I took my 550 truck to MotoPro because it had an oil leak issue. They replaced the turbo, but after the replacement, the turbo was never right. I went back five or six times, and eventually, I decided not to return. The turbo continued to fail, and when I sought help from other mechanics, it eventually blew up and was beyond repair. When I tried to get assistance with the turbo's warranty, they refused to help. Every visit to MotoPro resulted in more attempts to charge me extra money, and in the end, my truck was never properly fixed. Ultimately, I spent nearly $8,000 on repairs and never got good results. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

All Tune and Lube - This mechanic was able to fix my sons car after one mechanic sabotaged it, another wouldn't touch it because of the damage, and a dealership told me the part couldn't be found and for them to fix it could cost me around the $3,500 mark! Not only did they take the time to find all of the issues (spoiler alert: it didn't even need that discontinued part the dealer said it needed) fix it and fix what others deemed impossible but they also did it for a fair price and considerably fast!!! My entire family will be traveling the distance for our car needs with this honest, family run mechanic shop! My son thanks you, we all thank you!!! read more

Mellow and Carlos were great. I had purchased Bilstein shocks for my Dodge Ram 1500 and needed the fronts put on. I also had a 1-1/2" leveling kit that needed to go with the shocks. Actually, the ORIGINAL diagnostics from 12/29 show a misfire in the engine cylinder 3. You never did any other diagnostics or atleast couldn't prove that any other were donene. With that said, your immediately concern should have been to fix the misfire not to change the fuel filter. Nice try. Word of mouth of terrible serves spreads much fuether then the internet and since I've been telling my stores I have actually had two other people complain of your service...from wrong bolts on just tire rotations and changes to some serious issues basically, expect to take your car somewhere to have the problem fixed after they 'fix' your car like I had to do. Not to mention on 12/29, andres said that my car was ok to drive without the sensor..I just won't get good gas mileage. It started stalling on 3/7. Brought the car in 3/8. You have all the wrong information on my car and paperwork. So please don't try and sound like you did everything you could to fix my car. I have proof of your negligence. Also, I had $30worth of gas when it was dropped off on 3/8 but whoever test drove it left me with no gas. Then I didn't drive the car for two days. Went to a gas station. Out $50 in and stalled in the fast lane of rt80. My story is truth. What you're saying and the codes are nothing what I have paperwork of or anything that you have said. Terrible. read more

First, I have to say this review has nothing to do with this business's ability to repair vehicles. It has EVERYTHING to do with customer service, or in this case...lack thereof. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday afternoon, but nobody looked at it until Saturday. I was never told it would take 4 days before it was diagnosed. A couple days after I had dropped the car off, I stopped in to retrieve something from the trunk. Well, this turned into a half hour adventure. Nobody could find my keys. I had to drive 30 minutes back home to get a spare key. Full disclosure, they did eventually find the keys. I arrived to pick up my vehicle, and that led to another lengthy delay. My invoice could not be found. I suggested that maybe it was left in my car. I went to the car and found it had been ransacked. My change holder (filled with change) was gone and the contents of my glove compartment were on the floor. I told Mello, and he informed me that it had happened to another vehicle two nights prior. Apparently they don't lock customer vehicles! So, if you leave your vehicle there overnight...BEWARE! Mello offered no apology or compensation...NOTHING. To sum it up...horrible customer service, no consideration for the client and no security. For those reasons alone, I would stay far away from this establishment. read more

The staff is super honest, thorough, and does everything from NJ inspections (they are certified) to oil changes, and tune-ups. I am very grateful for how fast they are with their services. I brought my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for a ticking in the engine on November 27, 2012. All they did was check my oil and told me they thought that the oil was the issue, so I should get an oil change, which I did. I was told it could be something worse, and if the noise remained after a while, bring it back, and they'll have to look at it. I wasn't told not to drive it, and I wasn't told to leave it to make sure everything was ok. about 50 miles later, and All Tune & Lube wants $2,650 to replace the engine, that they didn't thoroughly look into when I brought it to them. read more

5/27/2016 I would like to let anyone know who comes to this service center how I was treated today. I purchased a 2008 BMW 328i from a local dealer. While I had the car at my mechanic for a front end rattle they hooked it up to the computer and a 2A87 code came up. I have a drivetrain warranty with the dealer who sold me the car. They referred my their shop - All Tune & Lube, Dover to make an appointment have it looked at. The owner - Mello himself ran the car through 17 systems and told me that the code was not in there. Turns out after he got very loud in the showroom in front of other customers that the code WAS indeed in his scanner. Remedy - bring the car back when I have time to pull it apart. Fine. Second - prior to purchasing the car I brought it to my mechanic for a check. It was discovered that the car had an il pan gasket leak. The dealer had All Tune & Lube fix the leak. Fine. After driving the car a bit the front end began to rattle, thinking front end, I bring it to my mechanic who drives it, hears it puts it on the lift, takes off the under panel and out falls a piece of the stabilizer bar and shows me how the stabilizer bar is moving freely in the front end. This sub frame needs to be removed to replace the gasket in the oil pan. Obviously All Tune & Lube failed to put the car back together properly resulting in the rattle. Also a bold on the pan was not screwed in. I brought this to Mello's attention today and he threw me out of his service center in front of other customers. I would think twice about using this service center in the future. The customer service is POOR and that's from the owner. He yells at his customers, I have witnesses and will be contacting them for statements when I call the franchise HQ on Tuesday. No one should talk to another human being like Mello spoke to me today. Ever. You should be ashamed and embarrassed at your behavior. My cars will never go there, the mechanic do a half-baked job it they can't tighten a bold and put stabilizer bars back on. Of course the 2A87 code according to Mello could be the wrong oil or oil filter. Can you guess who did the oil change on the car before I bought it? And changed the oil pan gasket. You guessed it - All Tune & Lube. Your name is written all over the problem with this car and you won't admit to it. read more

Mello and his crew are fantastic!! I finally found a mechanic that is trustworthy . A few weeks ago I went to another place who gave me an estimate of just over 2 thousand. I brought it to Mello when my son recommended him. The total was about 1 thousand. Just the other day my brother was having car trouble, He took it to his place who gave him a quote of about 7 hundred . I told him to go see Mello. He did the same work for 5 hundred. This place is great and I will highly recommend it to everyone from now on ! WAY TO GO MELLO!!!!!!!!!! You have a customer for life. Honesty and Perseverance, are the best words to describe the workmanship of the staff at All Tune. My 2003 Cadillac needed major engine work (head gasket replacement) followed shortly thereafter by a nuisance check engine light (P0174) not related to the head gasket problem vacuum hoses, Oxygen sensors, leak tests you name it were all checked for defects - rather than giving up, or changing out parts unnecessarily, the owner personally pursued a resolution to the cause of the engine light fault. He knew the engine all too well from the head gasket work and took to the troubleshooting and repair of the engine light problem with the intensity of a bull dog. He personally drive the car with the computer hooked up to see the fault light approaching. I am happy to say he found the problem made the repair by ultimately replacing a snorkel valve; the results have been nothing but positive. Although a distance from my home I plan to return to him for future maintenance. If in the area stop in, say hello to Mello and be greeted with a friendly smile from Jo at the counter. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! I honestly did not want to be persuaded by the negative feedback this shop has been receiving and wanted to give it a chance when replacing a fuel tank on an older car. After all, I had the correct part and simply needed a shop with a lift to get the job done. My first impression of the owner was not very pleasant as he spoke in a manner that almost seems to belittle you. A week after the tank replacement, the car was refueled to the full capacity and to my disbelief, it sprung a leak. A quarter of the tank escaped over a period of 2 days. We took the car to a different shop, which only said to go back to All Tune & Lube. Upon seeing the description of the repair paperwork, the owner was very agitated and started claiming that it's the tank that's defective since I was the one who ordered it. I insisted that he check the car out, and he assigned some newbie mechanic to get the car up. This supposedly trained mechanic then proceeded with removing the back seat of the car (trying to sip it out, then used an air tool) in order to get to the top of the tank. All while the car had an easy access to the fuel pup through the trunk and even the seats fold down to make the access easier. Long story short, after 3 different mechanics including the owner looked underneath the car, they pointed out that a hose connected to the tank, which had to be removed during the installation, had a hole in it. The owner suggested that I go buy the hose and then bring it back for him to reinstall it. I had to drive to 3 different places looking for the part which was a special order $53 from some online Subaru distributor. I informed the owner of the All Tune & Lube of just how expensive this part was and asked if he could maybe throw in an oil change since the hose looked like it sustained damage from a flat screwdriver when being removed. The owner got very annoyed and said that if I continue with this story he will no longer replace the part for free. He continued making an excuse of how the puncture in this 2mm thick hose could've been made by rust in the tank since the hose was probably brittle anyways. The tank was not rusted out inside, by the way. In the 17 years this guy has been in business, he clearly does not care about his customers' satisfaction. He doesn't care in retaining his clients. But what's worse, if he uses some bogus reasoning in a situation like mine, imagine what he would do when his so called "trained" mechanics would damage something a lot more expensive. Do you think he'll try to mend things to make you feel like you haven't been ripped off and taken advantage of? I don't think so! read more
