Best eggs Benedict in the valley. Simple, true, CLASSIC. May look simple, but truly savory and flavorful. MELISSA APPROVED

I recently ordered takeout from the Mt Si Golf Course's restaurant, from where i've gotten food before, and once again I was left with some disappointment. Before, I tried their Biscuits & Gravy which tasted of straight butter that overwhelmed my mouth so much that I could not take a second bite. Secondly, I got the Mushroom Omelette special which was okay, but could've used a little something to balance it more, and Thirdly, I got the Ham & Cheese Omelette Breakfast Platter that came with 2 pancakes, "hash-browns", and eggs. The pancakes tasted like soapy play dough which was really disappointing because pancakes are kinda hard to mess up. The omelette was good but boring, the potatoes needed seasoning but were edible, and the eggs didn't even have salt or pepper. In my opinion, not worth $19 (around $22 after tax, not including tip). The girl who answered the phone seemed to be bothered that I called and the older short gal at the register seemed to be dismissive and grumpy towards us and her coworkers. The restaurant looked like it could use some updating on the decor, maybe some fresh paint, new tables and chairs, those kinds of things. Not the worst experience i've had at a restaurant but definitely one that's worth taking note for future decisions.

A favorite local spot intermixed with golfers from around the region. The food portions are generous and consistently good. My husband's favorite is breakfast before 2pm and I am sold on the steak salad or spinach omelet. Even on the busiest days the waitstaff are friendly and attentive. I always feel like I am among friends.

What a gem of a restaurant! Many of my neighbors recommended this spot for the breakfast in town, and it might be one of the best breakfast spots I've been to in the Seattle area. When I arrived around 8am on a Saturday morning, the parking lot was packed. That being said, the restaurant shares the golf course parking lot. When I entered, the restaurant only had a few tables taken. You seat yourself, and as soon as I was seated, a server brought me a menu and water. My husband and I ordered eggs Benedict, chicken fried steak, a side of bacon, and a pancake (one was enough to share between the two of us). The food came out quickly and was delicious! We will certainly be returning in the future.

Great little restaurant at Mt. Si Golf Course. Met up with my brother and lunched out on their deck. So relaxing. Order their clam chowder and salad. Really great and fresh. Excellent grilled chicken green salad.

Good burgers and good breakfast. A nice deck to sit on when the weather is good. It's fun to watch the golfers hit their approach shots.

A truly unbelievably, breathtaking venue…read more From the first visit, Evergreen Meadows (and especially Melissa), was so wonderful to us. They answered all of our questions, reassured us, and provided so so much help leading up to the wedding day. Our guests RAVED about the venue! The nature and landscaping is so well taken care of that there was hardly a need to decorate. The tent with twinkle lights was the cherry on top, making it a truly magical night. The bridal and groom suite were well suited for our needs, plenty of room for the hair and makeup artist, and the bridal suite also came with an industrial steamer! Parking is a little limited for the venue, but really not too bad. Far enough from the city that there was no car sounds. Even though I can't provide a lot of photos because we only had our wedding a week ago since writing this, trust that it is beautiful and GET MARRIED HERE!!! I only wish they sold some kind of ornament so we could have a keepsake of this gorgeous location! QUICK PROS: tables and all chairs are provided for, rehearsal dinner space provided (1 hour), ability to add on more hours if needed, free to decorate as long as no lasting marks are used, tent provided with venue, responsive and helpful team, clean venue (truly every part was photographable) And quick shoutout to my photographer: @/jelenarowden.photo

What a difference 40 years makes…read more I was at the Salish Lodge on a business trip for a week in 1989, and it was one of the most lovely experiences I've ever had. By the end of the first day, every valet and front desk person knew all of us by name, and they bent over backward to be helpful and treat us like valued guests even though we were working an event and weren't the ones paying for the rooms. (Our company had bought out the entire lodge, which was much smaller at the time.) All the guest rooms at that time faced the river and had a beautiful view of it. Not so anymore, as they've renovated the lodge and many rooms have either no view or a view of trees (definitely beautiful) but not the river. The latter was our experience. There was a tiny glimpse to be had if you peered far off to the right, but otherwise our view was the trees. This was disappointing simply because we didn't know the place had been added on to and now had non-river view rooms. My husband, who had given me this trip as a Christmas present, was very disappointed and asked if there were any river view rooms available instead. Sure -- for $700. (No thanks.) We stayed in our $400+ tree view room instead, but honestly, this room is about $250 overpriced. For that price, one would expect everything to be in perfect condition, plus a large-ish room. Not the case in ours. It's smaller than the size of a standard La Quinta or Comfort Inn type of room, has no dresser or drawers to unpack your clothes (unless you remove the iron from the 6"x6" drawer it's stored in), and the "closet" is an IKEA-like unit in the entryway of the room. There's a fireplace, a TV, and a small desk, plus two chairs crammed into the corner, and a narrow balcony outside to listen to -- not see -- the river. The bathroom has a shower with two rain-style shower heads, so bring something to cover your hair if you don't want to drench it every time you shower. (The hotel doesn't provide shower caps -- only a small bottle of lotion and some Q-tips and a make-up removal wipe that doesn't remove makeup. It's just to keep you from getting it on the white towels.) As to the room's condition -- There are lamps on each side of the bed. Mine had a wonky switch that had to be jiggled just so in order to work. It's supposed to be dimmable, but mine was either on or off. There is also a reading light built into the headboard. Mine didn't work. Also, water was shooting out the side of one of the shower heads where it connects to the pipe in the wall. I did tell the front desk the next morning, and they offered to move us to another room. I didn't want to have to pack up all my stuff and move to another room that may have had less of a view than we already had, so I told them we were leaving for the day and asked that someone come in to fix the issues. They did, but about six hours after I put in the request, my husband received a text asking when it would be convenient for them to come in. Needless to say, communication between the staff isn't great. As of this writing (getting ready to check out on Day 4), now the fireplace isn't working. It stopped last nigh

Our bartenders, servers, and other day-of staff were also wonderful and made a real effort to take care of us. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of what we expected from a wedding venue at this price point. Our biggest concern was that the venue seems to be trying to accommodate both its golf-club members and wedding parties at the same time, and throughout our wedding day, it often felt like the wedding was secondary to the members. We completely understand that this is a private club and there are separate spaces for members. However, despite paying a significant amount to host our wedding there, The overall tone of rules and directions made us feel like we had to walk on eggshells and hide from members, rather than feeling welcomed and celebrated. All the members we encountered were lovely and happy for us. On the day of our wedding (end of July), two large metal bleachers were being set up directly behind the ceremony/photo area for the Boeing Classic(takes place mid August), partially obstructing the view behind the arch- the main reason we chose this venue in the first place. The structure was clearly not put up overnight and was not communicated to us. It was put up earlier than expected, but wasn't brought up until the day of the wedding, after we mentioned it. There were no apologies or attempts to right the situation sadly. At minimum, we would have appreciated the opportunity to discuss the situation or receive some accommodation. Several members of our party and our day-of coordinator had to rearrange seating to try to minimize the obstruction, with push back from their staff, but the structure is still visible in a majority of our photos. Overall, this is a beautiful venue with excellent food and some truly wonderful staff. However, our experience left us feeling that the venue is trying to have the best of both worlds -- maintaining the experience and priorities of a private golf club while also hosting weddings -- without always giving wedding couples the level respect, hospitality, and communication expected, even though we too are paying a significant amount. For couples considering this venue, I would temper expectations around hospitality and prioritization of weddings over members. I would also caution booking around Boeing classic weekend if you are looking mid to end of July. When we brought these concerns kindly to management, we have been met with weeks of follow up to get a response. A phone call was returned to my sister in law and all our points were refuted without hospitality, apologies, or kindness. The couple has attempted to connect with the manager, as he promised, with weeks of follow up and no response. I wanted to give them a fair chance to right wrongs before posting this. I'd likely have chosen a different venue after this experience.

I heard that in the past it was buffet style and I'm so glad they don't do that anymore and it's done family style. Family style just gives you so much more style and time to really commune with those you're there with. I hate buffet style meals, to me it's very wasteful and academic. I was there to visit and make friends and being able to eat and share food around the like family was sooo more relaxed. You could tell by all the laughter and conversations going on around us also. The benches all over was nice to go and be able to chat with friends or just sit in quiet by yourself. Super comfy beds, slept like a dream. Oh I also loved that coffee was made super early in the morning and was kept full all day so you could get coffee or tea all day long and they had clean mugs for you to use. Which were nice cus you definitely knew which mug was yours by the design and was easy to track where your coffee was. Everything was super clean and nice to be able to relax and enjoy the company of those I was there with. Loved that there are dispensers of shampoo and conditioner and body wash in the showers. This is a must stay place for retreats or large family gatherings.

Anyway, I came in around noon on Sunday, so basically brunch time, and ordered the French Toast with Macrina cinnamon swirl brioche, vanilla bean, and real maple syrup. I also added a side of two eggs, which I believe I got over medium. I walked around for a bit while waiting for my order, and when I went to pick it up, one of the guys working there repeatedly asked if everything was all right. I'm not entirely sure what prompted that, but the interaction felt a little awkward. I ate inside at my own table. The French toast itself was good, but definitely too sweet for me. I used maybe three-quarters of the maple syrup they provided, which admittedly didn't help my cause, but even apart from that, the cinnamon-swirl brioche was already quite sweet. If you're ordering it, I'd recommend going easy on the syrup at first and adding more as needed. Overall, decent post-race brunch and the French toast tasted good, but between the sweetness and the slightly awkward experience, I'd give it 3/5. 3/5 stars Last visited: August 30, 2026
