The owner greeted us with such a warm welcoming as first timers. The pizza is enough to feed 3 ppl w 2 good size slices that are very fulfilling, which is what I was looking for. I live in San Francisco and I love Detroit style pizza. There are good Detroit style pizza places where I live but Motorhead Pizza is even better. Their pizza is generously loaded with flavorful toppings (I got the combo) and the crust has crunch yet soft with good chew. Owners/staffs are super friendly and their home-made spicy Ranch sauce is so delicious on my pizza. Their cookies are also yummy. We were really looking forward to trying this based on it being Detroit style, which we love. When I saw I could order on Door Dash we placed an order for the Spicy Roni and the Chicken BBQ. First issue was ordering delivery when we are in Rocklin. It took the Dasher about 20 minutes to get to their location. I assume the pizzas were sitting there for a while based the delivery person getting to the location. Our pizza was luke warm. Based on their location, if it is Delivery, they may wait if they can until they know the driver will arrive. I could see on the Door Dash app the driver was out there. Not sure what the solution would be. The Spicy-Roni was tasty, they were definitely skimpy on toppings. We found that on both Pizzas. Taste was good on the Spicy-Roni but again limited on the toppings. The BBQ Chicken just didn't taste good. Really the only taste was bacon and the ranch drizzled on top. Very little chicken and overall toppings. May try again and pick up ourselves and allow them to get more time with their process. With deep dish, topping ratio is critical. Would not get the Chicken again but would recommend the Spicy-Roni. read more

Tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago and it was Amazing! We've been back 3 times in the past 4 weeks. The pizza is delicious!

Their system was down and I only had enough cash for one pizza and a subpar tip. We were trying to figure out what pizza to split and they said don't worry about it, we'll cover it. So generous. On top of that, they kept offering their cookies, wings, and salad. We humbly accepted their offer of the cookies. While waiting, they brought us water too. Service was excellent. ALSO, the food was delicious! One of, if not the BEST, pizza spot in Placer County. Looking forward to a Roseville expansion. Thank you Motorhead for a great first experience! read more

There is a reason this place has 5.0 stars on Yelp with hundreds of reviews. What an incredible "off the beaten path" find. If you're a local, this is your new regular pizza place. Phenomenal ownership, but the food is where they win big. The pizza is absolutely fantastic. It blows every other pizza joint out of the water by a long shot. Highly recommend the Gold Rush that comes with the hot honey drizzle, and the house made herb ranch is the finishing touch. Best pizza I've had in years. Grab a couple of the choc chip cookies while you're at it, the sea salt finish is unreal. No need to post photos because the pizzas all come out looking exactly like they do on the website. Great place to pick up a pizza on the way home from various sports in Loomis. Was bummed I only got to try one pizza (gold rush, delicious albeit a bit spicy) so far, but I'll be back!! In 2025, it's hard to find great customer service. A lot of people just don't seem to care about their jobs or people especially in the service industry. Yes, it's a little pricier, but it is worth every penny and maybe even your first born child m. It's takeout only, which means no awkward small talk with servers -- just grab your pizza and head to LBBs to wash it down with an Alohawk like the classy human you are. And listen, do not skip the chocolate chip cookies. I'm a chocolate chip cookie connoisseur (self-appointed, but still legit), and these things are ridiculous. When I picked it up I said it was my first time and I had read the great reviews. I was told "well you must try our homemade Ranch dressing to dip pizza and our cookies ". OMG. the Ranch dressing is AWESOME. I definitely recommend getting the dressing (I want a gallon). The Chocolate Chip chunk cookie also yummy.
