Stayed on 4th floor, 2 queen room. Pros: Staff!!! Thank you Mariah and others for your smiles and help. large room and bathroom/shower. Comfy beds, safe hotel, breakfast had steel cut oat meal which was delicious!! Laundry facility with one washer and one dryer. So appreciated doing laundry. Cons: for such a beautiful and clean place, all the luggage carriers were dirty. Washer and dryer look liked they had never been clean so I hesitated to use them. The lint catcher would not set all the way in its place. Looked to be packed with lint. Fire hazard possibly. The coffee at the breakfast area did not taste good, kinda bland. No regular sugar either. All and all this is a great place with a few issues we can overlook if we stayed again. This is truly a nice clean place. I would feel safe here if I traveled alone. read more

The only reason that we weren't 100% satisfied was their alarm... they didn't reset the alarm before we came so it went off at 4 in the morning, we couldn't stop it even after we unplugged it so we didn't sleep well at all but other than that the room is really comfy and cozy. This hotel is bright and clean, it has 24 hours pools, 24 hours fitness room, free breakfast, computers and printers. The fitness room has many different equipment, it's clean and even provided water, headphones, towels and cleaning clothes. The pool is clean and organized, I thought it was really thoughtful that they provided some pool toys for the kiddos! They have a great selection of good quality breakfast! All I can say is WOW! It's so nice to be in Montana, a state that still believes in FREEDOM, and that we can set off exploding fireworks this July 4th weekend, and this hotel is the perfect spot as a base for enjoying the culture here! First off, everyone has been very helpful, and with my large family I've been to the desk or on the phone with them a bunch of times in the several days we've been here so far. The star here, in my opinion however, is Cynthia! She works in the PMs and is literally THE most helpful and welcoming hotel employee that has helped me with numerous needs, questions, and other things I've bothered her about at all hours of the day and night! Management, she deserves a raise! Not to leave out the other very courteous hotel staff, they were all helpful but I don't know their names and I dealt mostly with Cynthia. Also, the hotel was immaculate, the breakfasts were HOT, and large, even with Covid nonsense, and the pool and spa were open and SO NICE! The room had TWO large flatscreens, in semi different rooms so the kids could fall asleep with the TV without bother us much. Very very nice! Bravo! Thanks Cynthia and Fairfield in and suites! We first met Gerri (sp) when we checked in. Had a big smile when greeting us. You could tell she really liked her job. We had a few questions with regards to places to see. She was prepared and gave us the necessary info. Our room was outstanding. We were upgraded as we are Marriott members. We met another team member Dana. Very friendly and we talked about our travels that day. The next morning we met Darlene who also was very efficient at making sure the breakfast items were always filled. Darlene stopped by while we ate breakfast to say good morning. That was really good. We've stayed at many Marriott's over the years. These ladies made our stay so much more enjoyable. Thank you ladies. Now let me tell you about the hotel. All open areas were spotless. Carpets looked new. Nice to see unstained carpet and floors. House cleaning crew said hi with a smile. The only things can say I that I found wrong was one of the tv remotes didn't work. In all our travels this hotel rates top 5 that I've ever stayed at. I heard the cleaning crew talking among themselves while cleaning the rooms and working as a team helping each other with supplies. Great to see that. Great job y'all read more

We were in town for a football game. We decided to stay overnight and drove to find a hotel. Our son chose to stay here, thankfully there were vacancies. Prior to arriving at the hotel, I had fallen and while checking in I asked if they happened to have bandaids so I could clean myself up, she obliged. Check in was quick and easy. Luckily we got a room overlooking our vehicle. When we arrived in our room, it was cool temperature wise and we were exhausted. I set everything out for the morning before heading to bed. When we awoke the next morning, we got ready and I called the front desk at 950am to ask what time their continental breakfast ended and she said 10am. We hurried down and ate a variety of things that included make your own waffles, Canadian bacon, eggs, apple juice, orange juice, banana, egg omelet, etc... Their staff mentioned that most everything went in the first 30 minutes of them opening for the day. We thanked them for making the breakfast for us that morning and told them how much we appreciate their efforts and they were humble and thankful for us noticing all their hard work. We could tell that they take pride in their work because they spoke with and checked on their guests. They communicated with guests when they would be closing. We could hear the TV from the room next door. There was drag racing on one of the nearby streets that was pretty loud. Check out was quick and easy. Ample free parking. read more

A below average Fairfield. Bones are a little dated and need some love. (E.g., bathroom toilet was leaking on floor.). Pool was nice but not maintained, no towels, garbage laying around at 7 am. I would look elsewhere for lodging in area. read more

Stayed one night on a trip from San Diego to Bigfork. While the room was not nearly as nice as the stay last night at the Residence Inn in Provo, it was still very comfortable. Bureau on which the TV stands could've used a dusting. The most pleasant part of the stay was the morning breakfast. The Covid modified service was above average compared to recent stays. The staff was super friendly and served a good variety of hot items for you, buffet style. Several restaurants within walking distance. read more

The property is nice but the front desk manager was anything but hospitable. I asked for a first floor room if possible since I have a lot of items to lug this trip. and the clerk said they had one and no problem. But she didn't know how to do it so she ask her supervisor who said " it's too much trouble at this point" no other explanation and pretty snotty. STAFF DOESN'T WASH THEIR HANDS AFTER USING THE BATHROOM! I was there on Saturday, July 25, and I used the bathroom in the lobby around 6pm and while I'm in a stall, a female staff member comes in and uses the stall next to me... and then leaves without washing her hands! YUCK. I could see her black uniform and saw her afterwards, I believe she is a maid, so this woman is touching the "clean" bedsheets and your pillow....with unwashed bathroom hands! We had a 5 star stay at Fairfleld Inn in Kamloops BC, so booked at Butte MT. The hotel seem not as clean as the Kamloops location. Husband found hair on the bathroom floor and cleaned it himself. None of the wastebaskets had plastic liners. The shelf next to the closet had not been wiped clean. When i told the night front desk clerk, she quickly took note of the bathroom, but said none of the wastebaskets get plastic liners (gross!).I suggest the rooms be inspected after the maid cleans the rooms and the lobby carpet lacked clean luster. But I will give Fairfield another try in the future, they have a great concept. Love the guest laundry, breakfast, wifi, room, bed, and layout. read more

Overall had a positive stay here. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was good with many options, and room was spacious and clean. The two things I didn't love were the closed pool and the WiFi. They have smart TVs--which is a plus--but when I signed into my Netflix account, the tv kept having issues maintaining the connection. I would watch a minute or two of low-quality video, then the connection would interrupt with an error message that said "We're having trouble playing this right now". I was able to usually maintain the connection through my laptop though, so maybe the issue was in their TVs. Either way, not a dealbreaker, just something I hope is fixed next time I'm here! read more

Excellent! The staff rescued us from a horrible hote in Butte. We explained our situation that we were NOT comfortable at a different hotel in town. We we're upgraded to a lovely room near the elevator as my husband was on crutches. The breakfast was extraordinary and we were even offered a "to go" bag. read more

VERY nice!! The room and bathroom were very clean. The shower was so cool. Beds were comfortable. It was a very nice set up. The lady at the front desk I believe her name was Gerry(?) was awesome. Very welcoming. Great with conversation and a great sense of humor. My friend and I felt like she was a friend of ours by the time we were finished at the desk. I just didn't like that there weren't as many breakfast options. read more

Someone above us was stomping around for an hour while we were going to sleep. Incredibly annoying. You can hear your neighbors TV through the wall. Worst part: right outside our window was a super bright building light that we could not close the shades all the way to block the light. This place looks as though it has had a recent makeover and the modern decor give a GREAT first impression. The little store area is handy and cute. The pool room was clean, of course very strong chlorine in the water, but I get that. Work out room with towels and water filter- nice touch. The rooms were nice, a little damage already visible in the carpet, but overall seemed in good repair. The breakfast selection was HUGE. I didn't like the sausage or ham option, but making great breakfast meat is tough in a hotel situation. I wish they would have had mugs for coffee, but appreciated the to-go cups. The staff were friendly, even if some of the amenities seemed neglected - no water in the dispenser at the front desk, no towels in the pool area, and then 'restocked' with five... not very many when six people are in the the pool and it's a busy night. Would totally stay here again, nice spot for kids. read more

I appreciate the hotel social distancing. However, I don't think it is an excuse to drop Marriott standards. They offered a to-go style breakfast that was inedible. It was a small frozen burrito that couldn't be customized (we have a vegetarian in our family and it had meat in it and I can't eat gluten or dairy). Even those in the family who could eat it threw it away because it was hard and gross. That was the only option besides a banana or orange or an oatmeal packet. Juice was in a tiny aluminum can. My kids honestly would have preferred cereal or a pastry. Front desk staff was also rude. Disappointed as we usually ha e good experiences at Marriott properties. read more

The Fairfield Inn was recently renovated and is very nice inside. The beds were comfy and the pillows supportive. The bathroom was nicely remodeled with tile and granite and the soaps and shampoos were higher-end. The breakfast buffet had a lot to offer compared to most hotels in this category. The only criticism I have is the entertainment news playing in the breakfast area. Turn off the tv! Otherwise, very pleasant stay. read more

We were caught in a winter storm, forcing us to stop in Butte. The evening front desk clerk was wonderful! She made sure we had everything we needed. Checked on road reports for us too. The pool was warm and relaxing, spa was hot and perfect after a long day of travel. Hotel itself was clean, quiet and up to date. Breakfast had everything we needed!
