One of the best stores for Pokémon cards and basically all the card games. Fun games galore! The kids went nuts and the people working here were so helpful. There was a game event going on so it was pretty busy, but really cool place.

I happened to be in the area looking for something else and drove into the plaza where mothership was and I'm very happy I stopped by. This store is 15 minutes from house and I will definitely be coming back. I was super upset I wasn't able to purchase anything today but I will be coming back on pay day! These guys have a lot of games, a bunch of 2-player board games, but even more 4-6 players as well. The wall that hosts them was very large and I felt myself getting disoriented trying to remember where some games were that I last looked at. I had asked the guy behind the counter for some suggestions and after he asked what games I like he brought me over to the wall and started rifling off a bunch of games he thinks I would like and answered a bunch of my questions to. Plushies, cards, TCG tables in the back for magic or anything else you could think of. This place has it all and everything is fairly priced. They're not overcharging for anything here which is a bit of an issue with other game stores I've gone to that sell TCG. Mothership is a must if your on Parmer!

    My new board game!

Buy local! I was interested in getting a new board game considering we are all home more and I decided to check out Mothership online to see if they had the game I wanted. I ended up sending them a message asking if they had the game, I got a super fast response that yes they did! They then emailed me an invoice that I paid online and then I messaged and called them to pick it up when I was ready to. They got our call when we arrived at the store and then they took our game outside for us and we picked it up. Easy peasy, no shipping to deal with, and I got a game that's not available everywhere. They even offered to deliver it the next day if I couldn't make it there! Give them a try!

The woman at the counter told me 80% which was perfect for what I wanted. The following Monday I brought in 10 high value MTG cards - almost entirely secret lair that I've collected over the last few years. I was offered much lower than I expected but I understand card values change and I was told previously that they bought at 80% so I assumed that was what they were offering. It's on me for not double checking but I trusted them based on what I was told before. It still felt off by the time I got home so I double checked and did some math and it didn't add up. Called the next day to confirm the trade in percentage - this time I was asked if it was Pokemon, MTG or Sports card. That's when I was told it was actually 65% for MTG. If I had known that I would have kept my cards. Multiple people expressed interest in my cards while I was still in the store so I know these will move fast. I really wish whoever I spoke with on the first day had clarified what kind of cards I was bringing in. If I had known I wouldn't have sold them in the first place and found an alternative. I received a reply on my google reviews that this was a miscommunication on their part and I think the store should make it right based on their mistake.

Also they are members of the buy back program from topps so if you are interested on trading that they can. They have all of their cards priced 100% fairly, same price or below pricecharting, was able to get a beautiful Piplup PSA 10 that after the buy back was only 48. Will definitely come back, thanks!!!!

The music was great and he was very informative about what I was looking for. Nicely hooked me up with their monthly program so I can get all the comics I needed, and they were on point for about six months. Then comes my birthday, very excited to bring my son in and grab my monthly comics. I called the shop on the day of my birthday and the lady owner answered the phone, at this point I have met all the gentleman and just wanted to introduce myself. Me: " Hello who am I speaking with? Her: " I didn't give a name" Me: " correct that's why I'm asking" Her: what can I do for you" Me: " id like to know who I'm speaking with please" Her " This is Kings Cache" Me" I understand that I'm a new member and just checking in on my comics" then her tune changed. Graciously she wanted to be friendly instead of acknowledging me from the beginning and being secretive and ominous. All of this came from her with a very cantankerous attitude and resistance to lead with the right customer service. They have caller ID there, so usually when I call the fellas already acknowledge me but name. Can't believe the fake high road this lady wanted to drive on. I've had nothing but great experiences and then I call and she gives me two shades of gray. Buyer beware, they are nice til they grab ya, then ounce they have you, the care to get to know you or give you the respect you deserve is obsolete. The one gentleman is great the other two could care less for you. Austin Books and Comics and Batcity comics have now graciously taken my business. Which is good because if I see another funko pop my head will explode. Stick with dolls and leave the comics to the big boys. Just because it's a hobby doesn't mean you have to give it a bankers mentality. Ebay, Other stores and Collector conventions offer too much competition. Be better humans. You made this guy feel awful on a day that was so important you won't realize. At the end of the day you just had to be nice, you know who you were and to that my circles and collectors corners will not drive from hill country anymore to spend our disposable income. Thank goodness Batcity just opened up. Can get two more comics for the gas saved!!! I hope this helps do better, because I'm still reeling and this message doesn't do what I witnessed justice. They've got a huge outdoor patio with a Tardis and lots of seating. Inside they've got a couple of different rooms. You enter in the coffee house/bar side that has counter and table seating. They have a wide variety of tea, coffee, cocktails, 30+ beers on tap, n/a, sodas, etc. The center of space is a shop with gaming items, plushies, books, etc. Off to the right is a very large dining area with several cove-like Tudor booths. Perfect for large gaming teams and events and rad that you're able to have a meal or snack while playing (no outdoor food or drinks allowed). This is a perfect haven for D&D peeps. The British theme runs throughout the entire space including the menu. My boyfriend and I shared a Bavarian pretzel and brisket pie. The brisket pie was incredible and made feel like I was back in the UK at a local pub having a bite. Absolutely perfect. I'm not a gamer and you don't have to be to appreciate this inclusive, welcoming environment. It's eclectic, charming, & tasty!

They have an extensive menu with fun seasonal drinks (including mocktails!) and a variety of food options that are kind of Western European themed (think England and Ireland), which goes along with the theme of the place. I got the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with English Chips and while the sandwich was okay (can't really go wrong with cheese, pesto, and grilled chicken), the chips stole the show for me and will for you if you like thicker/potatoey friend fries. As for their fish and chips, they were fine, but the fish was more breading than fish and was on the sweeter end, which I didn't expect, but didn't hate either. We also tried their Ranger, Bard, and Cleric mocktails, and I have to say that I was a little disappointed as the drinks were extremely overpriced compared to what we got... the Bard was essentially a fancy glass of Trix cereal, the Ranger was cucumber soda, and the Druid was sparkling lemonade, all priced at $8 per drink. I can appreciate that they have mocktail options, but $8 for a cup of cereal is too much for my taste ‍ They get four stars from me because the ambiance, concept, service, and experience were fantastic, but the food quality and prices need some work.
