Finally got a chance to try their empanadas the last few times I've been here. My favorites are the butter chicken, samosa (vegetarian) and spinach and feta (vegetarian). One empanada is a perfect snack but you can go up to two if you're eating them for a meal! Everyone who works here is kind and the ambiance is generally quiet and great for working. Most tables keep the volume low (think library rules). Outlet tables are at a premium though so make sure to get there early or be willing to wait for one to open up. This cafe also hosts community events at night! They have a silent book club each month and recently seem to have added art classes. Plus, they have board games available all through the day. I was drawn to try this place after seeing they had a 100% approval rating on Apple Maps. When I walked in I was expecting a typical coffee shop menu with croissants, muffins, etc. They did have those options, but I was pleasantly surprised to see more unique items like their empanadas and baklava. I ordered a baklava finger and strawberry matcha. The matcha was good, but the baklava was amazing! I would go back again just to get more of that. I stopped by MOTW Coffee and had their pistachio coffee--absolutely delicious! The flavor was smooth, nutty, and perfectly balanced without being too sweet. First of all what a blessing for Cedar Hill. This coffee shop came at a perfect time for the city. The service was fast and the employees were so kind. The coffee is hands down the best in the town. We tried the iced biscoff latte with biscoff cold foam and the Carmel avalanche iced latte with vanilla cold foam. The coffee was a 10/10 I am glad we got a large for both. Now you also know we had to try some kind of food option, we got the samosa empanada. It was so flavorful, soft, and tasted like they made them in house. HIGHLY recommend giving this place a try asap. I can definitely see this being a popular place soon. read more

Such a great atmosphere to work in, try out, or just gather in general. The barista provided suggestions as I was torn between the oh honey or the cookie butter latte. It so much I can rave on and on about this establishment. I can say I'm thankful as a Cedar Hill resident of 10 years that they hit all the check marks of what makes an amazing business. They're now my favorite coffee and pastry spot hands down! Elated that they are only 7 minutes away from me. Every single person (youthful which I love that they hire younger people within the area) has the best dispositions. Courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, thoughtful and thorough. The owners are both phenomenal people! They make sure to greet and engage with their customers freely. It feels like home when I'm in there. Me and my sister/Bestie found this spot because we do weekly visits to different coffee spots in the metroplex every Wednesday. We call ourselves "The Coffee Cuties ". It is our favorite and that's the reason we've been back to this location 4 times already. Since, I live close by I frequent it more. My fav is the new cocoa pistachio latte! It's so freaking delish and I just love the butter chicken empanada and the feta-n-spinach one too. Pastries my two favs the red velvet muffin and the almond croissant.
