We love this barbecue joint! Friendliest staff and owner. Adorable shop in an old historical building with a little covered outdoor patio area. I have always enjoyed the Si Board or Hobbnaw pulled pork sandwich with slaw. They recently added the Sequoia Pork to the menu which is a pulled pork sandwich with chimichurri and it is amazing! My family also loves their creamy mac n cheese. Really fun and yummy cocktails too.

Stopped by around 7pm for dinner. There is a small parking lot specifically for the restaurant, but there is a lot of free parking right outside as well. Staff were super friendly. There is a lot of indoor seating and some outdoor seating as well. The interior seating area is super cool and very clean. I ordered the Dave's Way brisket sandwich and a small beans and a small mac & cheese. It was the one of the best mac & cheese I've ever had. I also loved the sandwich. Was also excited to see the excellent cleanliness rating. I would totally come back.

Mixed reviews on our dinner at Buckshot Honey. My husband loved the brisket sandwich. For me, an almost $20 sandwich should be better as I had lots of fat on my sandwich. BUT I do agree the meat was quality and the challah bread bun was absolutely fabulous. The venue was incredibly dark with eclectic music - definitely did not make me want to spend much time hanging out and I couldn't wait to leave. If we try it again, I'd do takeout as I did not want to be there

Stop in for dinner before the Operation K9 Companion concert with Chris Janson at Snoqualmie Casino. First time visit. Love the vibe here. The food is very deserving of the reputation. The BBQ is amazing. You have got to try the vegan collard greens - mind blown (no beef used in recipe).. Even if you don't care for collard greens (like me), please try them. They are a treat! The cooks and bartender were amazing and answered questions and made some very excellent suggestions. New best BBQ in western WA here. Stop in and enjoy this food!

Troubadour Tea; honey, lemon, rosemary. Delicious!!!

Would def come back again! Randomly stumbled on this place and it did not disappoint. Friendly service, cozy vibes, and tasty bbq!! no complaints about the food at all, everything had great flavor. Brisket was juicy and tender with big flaky salt. Sides were also great; greens were tangy, mac was creamy, and beans were hearty. If you're in town or not too far away, would stop!

Very rude response from someone about my fatty meat & their lack of being reasonable in their menu offerings.

Rudest lady who works there. I asked her why I couldn't order a 1/2 lb of each meat at the highest 1 lb price they offer (which is $39 for 1 lb of brisket, no sides). She insisted I had to pay for two orders of 1/2 lb each, which comes out an extra $5 just because you're paying the premium 1/2 lb price. Such a rip off when I'm literally buying 1 lb of meat. Her explanation was that "you get a discount for larger orders" & I am like "yeah, I am ordering a whole lb!" So I paid for a lb of brisket (@ $39), didn't get any pulled pork, and it was the fattiest brisket I've ever received. I filled out the review when I received my receipt & someone wrote me a really unprofessional and snotty response, which I will share here. I won't ever support this company again & I should have walked out when they wouldn't let me split my lb (while still paying the highest per lb price they offer). Based on the way the owner responds to other 1 star reviews....it's not looking good!, Wow - I used a filter?? Nice try. What filter would show fat that wasn't there? Pls tell me. Keep on deluding yourself to prop up your ego. Editing to give +2 stars for the owner's obvious passion - even though it might be a little misguided. I feel a little sorry for him now. He should focus more on being passionately invested in customer service, not passionately defending his reviews. That's never a good look for any business owner, especially when they try to say people are using filters when there is no evidence of that at all & my photos aren't filtered, I just moved the food around to showcase the fat.

Quaint location with friendly, quick service. Unfortunately, the brisket was almost as dry as the cornbread. The meat wasn't juicy at all and needed to be lathered in sauce just to revive it. The cornbread was like one of those silica packets that absorb all moisture, and the cold butter it was served with didn't help. However, the mac and cheese was a godsend--al dente noodles, velvety sauce, and plenty of cheese stretch. The collard greens were wonderfully zesty and vinegary (which I love). The potato salad was delicious too--flavorful without being overly mayo-y. The pulled pork was great--juicy and tender. They have a small parking lot, but it fills up quickly. The interior of the restaurant is also extremely small, so your best bet is to eat outside on their covered patio.

Buckshot Honey delivered one of the best casual dining experiences we've had in a long time. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich special, and it was outstanding. The chicken had a fantastic mesquite seasoning, paired perfectly with a pickled jalapeño aioli that added just the right balance of heat and tang. The bun was fresh and held everything together without getting soggy, which made the whole sandwich even better. I went with the mac and cheese bowl, and it was pure comfort food done right. The rich, creamy cheese sauce over large shell noodles was excellent on its own, but adding brisket took it to another level. The cornbread crumbles and potato chips added great texture, and a drizzle of Buckshot Honey BBQ sauce tied everything together. Every bite was loaded with flavor. What really stood out was the owner working behind the bar. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely engaged with guests, constantly checking in and making conversation. You can tell he takes real pride in his restaurant, and it shows in both the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommend Buckshot Honey. We're already looking forward to coming back and working our way through the rest of the menu. And hopefully that chicken sandwich special makes its way onto the regular menu soon.

The bread is so pillowy soft you don't lose all of the meat trying to bite through it.

Finally got the chance to stop in and try Buckshot Honey. It didn't disappoint. Two of us split the Uncle Phil, no sides simply because one we had a short hike planned for afterwards. It's expensive, but something that takes that much time to prepare is going to be. Is it worth, absolutely. The meat was smoked perfectly, the peppers and horseradish mayo subtly incorporated, and the macrina roll is so soft that you can eat the sandwich without all of the ingredients ending up on your plate. Great location, perfectly executed, and lunch for $10/each, that's 5 stars every time.

VERY good BBQ!!! Cute atmosphere on the inside. You go in, order, and then sit down and they bring you your food. You get your own water in a huge glass (love that). Liked the selection of beer (and one cider) they had. We enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend someone come out and try it.

Super neat joint, collard greens were phenomenal! They were out brisket and didn't have sausage so I went with the pork butt and I was very pleased. Properly juicy with bits of bark, nice complementing vinegar sauce as well. Great beers on tap and friendly folks. Obv will have to go back to sample the rest.

Fun spot for bbq! The restaurant is small and is set up in an old bank building in the cute town of Snoqualmie. I got the hoggnaw sandwich, and the pulled pork was tender and juicy without being heavy on flavor. I got the mac and cheese and collared greens as sides, which were tasty as well. The portion was pretty filling. You order at the counter and bus your own table. There is inside and outside seating with bathrooms inside. Parking is street parking

    Hoggnaw sandwich

Ordered a Hoggnaw and a side of kids mac n cheese. The bun tasted dry and the meat was smoked but also dry and just not the best flavor. *Hence we did come from TX so expectations may have been high. Mac n Cheese tasted like velvety cheese. Service was good but food was expensive and disappointing, considering the ratings.

Wings with a kind of garlic ranch dip, mac & cheese, & brussel sprouts.

It's one of those magical places you remember vividly from childhood. We hiked the viewpoint path all the way down (and back up! ) before dinner. We had to change out of our sweaty hiking clothes in the parking lot. We were seated at a window view 4-top. (If you are frequent diners you'll understand how luxurious a 4-top is in a busy restaurant.) Our awesome server Damon started us with complimentary sparkling wine as an anniversary treat. Later came a small amuse bouche of dressed cherry tomatoes over what I think is the same pesto shown in the Romani beans photo. (We both have a tendency to start eating things before we remember to take the picture.) Our appetizer was the Burrata Cheese plate w/charred tomato & eggplant, lemon, over grilled olive bread. We ate it all before remembering to take a picture. (See previous paragraph.) He had the Cedar Smoked-Salmon in Dungeness crab and corn bisque, which I can't review because he wouldn't share any. I had the 14oz. Classic Center Cut Ribeye, which as you can see I tucked into before taking the shot. The steak was a perfect medium-rare and the Green peppercorn demi-glace is killer. Our sides were the Northwest Grits & Cheese Curds and a special that night of Romano Green Beans in Pesto. We fought over the last of the grits and took the last of the beans home for dinner the next night along with half of my ribeye. Dessert: What can I say? I hate sharing dessert to begin with. And this one, Peaches & Cream; cheesecake on butter cake,(shortbread) with roasted peach compote, bourbon salted caramel sauce, and house made butter pecan ice cream (and candied walnuts) We got 2. I ate all of mine and he ate all of his. Everyone was happy. For the full meal deal the total was $319 before tip. We had a $300 gift card. The lodge is only 25 minutes up the pass from us and we plan to go back again for drinks and apps at the Terrace Bar overlooking the falls. It's a lovely place.

Anyway, I came in around noon on Sunday, so basically brunch time, and ordered the French Toast with Macrina cinnamon swirl brioche, vanilla bean, and real maple syrup. I also added a side of two eggs, which I believe I got over medium. I walked around for a bit while waiting for my order, and when I went to pick it up, one of the guys working there repeatedly asked if everything was all right. I'm not entirely sure what prompted that, but the interaction felt a little awkward. I ate inside at my own table. The French toast itself was good, but definitely too sweet for me. I used maybe three-quarters of the maple syrup they provided, which admittedly didn't help my cause, but even apart from that, the cinnamon-swirl brioche was already quite sweet. If you're ordering it, I'd recommend going easy on the syrup at first and adding more as needed. Overall, decent post-race brunch and the French toast tasted good, but between the sweetness and the slightly awkward experience, I'd give it 3/5. 3/5 stars Last visited: August 30, 2026
