: I ordered a part on 1/20. Was notified by email from company that the product was not in stock and would take 3-5 business days to arrive for shipment. I was charged on the 20th and the product shipped on the 27th. I was concerned that the delay was unfair due to collecting funds immediately without having the product in stock. I felt that I should be compensated for the delay with a more expeditious shipping. They refused any assistance. The product was then delivered but no one could sign for it on the 29th. The 30th the package was never delivered to my home. I contacted the post office and they advised me the package was lost and they were trying to locate it. I then contacted the company to let them know the issue and to see if they could help. All they would do is tell me to email them and they would contact the post office. I was asking for help on how to get me the product and they would not do anything except wait for an email. I have filed a complaint with the consumer affairs division at the post office on the issue. I then received an email from Corey at motomummy stating that they contacted the post office and had it returned to them. They have held my money so far for 10 days with no product in my hands and will not be in my hands. They also state that they will not do business with me anymore. I am the consumer with the issue and they were not willing to contact them to find it to deliver to me, but rather to get the product back. Why did they charge me and keep my money without delivering the product? Also they know it is being sent back, why am I not refunded immediately? Found Motomummy by searching for a Power Commander V online and they came up as having the best price plus free shipping and no tax. Ordered online on Tuesday and then called them to check if they had it in stock. They told me no but hang on and we'll check our local warehouse. They had one left. The part arrived UPS 2nd Day air on Thursday. My experience was very different than the other postings here. I give them two thumbs up! Would definitely do business with them again. read more

There are much better sites to order from out there. A lot of people don't mind dealing with motomummy too much because the prices are usually low and you will eventually get your stuff. Frankly I would rather pay the few dollars more for the better service elsewhere. I've never been content with mediocrity and this place is mediocre at best. Corey's a cool guy and all I guess, he has a fairly strong presence on most of the forums that bring him a lot of business. What it comes down to is that he and his wife (the staff) drag their feet in every aspect of their business. Emails are not treated with any sort of priority, forget about phone calls (they don't even answer the phone). There is no sort of courtesy extended to the customer, no updates, no additional information on items that are not in stock. If you want an update on your order, better start begging. I have never dealt with an online business that does not at least send an email to let you know your order is missing one part or two, and more often than not any decent company will offer to ship the portion of your order that is available, rather than delay your entire order for nearly a month. I don't think they even look at what they're packing before they throw them into the box. The plastic box for one of my items was crushed on one end. The box they sent it in did not contain any fragments from the shattered plastic box. This is a clear indication that this was not damage incurred during the shipping process. Additionally, there was a component missing from the box (a nut) and after getting no response by email I ended up having to go out to a hardware store to find a replacement. I for one have learned my lesson and will take my business elsewhere. read more

Buyer beware. Company sells items on their website that they do not stock. Ordered Yoshimura exhaust for 2013 Gixxer 1000 and was informed that they had to get it from their distributor. I asked them why they didn't drop ship it from the distributor directly to me and they told me that it would cost more and take longer to get to me. HUH? What? Bullshit! If you are going to order from Motomummy, and want to make sure your item(s) ship/arrive expeditiously, make sure you contact them first to make sure they even stock the item they are selling on their website! I would have paid more for the exhaust to get it sooner. Lesson learned. read more

Both times were very pleasant experiences, I got my order in a very timely manner and was given more updates about it than I have gotten from any automotive shop EVER. Will never go to this place any more. Don't waste your time and money. Extremely unprofessional. 1. Gears. No price tag on any gear. It makes me feel extremely uncomfortable as a budget rider. Having asked the price of a few gloves, I ended up buying nothing from this place. 2. Service. Extremely unprofessional. I planed to buy a set of tires for my ninja 250. After talking on phone for a few times on Apr 19 (thu), I followed the instruction of a staff to make an order and they said I can have the tires tomorrow (Fri). So I asked for leave from my boss. But they said oh sorry the tires have not yet arrived because we process the order a little bit latter that day. Wtf? So I pay the patience and cancel my weekend riding trip with my friend and swing by on Mon. It turns out that they ordered a wrong size tires and they blamed this on me. I have stock wheels. Wtf? 3. I ordered alpinestars gp pro leather track pants from motomummy last week. ($399) This company offers good products but their customer service is well below the industry average. They refuse to answer their phones ( 4-5 ignored calls) and took 2 days to respond to my email. and the worst part,... "They did NOT even send my order to the post office for delivery for a full seven days. 2 weeks to get an order seems a little rediculous! Will not do business with this organization again and I'm praying that the pants fit so I dont have to deal with their return policy! I ordered a part early Monday morning (1am) and had to email them just to get an update on the order and shipping information on Wednesday being told the same "it should ship out today or tomorrow if we get around to it." Later that evening I checked it again and showed they managed to print my shipping label but nothing more. I emailed them about it and get a reply back about how it shipped out yesterday (March 4th) yet an hour after this email I checked and USPS shows it was just picked up Today (March 5th) at noon. I emailed them and the jackass owner emailed me back insulting my intelligence and telling me that I have no idea how shipping and receiving with companies work and to basically deal with it. At that point I informed them that I had no problem spending money with another company almost 48 hours after using the same form of payment and my stuff was already on it's way to me with fedex tracking. Apparently their processing is working just fine but what do I know. These assholes are roughly a few hundred miles from me and can't manage to put my part in a box and send it before I can get other parts from across the US. I cannot give less than a one star but after speaking with Corey and having him hang up on us twice while trying to resolve a problem, I would not recommend doing business with this place. We ordered two new specialty sprockets and a new chain. The chain did not ship and they are going to try and make us eat $95 for it. Pros: the prices are cheaper than other sites. The shipping is free and very fast. Cons: I ordered two items as a package, cost was over $800(slip on exhaust and power commander). I was very impressed with how fast the package arrived. I was not impressed about the fact my exhaust was missing. Oh, their rules said you cannot return any electronics. My power commander looked new but why was the package opened??? I'm like okay, I'm not big about returning items back once I make a purchase. I emailed them twice last night during after hours. They've been open for awhile now, and yet no replies. I called 6 to 8 times and the line was always busy. The automated answering system told me to email them or call back, REALLYYYYYYYY????? Finally, another call back, success. A guy came on the phone, at this time I am boiling but I calmly told him I am calling concerning my order. He answered me kind of in a rude way, what!!! I raised my voice a little and said my order status!!! I gave him my order number and he told me someone was working on it(calling the warehouse). Thanks for the email reply telling me someone was working on it, not!!!! Obviously, I am venting a little about this company. If the order stated there were 2 items being ordered, why was there no system in place that checks off each item as the item is being picked????? Obviously a slip on exhaust and a power commander would not of fit in that tiny box the power commander was shipped in. Fire the order picker if he or she doesn't know what he or she was doing!!!!! If the product is out of stock, list it as out of stock on the website and do not charge me for it until the item is shipped. Not that I would place an order in if it was out of stock. I recently placed an order for a power commander 5, an autotuner, and a bmc race filter. The power commander was missing the O2 optimizer. When I spoke with Corey he said he would contact Dynojet and they would send out a new one. A few days later I called back to get a tracking number and he said they isn't a tracking # but I should receive it in a few days. Well I called back in a few days since I hadn't received it and this time Corey was very rude and told me I just had to wait it out. I explained how long it's been since I placed my original order and I could not install my parts but he could care less and you could tell by his tone of voice that he didn't want to be bothered. I told him I wasn't confident that Dynojet sent the item out because I get delivery alerts on my iPhone when a shipping label is created with my address. He said that they sent it out via USPS and USPS doesn't have shipping alerts only UPS. I told him I get alerts from USPS on my phone all the time and could send him a screenshot of my phone. He then called my a liar over and over. Then he changed his story saying they sent it out in a regular letter with no tracking number. I felt something wasn't right and asked how to go about returning my order since I was not happy with the situation. Now he was really mad and said I could not return anything. Arguing back and forth he ended up hanging the phone up on me. I just called Dynojet and they are sending one out to me along with a tracking number via email. I don't know why I didn't just deal with Dynojet from the beginning. I've been a loyal customer to motomummy for 8 years and never had a problem with them. I placed an order on 9/1/2013 this was a sunday night. The total was $726.98. I then realized that I forgot to order a rear Renthal sprocket. I placed a 2nd order for it 2 minutes later at a cost of $64.95. The next day I called and tried to change my order on the phone. I was told that they have to have an order change in writing. When I got home from work later Monday afternoon, I e-mailed the order change. On 9/3/2013 I received an e-mail from Erin stating that they canceled my order in full and I needed to replace my order for what I wanted. On 9/12/2013 my bank stilled didn't show a credit for $726.98. I called Motomummy again and was told that they had in fact issued a credit to my account for $726.98 and that it was my bank that was holding up the return credit. I called my bank on 9/14/2013 and was told no credit was issued from Motomummy to my account. I called Motomummy again and the person laughed and assured me that a credit was issued. He even gave me a return transaction number to boot. I called my bank back and was told that a return transaction number contains letters and numbers NOT just numbers. WOW, what bullshit. I was still spending a total of $540 with these assholes. My bank asked for there fax number so that they could simply fax a release form to them. The guy on the phone at Motomummy claimed that they didn't have a fax number. Now I'm getting pissed !!! These assholes play games with their customers money because that customer changed an order. These people need to grow up already. I'm trying to place a conference call with Motomummy and my bank to resolve this. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM MOTOMUMMY AGAIN !!!!! Today is the 10th and I still have a $726.98 pending charge from Motomummy showing in my bank account. BTW, unless Motomummy have a sell, INDYSUPERBIKES.COM is cheaper even with the shipping charge.
