They first do a diagnostic test and inspection of the car, then suggest based on Volvo recommendations as well as what the service technician sees while inspecting. I was then thoroughly explained each item that needed attention and time frame associated with fixing. It was the first time in a long time that I left a car shop feeling good about everything. For someone who doesn't have too much knowledge on cars, their recommendations are useful. I have noticed the price creeping up - now $86 per oil change which is pretty steep. I have also had some repairs done here. My car was flooded once after a nasty storm and they replaced some electronics on the inside. Had to bring it back once after that repair because my dash was showing airbag disabled warning randomly and they took a second look. They didn't find anything wrong (they quoted maybe loose connection) and still charged me ~$80 to fix nothing even though it was something that was overlooked by their repair. Service reps are nice and will explain any details you don't understand. Overall, comprehensive but emphasis on costly - you pay for that extra service, I guess.

I love my car, I even named her.. she's everything to me and we are closely connected. I don't just hand her off to anyone but after hearing about Royal Collision's work from a friend, and reading their amazing reviews online, I decided to meet with them and see what they could do to get things right again for me. I walked in and I was greeted by the young girl (I forgot her name, sorry!) at the front desk and then introduced to Sergio. They both know cars and it was easy for me to tell that Sergio was enthusiastic about the car scene and wanting to help me. The lobby was clean and they have coffee and water to hold you over through the stress. Sergio quickly came out to look at my car and drew up a quote for me. I asked him to re-apply Xpel clear bra on the front bumper of the car since the previous installation would have to be removed. I found the quote to be fair for the level of service, attention to detail, and impeccable work they do. It was the first and ONLY quote I received for my car.. I left him the keys and requested to please keep my car inside the garage and not outside so that Houston's heat wouldn't do a number on my leather in the 2 weeks I waited for the car's return. During this time, Sergio would always call me to keep me updated on the car's progress. I was in Miami and he gave me a call with photos to tell me that the shop who installed my carbon fiber splitters and front lip did so incorrectly causing damage to the bumper. What I appreciated was that he never tried to upsell me - I could have left it as it was because he told me it wouldn't show once the accessories were put back on but it would if I were ever to remove them to sell the car. I told him to fix it. Joe, the owner of Royal Collision, is a stand up, professional guy. Everything about him just oozes ... perfection. He wants his work perfect and he wants his clients happy. Which is why when the owner of that previous shop called him to speak about the work they had done he stood up for me despite being friends with them. He also personally explained the situation which I appreciated because I know he's very busy. I just got the car back today, as promised within the 2 weeks timeframe. IT LOOKS AMAZING. THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND. JOE, SERGIO, THE GIRL AT THE FRONT, AND ROYAL COLLISION - I couldn't be happier. It looks perfect. The paint is an exact match, the Xpel is done flawlessly, and my accessories were put on perfectly. The front parking sensors work awesome. I've trusted this auto repair shop for years with all of our family's cars, but this last visit was…read morethe worst experience we've ever had. My mom brought her car in because it was hesitating to accelerate past 50 mph. After paying $189 for a diagnostic service, the mechanic first said the engine had failed and even gave her a quote for a full engine replacement. Later, the story changed -- first to a catalytic converter issue and then again to something else. When she picked up the car, it was in worse condition than before. It wouldn't go over 10 mph, and they admitted they already knew it was running that way but still let her drive it into traffic without warning her. The only reason they looked at the car again was because it came back in such bad shape. They were combative when we asked questions, and the engine cover wasn't even secured afterward. This used to be a shop we trusted, but the lack of accountability, inconsistent diagnostics, and disregard for safety were unacceptable. If you're looking for honest mechanics and reliable diagnostics, I would strongly suggest taking your vehicle elsewhere.
