However, specific to Peak Motion, I was immediately impressed with how friendly, professional and attentive the front office staff was on the first visit. I was treated with the exact same enthusiasm at each successive visit. Inside the clinic, I was equally impressed with the intake procedure and the cleanliness of the facility. The staff's awareness and implementation of disinfection protocols made me feel safe. Every therapist and assistant that guided me through the various treatment routines seemed very knowledgable to me and they made sure that I performed each assigment properly. Finally, I could not help but notice how efficient the entire operation of the clinic and the administrative office was. The teamwork exhibited by all members of the team ensured a seamless process from the beginning to the end.

(In my opinion) Dr. Baca will allow it all to happen (and help with the program that will cause injury). Donna Bryce said I was way too debilitated to continue with physical therapy, but also that I was way too active and independent to need it and could just do yoga. I do need it. It was working, and they (in my opinion/experience) decided to disrupt my treatment. She actively ignored evidence that my range of motion was improving and (after nearly injuring my back herself) refused to do the evaluation after I had had a chance to stretch another part of my body that was preventing me from moving. That was the pretext she used to say I wasn't improving. Why not continue to treat me as the other referrals happen? It is demoralizing and terrible to deal with people who are so clearly being disingenuous and interfering with your health and wellbeing (in my experience/opinion). The need for anyone to curtail someone's medical treatment and flex the authority to define reality and just make things up is unprofessional and sadistic, and shouldn't be tolerated (and in my opinion/experience, that's what happened here)... Upon further reflection, because Dr. Baca wanted to make the conversation go on when they had already told me they were discharging me, it seems like the intent was to get me to agree to cover up that I was injured initially in order to have my treatment continue. I stopped working with the PTAs who ignored my pain (even my tears) and had me do activities that caused me to spend hours of my time stretching to avoid injury. I gave them the opportunity to simply treat me and they seemed to, but I guess it was just to buy time until my evaluation so that they had leverage to get me to pretend it never happened (my opinion/guess based on the bizarre events that transpired)?

We were in the car driving because we live 40+ minutes away. The remaining appointments were silently cancelled shortly after. The office did not bother to call us, we called them before our scheduled appointment to verify. No one answered so we left a message. Our call was not returned. We called another location that didn't offer OT, and they are the ones that told us all our appointments had been cancelled. Without commenting on Maggie's competency, we find the treatment we were given by the front office utterly unacceptable.

I work out regularly and tried everything I knew to resolve the issues, but it had started to negatively affect my new job. From the first appointment, I could tell I was in the right hands. Ted assessed my body and found the reasons for my pain. We started treatment and exercises almost immediately and I felt marked improvement after every visit. After 8 weeks, my pain was completely gone and I'm still going the exercises I was given. I was released from the program but with an open door, I can always go back for a tune-up. This place is amazing! They treat every level of ability including professional athletes to the elderly with care and attention. I ONLY recommend this place for physical therapy in NM!

I was seen for a hip impingement and possible labral tear - I've been dealing with this for years from dancing, and the pain finally got so bad that I couldn't even do everyday activities. I was already scheduled for hip surgery and decided to do physical therapy as a Hail Mary effort to relieve my pain, or at the very least strengthen the surrounding muscles and make surgery recovery easier. My doctor referred me to E6 specifically for dry needling as he said athletes respond to it very well. Ted spent time listening to my concerns, pain levels, and pain when doing different activities in order to understand the severity of the injury. When completing assessments to determine where we would dry needle each week, I was amazed to learn that the significant pain and tightness I felt with just a slight touch around my back, hips, and thighs was actually not normal! I had felt that way for YEARS, and figured everyone else felt the same way too! We had 5 dry needling sessions combined with physical therapy over a 12-week span, and in that time I went from not being able to walk, sit, or do other daily activities without pain to being virtually pain free. I could actually feel the improvements after each session. I now have full range of motion back in my hip, increased strength, and I was even able to cancel my hip surgery! The most exciting part for me is that I can finally dance again after 5-6 years of not being able to due to hip pain and instability. I can go on daily walks now as well - this may seem trivial to some, but for someone who couldn't walk more than 5 minutes without being in excruciating pain it's a miracle! I'm so thankful for the help and compassion that Ted and everyone at E6 showed during my treatment. At 30 years old the last thing I should be worrying about is hip surgery, and thanks to Ted and his team I'm now able to live the active lifestyle that I missed out on for so long due to my injury. My injury took a piece of my identity when I couldn't dance anymore, and it's been so emotionally and physically fulfilling to be able to do what I love again. I wouldn't go anywhere else for physical therapy or dry needling - E6 really is the best!
