When my Maytag washing machine quit working today, on a Saturday afternoon, with a wet load of laundry stuck inside it, I called him and left a message, and he returned my call within 20 minutes. He was at my home within 1.5 hours, and had my washing machine working again in less than 45 minutes. He figured out that the problem affecting my washing machine was directly related to the low water pressure in my condo unit. Thanks to him figuring this out, I'm going to contact my landlady and get the issue fixed right away. I wouldn't hesitate to call Mike Nohel again for an appliance repair. After calling company everything communicated was via text msg including our address. We were contacted yesterday stating they would be here between 8am and 12 pm today. Received another text this am stating they were going to be here between 8am and 9am. Service tech never showed up- I contacted them when I got a $195 travel bill. Sarah said they would be here soon. Moral of the story - I contacted them multiple times and again at 2:30pm to tell them we were still waiting. Sarah stated she made a mistake and put in the wrong address. The wrong address was happy because they needed their refrigerator fixed which their service guy decided to do. She stated they would charge us 1/2 the charge and would schedule us for next week. I don't know how this company can stay in business.

I've done the hard research for you. The part easily could have been ordered directly from the manufacturer, but unfortunately, the manufacturers customer service department was impossible to deal with, which forced my hand to find someone local. This particular part absolutely is something I could have done without a repair person but here we are. Yelp has a project feature, so if you haven't used it before it definitely is a tool that works. You search for the service that you need, and what needs to be done, answer a couple of very easy, quick questions, and then click the button for estimates. Next thing you know, you'll be receiving text messages, phone calls, and all of a sudden you were going to be everyone's best friend. Depending on the service that you need, this will either be incredibly helpful, or make you feel overwhelmed. Needless to say, after speaking with more than a half a dozen appliance repair companies, and being put through the ringer and bombarded with phone calls and pushy people either demanding I'm making an immediate appointment, or refusing just to have a conversation with me, I decided on Top 1 Appliance. Here's why: They were absolutely the most reasonably priced for the service call and the work that needed to be done. They were not pushy on any level, and that made a huge difference. They were willing to come out the same day if I had time at no additional charge, or my case found another day that works for both of us. I knew this would be an easy and quick repair, and less than 20 minutes, the repair was made, and the repair tech was paid and on his way to his next job. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was that I had wanted the old parts left, and the tech wasn't willing to do that which did not make sense. Top 1 is incredibly easy to deal with, and I should also add that they reached out to me before the repair, they simply asked if I had found someone or if I still wanted their help. He explained that, as an authorized Samsung repair company, they have to pay licensing fees to Samsung and continuously stay up to date on Samsung's ever-changing technology and repair procedures. That level of specialized training is something many other repair companies don't invest in. In fact, before finding them, I contacted several appliance repair companies, and every one of them told me they worked on every brand except Samsung. That alone speaks volumes about the expertise this company offers. Not only did they repair my Samsung refrigerator's ice maker, but they also fixed my Samsung dryer, which had stopped drying properly. Replaced our "craft" ice maker, showed us how to turn it on & off and explained the trouble we were having and set clear expectations moving forward. ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL. FIRST AMERICAN WARRANTY....NOT SO MUCH. initially they assigned us another appliance repair company (their name escapes me at this time) and when I did just 20 min of research found out on the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAUs website that they were "COMPLETELY ROTTEN". Those were the exact words they used in describing that company. I had to DEMAND to speak with a manager before FAW assigned me someone else. Peter from Appliance Worx arrived, listened to us, diagnosed the problem and amazingly had the replacement "CRAFT ICE MAKER" on his truck. Replaced it.....and the whole visit took maybe 40 min.
