Beyond the oil change, he gave me a printout of the recommended services for my car (the dealer never gave me anything like that). He checked both the air filters, which were Absolutely Filthy!!! I don't think it's too much to expect a used car to at least have new air filters. Also, when I bought the car and took it on the open road for a 10 hour drive, I discovered that neither the cruise control nor the car charger worked! So, I asked Herald if he thought the charger might just be a fuse. He checked and it was. He fixed it in two minutes or less. I'm not even sure he charged me for that. He was so clearly fully cognizant about all things mechanical, and he emanated trustworthiness like crazy. Unfortunately JR's has gone from my favorite and most trusted shop to a place that I can't trust their knowledge on vehicles.
