The theater is open seating, so get there early. This is a small theater, which guarantees no bad seats. And they are modern, cushy, comfortable seats! Concessions--craft beer, wine, soft drinks, popcorn and candy--are available in the lobby and can be enjoyed during the performances. Make it a point to attend an event here. I drive an hour from Butte to see Jesus Christ Superstar (phenomenal) and it was worth it. Take advantage of this great treasure and support your local arts community.

This old church-turned-community-theater is everything about a small town summed up in a neat…read morelittle building. I was visiting from out of town, but observed that many of the attendees appeared to be frequent guests, and most everyone knew each other. My friend and I arrived a bit early and the staff were AMAZING to chat with us and tell us about some of the history of the place, the programs that they offer and some of the shows they are doing. They were so friendly and welcoming. The theater itself is small and cozy, but the chairs were surprisingly comfortable. The décor and the show itself were OUTSTANDING! We saw Bright Star, and I was blown away by the talent of the cast. My only regret is that I live so far away that I won't make it back to see all the rest of the shows in the season.

She was given all the time and freedom she needed to inspect everything. We mutually agreed on prices then made and signed an agreement. The pick up was a disaster and we wasted our entire day. When the stuff got back to her consignment shop, she then decided many items were not to her liking and began returning them to our house as well as modifying agreed prices. Long story short, cops had to be called and we had to take stuff back even though she signed the agreement. It was a horrible experience.

I'm glad that I was properly warned; had I been looking for a family friendly show, I would have been disappointed. What I did find, however, was an adult themed, hilarious variety show. There was music, dancing, jokes, impersonations and audience participation (willing or not!) If you don't want to become a part of the show, avoid sitting on the front row. Some of the actors were very talented-I'd love to hear the lady who sang opera do more! She's outstanding. And the guy who did the impressions was fabulous.

I loved this place. Walked in, and it was only the owner and his friend. I think they were surprised to have someone in the bar they had never seen before, but they quickly cleaned up the bar top, smiled, and grabbed us some beers. Both guys were super friendly, and I loved hearing about the history of the bar and Butte. Walk under the welcoming hanging sing, through the front door, and the bar is immediately left. There was a couch, jukebox, and musical instruments on the right. No tables or anything like that, but again maybe COVID. The Dollar reminds me of a place where most activity happens at the bar anyway. The bar has an old school wooden tap with a medium rail. Below there is a box footrest that sits under the round padded bar stools. The highlight of the bar, though, is the beautiful back bar. It has a large arch and intricate woodwork. A little messy right now, but the bottle shelves still stand out with the red lighting. Opposite the bar, old photos and artwork are displayed against the brick wall. The floor is a little torn up, but I'm not there for the floor; I'm there for the conversation and beer. I'm not sure I'll ever have a reason to return to Butte, but I hope the Silver Dollar Saloon is still serving if I do.
