What's up with all the garage sale stuff displayed throughout this building? Looks unprofessional. However, if proceeds pay down fees for us taxpayers, that would be helpful to know. Otherwise, it seems shady. Nice newly renovated building could do without the clutter everywhere. Despite this odd environment, employees get the job done and I love the take-a-number system and monitor on your phone til it's your turn. Brilliant! read more

I waited in line to get a number before they opened and was called on within 15 minutes. I was served by Mike and he was wonderful to work with. He was very helpful and pleasant. Everyone except the old tyrant that works in titles was very helpful and pleasant. But the old women in title is probably one of the worst public servants I've ever experience, not sure why she is still there as she looks to be way past retirement age. Must have some good photos of management doing bad things is all I have to say. Nice new building as well read more

They gave me temporary plates. They told me to come back after I got the title. I came back weeks later with the title... they then said they couldn't help me because I didn't reside in their county... (but they could help me before.) Horrible service and horrible excuses to help. These people do should not be in customer service. read more

I waited for over three hours just to get my license plates. You would think that somehow they would make the process more efficient. From what I hear it's this way all day and every day. It was particularly annoying was that there were two people that I noticed that, apparently work for car dealerships that would register five vehicles at a time. Somehow these same people kept showing up at the counter which meant that they had multiple numbers and they kept getting ahead of the rest of the crowd each time. I found the whole experience very disappointing and unacceptable. read more

My son and daughter in law went to do business for me as my husband, a Veteran is to disabled to be left alone. They called before they came and talked to a nice guy and had everything they needed. They got the customer service person from Hell apparently and were so rudely treated that I felt I needed to leave a review. People like her should not be allowed to work with others in any way. She was nasty, dirty looks, threw her hands in the air, refused to look up their number and nicely left with a "Have a Good Day". Had I been there with my husband in a wheelchair who cannot talk, walk, or understand she would have heard it from me. This is still Montana. We do not act this way now should we in our country. Someone who is miserable and takes her misery in life and frustrations on others who pay her high wages needs to work in a slaughterhouse, in a small cubicle with a computer and should not be allowed around the public. Shame Kalispell DMV for employing her. I will call her boss tomorrow as people like her should not procreate let alone raise children. read more
