I was desperate to find someone to come and fix our AC unit. The forecast was going to be 110F and I'm 9 months pregnant...not the best combination. I must've called 5 companies before and all couldn't come till 2 days later. I wasn't even about to suffer another day in this horrible heat. Dan was polite, prompt, honest, and good at what he does. He fixed our unit and is now blowing cold air more than ever. We had another guy come a couple months ago who got it working but wasn't blowing enough cold air and with the consistent high heat the unit couldn't keep up. Dan diagnosed the problem very quickly and implemented the right solution. Me and baby are now comfortable and happy thanks to West Coast Air! Edited 9/30/13 I had to take the stars down to three because our AC unit wasn't fixed at all by West Coast Air Conditioning. It took him three visit and Dan still couldn't figure it out. He didn't charge me for the additional visits and for a small part of the unit he replaced, but it was hard getting a hold of him at times to schedule a service, and told he he was going to have to charge me again if he came back the fourth time. So I decided to call another company that was recommended by a friend, and they were able to figure out what was wrong with our unit right away. See my other reviews... Amazing Crew! I got four bids for a complete 3-ton heating/AC system replacement for our home in Ventura. Ben from West Coast came and looked at the site on Tuesday,11/21; I received West Coast's bid on Wednesday, 11/22 (the day before Thanksgiving); Jake came out Monday, 11/27, to measure; the Crew came out Tuesday, 11/28, for day 1 of install; and all work completed and system tested, Wednesday, 11/29 (day 2 of install). The Crew worked seamlessly and expertly in the attic, crawl space, outside for the compressor and inside for the air handler, with full attention to details. All new ducts and cold air return were installed. The day 2 Crew of Adam, Aaron, Frank and Sal finished up, tested the system thoroughly and cleaned up all materials. If you are considering a heating system upgrade or replacement, I'd say West Coast should be at the top of your list! Thanks to the entire staff. read more

He arrived promptly, was clean, polite and was happy to accommodate me as I attended to my 98 year old mother while he was here. We woke up this morning and to our horror discovered our AC unit was not working! Knowing the next two days were going to be in the triple digits we knew we had to find someone ASAP to find out what was wrong. We called a couple places...one told us they could not come out until Monday and one had an answering service that didn't even answer. My husband put feelers out in the community on the Valley Springs bulletin board and West Coast air conditioning was recommended. My husband Sidney called and spoke with Dan who told him someone could be out within the next couple of hours. We were so happy they were available on the weekend! Fifteen minutes later, The technician Alex showed up. He went right to work diagnosing the problem. Within 45 minutes we felt cool air...woo hoo! Talk about great service. Turns out it was a bad capacitor in the blower motor housing and rather than just pack up and leave....he did a full inspection of our unit and the outside fan, condenser etc. we were highly impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. Not to mention the awesome response time, allowing us to enjoy our weekend without melting..lol! Thank you West Coast...we can't thank you enough! Alex and his step-dad were extremely helpful. They scheduled a diagnostic appointment within the same day that I called. Alex checked our heating and gas fireplace. He offered assistance when installing a new thermostat but ultimately we asked him to install the thermostat. He showed up the next morning and helped set up the app as well for our nest. He communicated through text to keep us updated on appointment time and we were able to pay online. Excellent service! We will definitely use them again in the future read more

I called West Coast Construction and A/C because our air conditioning unit is on the roof and we are not familiar with these types of units. There was water dripping from the roof through our gutter. We thought something might be wrong with the unit so I called Dan and told him what was happening. He said that was normal and was very kind about it. Since we have been here one year, I still wanted to schedule an inspection. He came out, in a timely manner and even sent a text saying he was in route. I appreciated that immensely because I needed to put my dogs in their kennels. He inspected the A/C unit, along with the filter, and told me everything was fine. He is very experienced, reasonably priced, and very professional. I definitely recommend West Coast and will tell anybody who has construction and or A/C needs. My air conditioning unit broke last night and I called the number on the web site at 9:30 p.m., after hours, thinking I was only going to be able to leave a message and received a call back within 5 minutes. He showed up the next day, on time, and fixed my unit within 10 minutes. Absolutely the best customer service I have ever received from an air conditioning company. Our A/C went out during the middle of the night. Called first thing in the morning and they were able to send someone out that afternoon. Anderson showed up to do the repair and did a great job. While the service itself was adequate, Dan Parker spent the entire time on his cell phone conducting other business. His assistant actually added the Freon needed to our air conditioner. Dan did not avail himself to me, the customer, to answer questions I had related to my air conditioner. In general, I found him rude in his demeanor. I will not be utilizing his services again nor will I recommend him to others. read more

As happens, my AC conked out when we were expecting company. Dan went out of his way to fix it quickly, helping me to determine if I needed a replacement. Our air conditioner stopped blowing cold air and we were miserable. I called Dan at West Coast Air and couldn't have been happier. He was polite prompt and very knowledgeable.
