It was close to work so I got over there fast! The guy who worked there was real knowledge cable and help me pick out the perfect helmet and a bubble shield. I knew absolutely nothing about buying a helmet other than what I wanted it to look like and left with exactly what I wanted! You can beat that! The price was average but I cant complain about the service and convenience of the location. I would totally go back here for any motorcycle accessories I need. I cant say enough good stuff about this place its a winner in my book!

I've always driven past this place while in Austin, TX, but we made the visit this past weekend. I wanted to touch on the structure of this shop - it's absolutely stunning. Love the architecture here and the windows of the shop. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will be coming back for a Motorwear Leather jacket (that I will have tailored). I am excited knowing that I don't always have to ride all the way up to Austin, now I know a place where I can rent a motorcycle. The clothing and gear here are impressive and great quality - highly attractive.

However, I've always thought the mark of a good business is what they do to rectify less than ideal situations, and Bobby, the manager, came through! I bought a new set of tires for my FJR from RevZilla, who are now owned by the same company as CG. Because of this, mounting tires at CG cost the same, whether the were bought at RZ or CG. Took the tires in, got them back the next day, everything looked fine after I remounted the wheels, and took it on a short ride. A few days ago, I opened my garage door to see that one of the sets of wheel weights was on the floor. Damn! I didn't want to take the wheel off again, and take it back to CG, so called and talked to Bobby, explaining the situation, and proposing that he refund me the charge for mounting that tire, and I would simply use balance beads, which I could put in here, with the wheel on the bike. Bobby said he would do me one better and refund the charges for both wheels. He stated that he had been seeing some issues with wheel weights, so they were doing a review on the process, and also checking to see if they got a bad batch of weights. It was a less than ideal situation, but Bobby did me right!

Had it restored in Virginia over 10 years ago…read more Used to take it to a different shop, but eventually they refused to work on it for anything other than easy tune-ups. Had an oil leak at the cylinder head. Finally found Rathbone a couple of years ago. Trevor and the crew were able to diagnose the issue and told me what had to happen (engine had to come out to fix the seals in the head). Ordered a complete seal kit and replaced all the seals in the engine, cleaned and adjusted the carbs, tuned, etc. Great work. The bike has run like a watch. Starts right up, no leaks cold or hot.

I was ready to buy and wished it did not take that long. I've been to other shops that had less of back and forth.

He handled it perfectly assuring me he would address it and take care of it and thanking me for bringing it to his attention. A textbook example of how to handle things. Handled properly a problem can be turned into a positive experience and interaction with the client. Well done! I then went to the clothing department searching for a specific shirt that was showing sold out and discontinued on the Harley website. I had called Harley Davidson.com checking to see if there was any way possible it was still available and  no luck (It matched the colors of my new bike and I really wanted it). Tanya in your clothing department noticed I liked a particular style of shirt and said she would make me aware of other shirts that come in matching that style in the future. She and I talked and I explained my "dilemma". She did a computer search of dealerships showing that exact same shirt in stock. I did have to make a few calls but was able to find that shirt that I REALLY wanted. It made my day! Thanks for your assistance! I then went to talk with Frank in parts about my bike I just dropped off for a stage 4 kit install. He made me aware of some new parts/products I might be interested in since the bike was going to be getting worked on anyway. He explained to me the benefits/advantages of the newer/better performing parts that just became available in contrast to what I currently have. He also helped me with a return. I really liked that he was not trying to "hard sell" me; just educate me on the advantages. People do like to buy things but don't like to be "sold". He has also gone the "extra mile" for me finding other dealerships that had a product I ordered that was on backorder. Thanks for all your assistance! As a mechanic and former shop owner with over 20 years of experience, I went in seeking a simple tire mounting and balancing for a brand new Pirelli tire, having been referred by several friends. Upon arrival, I met Thomi, the owner, who was friendly but informed me her regular mechanic was unavailable. Instead, her husband, also a mechanic, would take care of it. I expressed that there was no rush, hoping to have it back by the weekend, and she assured me it would be no problem. Fast forward to Thursday when I called to check on the status, only to find out it wasn't done yet but would definitely be ready the next day. I received a call later that same day confirming it was finished, so I went to pick it up. I paid the $65 and carefully placed the wheel in my truck to avoid damage during transport. Upon arriving home and rolling it into my garage, I was horrified to find several scratches on the rim. I should have inspected it before leaving the shop, but they were closing, and I was eager to get back to riding. I reached out via text to Thomi's number but received no response. The next day, I returned to the shop. Thomi was busy with another customer, so I opted not to create a scene and instead made eye contact with her. She assured me she would make it right. However, the following day she called, claiming she was "1 million percent certain" she hadn't scratched the rim. This is especially disheartening considering it was the first tire on a 2023 bike with only 3,800 miles. After weeks of waiting and no communication, I called again and learned Thomi would be back the following Tuesday. That day came and went with no updates. Eventually, after another two weeks, she called to ask whether the rim was powder-coated or painted, which I had no way of knowing. Finally, after over six weeks of waiting, I got a call saying it was ready. I took my lunch to pick it up and inspected it this time, only to have Thomi deny any wrongdoing again and tell me not to bring anything back. Honestly, who would after such a dreadful experience? Beware of this shop. I would have gladly waited two weeks for a job well done instead of enduring this whole ordeal with an inexperienced person. Save yourself the trouble and find a more reliable place.
