes. Made my morning much easier! Over all, when we come back to visit family we will most kill be re-booking here. The only thing that would make it all more convenient is if they allowed pets. read more

I was in Glendora for a wedding one weekend and camped out at the Glendora Best Western. Now, I don't know about you but when someone says "lounging in the lap of luxury", with all due respect, my first thought isn't "the Glendora Best Western!". But maybe it should be-- my stay here was great, albeit a bit too short. Don't let the building's exterior fool you-- it looks pretty run of the mill, on hotel standards. But the room is what's most important: our bed was huge and plush, no mysterious sheet stains (gewww) no funky smells in the room (that's the worst), there was a fridge on deck and the bathrooms were spotless. Concierge staff was cheery and helpful. While the surrounding area isn't all too exciting, drive a bit further out and you're in the mountains! Good times. read more

I stayed at the Best Western Route 66 Glendora Inn for a few days, recently, while in the area for a family reunion. The rooms were very clean, equipped with LCD tv's, microwaves, and fridges. All the members of the front desk staff I came across were friendly and helpful when we approached them with questions. The noise level of the hotel is great - there were no problems with other hotel occupants being loud or disruptive. The complimentary breakfast was good, as well - complete with cereals, oatmeal, breads, waffles, eggs, french toast, bacon, fruit, and of course, juices and coffee. The fitness room was nice perk. It has an elliptical, a treadmill, stationary bike, each with a flat-panel tv to watch and pass the time while working out. As well, there was a free weight machine. Outside, there is a swimming pool and hot tub, which are perfect for the So Cal weather. Overall, the upkeep of this hotel is great. I'm sure I'll stay there again, when I return to the area. read more

The furnishings, the maintenance and the lobby are all worse than ever but the price hasn't changed. Noisy fan in the hallway, chais for sale on the lobby, noisy neighbors. Service was was not bad. This was our first overnight stop on our eastbound Route 66 trip. Everything was fine and typical of BW, but could not help notice the cost of a room here was twice as much as the 5 other BW locations we stayed at across the country. Being from CA, it was an eye opener to see how much more things cost here compared to other parts of US. That said, the room was nice, breakfast was good and staff was friendly. read more
