I'm not sure why this place has negative reviews! I've been here twice and both times had great experiences with amazing customer service! We purchased "The Best" exterior wash. 1- First time when we arrived, we had no idea how the automatic car wash worked. The clerk told us that its fully automated and we just had to put our car on neutral and everything else will be taken care of. Also, he mentioned that our car hood had a stain on it, which may have been caused from parking in a garage. We do park in a garage, since we live in NYC. Unbeknownst to us, it turns out the Parking garage spot that our car was parked in, had our car underneath something that was dripping salt on it which tarnished the front hood. If left untreated, this could have damaged the paint permanently! Luckily, Mount Ivy Car wash was able to wax the stain off completely, thus saving us hundreds of dollars for a new paint job! 2- The second time we came, we weren't even in town. We were in the area and specifically drove here since our 1st experience was so great. We had another great experience. All of the staff that we've encountered at Mt. Ivy Car Wash are hardworking and go above and beyond! Highlight- this is truly an automatic car wash. Put your car on netural and enter the automatic car wash and come out with a spankin' clean car! I drove in for a quick car wash and the line was a bit long. Now I was trapped like a rat. I noticed the prices were over double what they used to be. $9.00 for the wash and get the hell out of here wash. The cheapest wash including vacuuming was $29.00 I asked the attendant what happened and he grinned under his mask and said, oh its so busy, look at the line. Karma is a bitch so I am hoping when people figure out they can go elsewhere for an complete in and out wash for $16.00 his line will not be so long. read more

Beware of using MT. IVY CARWASH Our car was damaged this morning at this car wash. Mid-way through we heard a loud BANG and soon realized that the equipment dented our front quarter panel. Mark the owner, stated that he could not find any video, while his son stated that the DVR system was not working. Mark refused to acknowledge any responsibility. Used self serve bay. Bays filled with slush & ice, treacherous conditions...not at all maintained. No credit card reader in bay...had to use 20 quarters...directed to app, no help accessing controls... employees not very helpful. read more

I honestly could not think of any negative comments to share with you that might steer you away from doing business with this car wash. Positives: ALWAYS friendly customer service. Price is right for the service they provide. My car rims are difficult to clean. They make sure they clean them by hand BEFORE my car enters the wash. After 10 car washes, they give you a free wash. Not happy with the results! For $27 I expect a very clean vehicle which is not what I received. Dirty wheels, tires, running boards, wheel wells and the windows have smear marks all over. Bugs on front of car and mirrors. They then put a bunch of tire shine on the dirty wheels which ends up all over your vehicle as you drive. read more

The hardware used to take coins and change the settings (wash, rinse, etc.) are very old and do NOT work well. If you want to take the chance of losing your money, use this carwash. The owners are nasty as well. read more

i went to this place because this was the first car wash that popped up on my GPS. The staff is friendly but they did a very poor job of cleaning my car. I went to this place to clean all the salt that was on my car. there was still salt left on the hard to reach spots that the car wash couldnt get. i have better to others and they make sure they get those spots when they dried my car off they did a horrible job of wiping down the war so i have water spots all over the car. I asked them to put tire shine on the car and they are not shiny at all. Also my rims look like they didnt even wash them because of the residue from the tire shine. all i can say it i have gone to better ones. They only take cash.... read more

We come here whenever we are in town. In fact, my boyfriend specifically saves his car wash for our trips to Pomona. We have also gotten the car detailed here, and really loved the result. These people do a consistently good job and are very detailed-orientated. Overall an amazing value. read more

Staff is always so friendly , they have the same people working there for years and it's nice to be remembered even though I don't "frequently" get my car washed they remember and even with a "new" car!! They always do what I want done to my car and they always ask if it's good - And when I get my car cleaned I want it PERFECT and I ALWAYS choose to go here bc I know they will do the best job and they will go a little extra upon request!
