I posted a negative rating, it may have been a misunderstanding. Marvin made everything right.

I had brake pads and rotors replaced.Everything was very transparent -- Chris took me back in the shop and showed me the pads and drums during the inspection and he gave me a detailed written report. The pricing was totally reasonable and everything was documented with photos through the whole process. The place is clean and waiting area cozy, but Chris got me an uber home and Mike the shuttle driver (super nice man) picked me up when the car was ready....and they washed my car and even shined up my wheels and tires (and it was really dirty). The best part is that they delivered all this great service and value without telling me every 10 minutes how honest they were and what a great deal they were giving me, and without brow beating me for a review on my way out the door! It's nice to write a review because I am genuinely impressed rather than because I was asked. And it was equally nice to have good, old school service and value from respectful, friendly people - I will definitely return.

Jeremy was great and provided excellent service. It was a nice day so I walked home. They are professional and have great hours! They have a patio and coffee bar area if you need a snack. The price quoted was within reason and they also attempted to price match as well.

This morning I had a tire issue, so I decided to try them for more than gasoline. They have a full-service car repair space located directly onsite, so I figured they could help with my tire. Sure enough, I had a roofing nail lodged in my front left tire. The attendant was wonderful and fast. He patched my tire for $20 and I was on my way. I appreciate the location of this service/gas station especially this morning when I was heading to work. If I had to go anywhere else, I would have been late. It's not a huge issue if I am late, but I really hate being late... it's just a thing with me. This is where my 5 stars really ring out. Because I was able to get in and out fast, because the attendant was so nice and because I feel it was a very fair price, I rate this service station 5 stars. I don't know how to do these things myself, so I panic a little when my tire light comes on in my car. Peace of mind is huge. I wish I would have gotten the gentleman's name this morning. If he reads this review, thank you! Don't forget to tip your service people for doing things you can't do or don't want to do. I have a maintenance package on my vehicle right now through my dealership, but after that expires, this place will have my business. I really love their almost old fashion standard of business. I feel like I can trust this place.

According to the…read moredealer, I had to get the following fluids flushed and replaced: transmission, coolant, brake, and power steering. The dealer was happy to do this for close to $1,000, which was way more than I was comfortable paying. After calling the 2 other dealerships in town, as well as 2 non-dealer locations, I decided on Spring Branch Complete Auto. I based my decision primarily on price, as SBCA was easily a few hundred dollars less expensive than the next guy. At SBCA, I spoke with Luis who was more than happy to provide good service at a great price. Luis was very polite and professional throughout my experience. He took the extra step of showing me the machine they were going to use to flush my transmission. When I learned that the flush would not include a filter replacement, Luis quickly changed the work order to include that, charging me only for the parts. I was impressed by how quickly Luis resolved my concern. And even though they offered the lowest price I found, they still offered me a ride to my job in the morning, which was a nice touch. I try to do as much car maintenance myself, but whenever a maintenance project is way over my head, SBCA will be one of the first places I call.

Honest. Fairly priced. Transparent communications. Quality work…read more My wife was told by the dealership that the AC in car needed $5K in repairs. Some things didn't add up, so I started looking around for a local mechanic to get a second opinion. I came upon Upland Car Pros and saw only 5 start reviews on Yelp, which is rare, and 4.9 on Google, so something was worth checking out. Their webpage is very simple with their phone number, address, and hours. No advertising for themselves even on their own webpage. They let their reviews and referrals do the talking. I talked to Ramon about what the dealer told me, and he immediately said something wasn't right, because of the two parts quoted, it didn't make sense to replace the second item, because its performance was dependent on the first item. He explained to me how the different parts interacted and how they would have to check them in order to see if it addressed the issue before moving to the next part. He gave me an option that would be low cost but could get things cooling again, but might not actually fix the problem if it's elsewhere. He also gave me another option that was a bit more but if there were other issues like leaks, it would help with locating them, and it is something that would have to be done if the low cost option didn't work. So I opted for the higher cost option, playing the long game. Ramon and his father, Robert, checked things out and determined that the first part that the dealer quoted did, in fact, need to be replaced, which they were able to do for a third of what the dealership quoted. After that was replaced, the AC was blowing cold, but then it would warm up again. Robert determined that there was an obstruction in the system, but knew that the compressor was functioning properly due to the pressure and temp readings in the high and low pressure sides. He replaced the expansion valve, now the system is running perfectly. Total cost of parts and labor was $950. This is even more significant, because had I done what the dealer recommended, a) it would NOT have fixed the problem, b) I would have paid to have a perfectly good part replaced, and c) I would still have had to have the expansion valve replaced. Ramon and Robert did systematic troubleshooting, were able to determine the root cause of the problem, and fixed it. They looked over the rest of the car and said that everything else looked like it was in good shape and said the only thing they might recommend would be to flush and replace the various fluids, but he also said I should go through my records to determine when they were last replaced so that I know which ones are due and which ones can wait. This is the type of collaborative relationship that everyone should expect from whoever is maintaining your vehicle, and Ramon and Robert deliver. They have the right attitude in that if they do their job honestly, then you'll trust them and keep coming back to them when the need arises. They've definitely earned my business.
