Motivated Movers - it's all in the name. They arrived within the scheduled time. They moved with purpose and urgency, taking care and direction with positivity . The three gentlemen (Eli, Dee, Kejian) assigned to our move were very courteous and extremely proficient. The job was a 2 bedroom apartment with W/D move to a two story 3 bedroom with a 45minute commute. They completed in 2.5 hours. During a heavy rainstorm. A downpour if you will. All with a can-do attitude and a smile. Would 100 pecent recommend them to anyone in the greater Atlanta area. read more

My elderly parents had a terrible experience with this company. Antique furniture ruined. All gouged and nicked. I wish they'd told me sooner. Very unhappy with the careless job this company did moving my folks' furniture. They moved several times before this with no issues whatsoever. :( read more

Gary and his team were absolutely fantastic! I can't say enough about how thorough and kind they were. They showed up on time and stayed until we were completely packed up! Motivated Movers DELIVERS! I called about 5 or 6 well-known moving businesses that I thought would be happy to have a simple moving job. I just wanted a couch moved from Sandy Springs to Marietta. About 20 miles, first floors, no stairs. I received quotes and attitudes that seemed like they weren't really that interested. That's until I called Gary at Motivated Movers! He was so friendly and professional. Gave a great quote. Called to confirm job and also when they were on the way to pick up and when they were almost at final delivery address. What? In this day and age? Someone who takes pride in their work and respects and appreciates their customer?! I plan to call Gary for all my moving needs - especially rearranging furniture. I don't know why it's so hard to find someone to do this. Not everyone has "man-power" around to do the heavy lifting. read more

I love Motivated Movers! I was recently reminded of how much I appreciate them through a negative experience with another Atlanta moving company. I recently helped a friend move. Against my advice, she chose another moving company because of their extremely low estimate. I warned her about entrusting her things into the hands of the cheapest deal available. She did not listen. The first day, they DROPPED her grand piano and broke one leg. There was no time to ascertain whether the sound board had been damaged. The rest of the move out and in was full of clumsy and clutsy mistakes: dropped boxes, wall scrapes, damaged lights, etc. In addition, the crew was uncommunicative, dull, and uncaring. Without actually saying the words, "I told you so," I assured my friend that none of my moves (and I've done four moves with Motivated Movers) had been as bad as hers. I told her how our movers had been wonderful, a pleasure to work with, always careful and respectful of us and our things. I told her that she ended up spending more money because of the damaged items. But her worst loss was a piece that was irreplaceable, that is, invaluable. Conversely, in four moves, Motivated Movers has not broken one of my belongings... Not one! They were also patient with me as I changed my mind many times as to where my grand piano should go. I wouldn't be that patient with me! If you like your things, hire Motivated Movers. Ask for Brian or Derek or Jason or Keith or Quan... They will all make your move as easy as a move can be. read more

We used them to unload our moving trailer July 1st 2015 in our temporary apartment and again to pack up and move into our house in October. Gary and his staff are absolutely incredible people and are efficient at their craft. I highly recommend them for jobs big or small. Recently had Motivated Movers to move some bulky reclining couches from our old home to our new one. They showed up on time, moved out stuff safely and without a scratch and stuck to the estimate received. They even helped us move around some other furniture! I've hired this moving company for relocation of my 1 bedroom condo to 1 bedroom retirement home, assuming, that telephone estimate will be enough. the movers arrived 1 hour late on a pickup track and it took 2.5 hours to replace this the pickup with 7 feet Uhaul track and negotiation of price. the movers worked hard and loaded it in 2-3 hours. unloading took longer. after the move was completed negotiation resumed. overall price of this move with this moving company cost me $600. later on i have discovered, that few boxes of books and other household items are missing forever. i would not recommend this moving company to anyone, who value the time, money, nerves and their stuff. regards. We researched online and read reviews, based on that information it seemed Motivatedmovers.com was a good company. We hired them. and I am so disappointed. They dropped boxes coming down stairs, they dropped our dining room table on the sidewalk scratched and chipped it and offer $40 for the incident. We just unpacked everything and I am still looking at my furniture with scratches and marks. They may have good intentions but they lack training, professionalism and the right resources to do the job. Also they changed our quote and it was expensive and it took a long time. read more

Although they arrived on time, that was just the beginning of a very slow process. The movers were nice and polite but "unmotivated" would be the way I would describe the job. As my 95 year old mother in law said "why are they just picking up the shopping bags and not moving the big pieces?" The job was to move 1 bed, 2 dressers, entertainment unit (3 pieces), large tv, a couple of end tables, maybe 25 boxes, 2 recliners, a small vertical desk, and a love seat size sleeper sofa. I ended up moving the sleeper sofa, several boxes, the headboards and rails for the bed, and other things because they were so very slow (getting paid by the hour instead of the job). They even took a break to get food instead of eating before they got there. Again, they were very polite and friendly, but not motivated in the least. I would not recommend Motivated Movers unless you get a price for the JOB and not an hourly rate. That way it doesn't matter how slow they are or how many breaks they take. read more

Now Motivated Movers is the best movering company out there. We had originally planned for them to move our extremely heavy washer and dryer on a set date. Now I had called and informed them that this date would no longer work. They happily obliged and said that we should call when we know the date that would work. Now after many non-related struggles we finally had a date. Once we came upon this date we realized we no longer needed their services. We called and informed them, yet one of the men was already on his way. We told him that we could not pay him more than the $100 deposit, and that we were very thankful for his patience with us. He then decided that he was still going to donate approx. 4 - 5 hours of his time and help us out. He came and moves our washer and dryer as well as, multiple beds and dressers and many boxes. He did all of this without being asked. He came and directed us on what needed to go where and when to bring him what. We had extra space in our truck when we thought we would have barely enough. He was ever so helpful and he did an amazing job handling all of our things and showing us new tips for our next move. These are the best movers in the state of Georgia. I will be sure the use them once we move again and no one else. We will also be recommending them to all of our friends. Simply call and you will receive wonderous service!
