The rot under the siding was fixed well, the stairs were done in the back well, stairs in front my husband felt the support was suspect (means 4x4s were cut short - he made up some excuse that this was his intent) and door window was damaged and cracked. We have tried to contact him on multiple occasions, even going so far as forgetting all the support issues but wanted our door window repaired or replaced. He has ghosted us!! This is unacceptable. We paid him to do a job and didn't hold back any money (our mistake - now he has no reason to call us back). So now our only option is to hire a lawyer to get our door window repaired or replaced because at this point that's all we care about. We didn't pay all that money to have a door that doesn't function properly!

Interestingly, the firm subcontracted 2 different carpentry firms. one to build an overhang on our front door and the other, Jenson Carpentry, to build a new pool house. Jenson as a subcontractor was outstanding The pool house was completed before the overhang on our front door. Waldron insisted on us ordering our custom front door from a particular manufacturer in order to get his "Warranty". The door cost twice the price we planned to spend and was not delivered until nearly a year after we wrote a check in full to Waldron. Months elapsed before we, as the customer, heard from the manufacturer for clarifications. There were many issues and many emails between us as the customer with the manufacturer, not with Waldron. When we received the door, it did not meet our requirements provided in writing to Waldron. Waldron told us it was not his problem.

Quotes were so far out in left field that we thought we were just going to have to deal with the garbage, cracked tub we had or enlist some friends and hopefully pool together enough know-how to do it ourselves. Then, one night while in Menards, we just happened to see Joe's business as one of the recommended installers over by the plumbing/tub area. Boy, are we happy we did! For starters, Joe treats you like family. He listens to you, pays attention to what you can and can't afford and talks to you like a regular person. He communicates with you every step of the way and lets you know if something is changing. In the end, we basically wound up with a whole bathroom remodel for about the same (if not less) than what the other companies were quoting for JUST a tub replacement. Joe only uses the best of the best when he brings people in to your home to perform services. The flexibility and respect won't be soon forgotten.
