I have had 10-12 very good experiences with this particular Car X location. I had an issue where my car was making a screeching sound on turns, I went to a car shop and they said something is wrong with brakes and gave me a quote of 350$. I knew its not the brakes as i had recently changes them. On a friends recommendation , I went to Salman and he had his mechanic look at my car and said it was just plastic under the car that was broken and was touching the tire on turn. He cut it off and didn't even charge me any money for it. Second time I had to put an front license plate on my new Audi and I was told to pay between 50 -100$ . Salman did not even charge me and only asked me to tip the mechanic $5 if I wish to. He let me in the shop while fixing the plate so I can have it fixed where I want. Third time, I went for oil change to Meineke and they told me I had issues with my brakes , my suspension, filters and what not and gave me an estimated quote of 1800$. When I showed same quote to Salman , he inspected the car for all of the above and only thing he asked to change was brake pads which he did for 250$ and gave me a free synthetic oil change for future. Its really hard to find good and honest Car Guys. I am so glad I have found one. Really Really recommend this place to everyone.

He took down my info and as I was dialing up and uber apologized for being late as he was dropping off a customer. I mentioned I was going for an uber and he told me not to worry and he would drive me home!!! Seriously what year is this?!? Am I an Chicagoland or some small town in Iowa??! I call a few times to check in status and the owner is very honest about his team trying to catch up on work and apologizes for the delay. I show up to get my car with my $20 off coupon and get a bit more off as an apology for the extensive repair time (7 hours). I don't know what you look for in a repair shop but honesty and quality are super high on my list.

They took my car in with late notice Tuesday morning, had it fixed and back on the road by Tuesday afternoon so I could get to my new job on Wednesday morning. Wednesday when I was driving home from work, I started hearing an awful hissing sound behind the dash. The shop had already closed by the time I would have been making my call so I didn't know exactly what to do. I decided to meet them at the shop when it opened this morning because the guys were so good about getting the previous repair done. I was dreading the thought of having to pay for a second repair in such a short time period (but trust me, that is my luck), and I had resigned myself to that being my reality. I just talked with Jamie at the shop and he said they will be covering the expense for the second repair because they are convinced they should have seen the damage yesterday. I was absolutely elated! Thank goodness for the guys at Mundelein Automotive!
