Bathroom sink is outside the bathroom. Love the paint colors throughout!

Soooooo cute! Antique building with refurbished rooms that are fresh and stylish and delightful - and every room is different! The price was right, too: $242 (total price, all taxes included) for one night a few days away from July 4, when I reserved VERY last-minute. I snagged the room through Expedia - other, much less delightful places were going for up to $500 a night: ack! Sweet, personable, friendly service. Excellent location. Free parking. Super smelly-good lotions and potions in the room. High shower head for tall people! Super comfy bed. We loved everything about this place!

Needed a place to stay and this was a last minute decision. Awesome place. We stayed in "The Vault Room". Literally our room is an old Bank vault converted into a room. This hotel was an old bank back in the days. The room and place is clean. There Hand soap, shampoo and conditioner are all handmade and smell great. Very friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

The hotel was a little hard to find, but once inside it was amazing. Just recently renovated, this old miner hotel is a great blast into the past. We were warmly welcomed and kindly shown around. Apart of the room package is a history tour of their mini museum downstairs (where the old bank used to be). The rooms themselves were comfortable and the showers were extremely spacious with beautiful tile finishes. The rooms were very clean and fun to stay in. The hotel had cable and wifi for their guests with enough heat for the cold spring. The location is right downtown in Butte's historic district making it easy to walk to the many restaurants and bars. Definitely a place to stay if you're rolling through Butte!

We stayed in the Vault Room, very quiet with the bed in a literal vault and a separate bath and reading area.

Great place! The…read morerooms were very clean (though they could probably use some updating). The hotel staff were all extremely helpful and welcoming. The free hot breakfast is quite good. It's got everything you'd want - eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, cereal, toast, waffles, juices, fruit, I could go on and on. Literally the only thing I could complain about was that the water pressure to the bathroom sink was incredibly weak - it was hard to really wash your hands thoroughly. But I guess this was balanced out by the water pressure in the shower, which was probably as strong as a prison hose shower (not that I'd know from experience....) Plus it's right on Harrison so it's close to any store or fast food place you could ever want. Would definitely stay here again!

Decent room, or so we thought. We went to take a shower before going to bed and found used soap and…read moresoap wrappers in the shower. Gross! We have a therapy dog (a real one) and they still charged us an extra $15 for her. I'll have to take this up with Best Western main offices as it is against Federal Law to charge for a service animal with documentation. The blinds in the room (blackout) worked so well that they wouldn't go up. They are on a remote control (no manual controls) and it was not working. It's a non smoking hotel and there was a TON of cigarette smoke in the hallway to our room. On the good side: we requested a room on bottom floor near an exit. This was provided. The front desk personnel were pleasant, although when asking for a steakhouse recommendation, stated they were not permitted to recommend anything except the pancake house attached. The bed was comfortable and the shower was roomy.

I rarely write bad reviews. I am optimistic and try to see the good in things. But this place is…read morejust BAD. We were on a long Montana trip and ended up needing to spend the night in Butte. I didn't expect a lot from a Ramada but Whyndham is decent, right? They are considered a step up from a pure budget motel, right? Wrong. From the moment we checked in, I complete regretted choosing this place. It was late and we just wanted to get our kids to bed yet the front desk person demanded IDs from me AND my wife. They then photocopied them and put them in a box on the desk and said they will keep them for 3 years. What in the world? I have NEVER had a hotel do that. They're worried about guests taking something from the room or damaging them somehow. Guess what? There is literally NOTHING worth taking in any of these rooms. And they already look like they are damaged! The entire hotel is extremely run down, dilapidated, grungy. The hallways are dark, musty. Garbage cans are overflowing with trash. If you know what 'The Backrooms' are, well, this is it! The bedrooms are sparse, which is fine but the beds, towels, everything, are just old and tired. The mattress was the old school spring type with worn out springs. Absolutely the worst mattress I have slept on in many years. Surprisingly, it wasn't as terrible as I thought it was going to be. Luckily, we were all tired enough from our long day driving that we slept ok, though I was worried about my truck getting broken into in the sketchy parking lot. It was fine. They offer free breakfast but we had absolutely no desire to eat at this place and got up early and got the heck out of there. I went to the front desk and requested that they turn over the copies of our drivers licenses that they were keeping in a flimsy, unlocked plastic box on the front desk. The front desk attendant told me this is a Montana law and all hotels do it (baloney!) but after I insisted, reluctantly handed them over. I absolutely do not recommend anyone ever stay here. I also most likely will never stay at a Ramada or maybe even any hotel under the Wyndham brand after this experience. How in the world Wyndham corporate lets this dirty dive bear the Wyndham name is beyond me. Yes, it was that bad. If you find yourself in Butte, Montana, stay anywhere but here. I didn't take many photos of this place but you can check out the couple I snapped of the inside of the room with the wallpaper peeling off the wall. That should give you an idea :|

Roadtrip from Yellowstone to Glacier brought us through Butte. Had to find lodging for the night…read moreand found this place right off the highway. Pulled in to see if they had vacancy and got amazing customer service from the desk clerk. She gave us 2 adjoining double queen rooms for under $100/ each. *The only "negative" of this room is that all adjoining rooms are on the first floor (love the 1st floor), BUT all 1st floor rooms can have pets. Good thing we didn't have any issues with finding pet hair or dander allergies. Speaks about their cleanliness!** Loved the price, loved the rooms. I want this kind of room every time. No carpet, luxury vinyl. Loved the modern upgraded fixtures in the room. USB charging station on the nightstand. Loved the sink outside the bathroom. The shower had hot water and good pressure. The bed was comfortable. And finally, after 4 nights in hotels, FULL (and firm!) SIZED PILLOWS. And there were 3 of them all for me! I was over the half sized feather/ fluffy pillows so far. We checked in early enough in the evening that I took advantage of their laundry services. I inquired at the front desk about this service and was gifted 2 Tide pods. They were left behind from a previous guest for others to use. Thank you to whoever you are! I found my way to the 2nd floor with $3 in quarters ($1 wash, $2 dryer). I spend approximately 1 hour sitting in the hallway with a puzzle book, trying to stay out of the way of a fellow hotelmates. So happy to get clean clothes at the halfway mark of our roadtrip. They also offer a HOT breakfast in the morning. It was also the ONLY place we got a hot breakfast included in our stay. Thank you very much. I witnessed a front desk staffer (manager?) make scrambled eggs on an electric skillet in their admin office, just steps away from the breakfast room. There was also hot sausage links, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, milk, coffee, juice. All yummy. By the time we were done eating at 8:30, all the tables were full of people. Overall, this place hit it out of the park. I would definitely stay here again if visiting the area in the future.

This hotel is under the I15 overpass which is very noisy. It is an old and tired building that is dirty from the lobby to the rooms. The bathroom is part of the actual room. The furnishings are crap. There were remnants of dead bedbugs everywhere. We prepaid for a week but left after the first night even though we would not receive ANY refund. Booked another great hotel in Butte and put this NIGHTMARE behind us. We will NEVER stay at a Wyndham property again! STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE and NEVER book through a third party. It's a rip off!!!!
