My husband and I were hoping to try on a few helmets to ensure that we could find the correct fit. It was anything but that. The sales person efforts were short, uninvolved, and disrespectful. Right away this sales person has the odacity to say to us that if we accidentally dropped a helmet, we would be liable for the cost. This statement was completely unwarranted. We're speechless. Really bad business. This is a pattern for this particular store. This is our third attempt to purchase something from them and every time it just gets worse.

I just got it today and the special fuel 2-tone chrome tank which makes the 100th Anniversary what is it, is corroded and rusted. I specifically asked the salesman (Julián Imanol Brutomeso who also seems to be the owner) before I bought it to tell me about any flaws. He said there were none and to just "check the pics". The pics they had online did not show the corrosion on the tank. This tank is $6500 through BMW. When the delivery drivers were still in my driveway I texted the salesman and he said "You saw the pics, it's as advertised" and hasn't responded to me since.

There's a food tent outside on Sunday slinging breakfast burritos and tacos, also worth grabbing before you roll out. The vibe is a mixed bag. Sometimes you get a steady stream of riders pulling in to grab a coffee, smoothie or a sandwich wrap and show off their bikes, which is the best part of the place, good people-watching if you're into motorcycles. Then there's a whole other crowd of trendy Miami types who show up for the aesthetic. The music doesn't help much either imo, tacky electronica that feels like it's trying too hard to be cool and lure the younger trendy crowd with no bikes, i love electronica, but not the tacky edm mainstream type. Bottom line, go for the coffee, the smoothies, the acai bowl and the bikes, tune out the rest. Solid neighborhood hang if you take it for what it is.

Summary: This is a tricky one because I like the services…read morethey provide, and so far their products have been of a good quality, the staff is professional and helpful, but still I feel they are missing that personal relationship you need to have with your bike's "doctors". Technically they have done a great job every time, but personally I feel there's something missing. The Experience: I had a bike, I had my go-to bike shop, but after my bike got old enough to require more money in fixes and repair than what a new one would have cost, I decided to get a new one... almost two years ago, mid pandemic... when bike inventories were low, prices were climbing, and wait times were forever. My regular bike shop was out of models within what I was looking for... so I shopped around and ended up choosing one from Cycle World. I bought an Hybrid Giant Cypress. The salesperson was helpful and knowledgeable, and the store worked with me with a new store credit card. I returned for the first "free" tune up, but a few months later I returned to my regular bike shop for the next tuning, for no other reason than I already have an established relationship with them and they are close to my job so it's easier to get around there. Then I started using my bike a lot more than the previous one, so I started needing more stuff and started working more often from home, so I ended up trying several stores/shops, mainly depending on where I was at the moment I needed something, including returning to Cycle World a couple of times. So far, they've had everything I've needed, and their work has been impeccable, they are helpful, they explain well, the store is organized and easy to navigate... the prices are within the average (well, there are a couple of things on the expensive side, but then again, there are also some good offers)... However, I like to have the more personal treatment I used to have... Other than that, I do recommend Cycle World 100%.
