Was glamping at Denny Creek and drove up to Snoqualmie summit to have lunch at The Commonwealth, A+ experience to say the least. This place had such a fun vibe!! The theme was super unique and the decorations were so fun to look at. It was pretty busy in there when we went, but we were still able to get sat pretty quickly at a hightop by the bar. It did kind of suck to get sat there after all because our server was the bartender, and she was super busy with everyone there, which of course was understandable just unfortunate for our experience. It didn't take her a long time to greet us, but we hadn't decided on what we were ordering yet so after she took our drinks it took a while for her to come back to take our order. I think she also might have forgotten to put in our order because our food came in at the same time as another couple next to us who arrived around 25-30 minutes after we did. That was another thing: we were sat at a hightop table that they had sat another couple at the other end with a space in between us, but then halfway through they asked to sit another couple in the empty space between us. It was a really tight squeeze and I understand that it was packed, but I just think squeezing three different parties at one table was super uncomfortable and we barely had room for all the food we ordered. The table was already super close to the bar and the people sat behind us had to ask us to scoot in anytime they needed to get by to use the restroom. The food was good!! I didn't get a photo, but we ordered the sweet and spicy teriyaki wings to start which were sooo amazing. My husband said that they were the best wings he has ever had! For our mains, we both ordered burgers and fries. We also ordered a cup of chili, and the appetizer Mac and Cheese to split as well. The burgers were really good, but really kind of small for the price tag. The fries and chili were also really good. The Mac and Cheese looked and sounded really good, but the cheese sauce was super watery. The breadcrumb topping was pretty good, but I don't think that I would order it again. They also have really good sauces! We got the ranch, garlic aioli, and the chipotle aioli. The wings were definitely the best part of the whole experience! I think this place would be a lot better if it hadn't have been so busy. However, I doubt that this happens very often since it is very close to a hotel, and it's one of the only restaurants in that area. Ordered a veggie burger and their Beecher's Dru Bru Mac & Cheese to go. They both delicious! The Mac sauce had a very nice béchamel base making super creamy. Whatever beer they used mellowed out the sharpness of the Beecher's and complimented it very well. The green onions and potato chip topping adding a nice crunchy texture and a big salty flavor boost. The house made Veggie Burger might honestly be one of the best I've ever had. It had so much flavor and I can only speculated but it seemed like it was made of a blend of quinoa, brown rice, black beans, mushrooms, sweet potato, onion, carrot, garlic, and pepper. It had a nice seared crispy edge and a moist but not mushy interior. Great mouthfeel and actually tasted like well seasoned veggies forming a burger. The garlic aioli on top was phenomenal. Their lettuce and tomato was very fresh. And the bun was so pillowy! Will definitely be back again for another amazing post-hike meal. read more

Love Love Love coming here. Maybe because it's a comfort place. But still Love coming here. If you go and Nathan is working, ask to sit in his area and tell him Denice said Hi. If you're a person of color and want to support a brother, ask to sit in Nathan's area. Haven't had anything yet that I haven't enjoyed on the menu. And I enjoy trying the different non-IPA beers. Most seating is communal, long connected tables that utilizes the space the best and supports connection. There's some bar seating and outdoor seating. It's a family-friendly place and it's busy and loud as hell in the Winter season. I'm not the only person who loves this place. Vegans and vegetarians can find something but won't have a lot of options. I came back once when I was overcharged but didn't notice it right away. They immediately corrected the mistake without making me prove anything or feel like a criminal. Zero drama. I really appreciated that. This is a Community Place and in the beginning not being a regular season pass holder I definitely felt like an "outsider". Even though I only get there half a dozen times a year, I now feel super comfortable there even solo. Food was fresh, hot, and tasty! I had the burger, slightly undercooked but still tasted great. We were hiking nearby and decided to grab a bite. I noticed a review about the chicken sandwich which made it sound necessary, so we called in an order. They had a decent crowd but our order was ready extremely fast. We chose that crispy chicken sandwich with fries and the friend dip with homemade chips. We had plans of splitting, but I loved the chicken so much and the husband preferred the dip, so we went our separate ways. He really enjoyed his sandwich, although the chips were only okay compared to the potato wedges, so I was forced to share those...luckily there were enough or I might have been stingy. It's a warm and cozy place; with seating inside and outside. Decor is really interesting. Staffs were super friendly and helpful. The wait time was around 45 mins. We ordered Veggie Burger, Grilled Cheese & Tomato Basil Soup, Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and Crispy Brussels Sprouts. The food arrived quickly. Loved the food. It's quite a comfort food. Portion is adequate. The Crispy Brussels Sprouts was a real surprise. The burger comes with a load of crispy potato wedges. Don't think anyone would really e able to finish it! Food is great. This is a great in door outdoor spot close to the house which is great we can just walk down. The food is good and the atmosphere is great. They also have a bar with spots tv as well, fire place, and music. It is definitely a cute spot. My babies loved it and they had coloring for the kids. It's kid and dog friendly. Stopped in for a late lunch after doing a hike nearby. Grabbed a seat at the bar, which was perfect since I was solo. One of the bartenders got me a beer right away which was perfect as I browsed their online menu. With some serious hiker hunger taking over, I opted for the no brainer option and picked the burger, adding bacon and avocado. I think the order was out in about 10 minutes or so, which was fantastic. The burger was phenomenal and probably my favorite besides the one at Old Stove. It's a good sized patty coupled with a nice garlic aioli. I'm usually not as big of a fan of potato wedges but they were hot and crispy. Fast and efficient service. My friend and I were traveling to eastern Washington for a gal's weekend and we left on a Friday after work when of course, traffic was shitty. I-90 was reduced to one lane around the Pass, so we decided to grab a beer and wait for traffic to die down. It was a good decision. We wanted to visit Dru Bru Brewery next door, but the entire patio section was full. So we decided to go next door to The Commonwealth where they had a larger patio, plus Dru Bru beer and other libations. We were able to seat ourselves and found a spot by the fire pit. Service was slow because it looked like there was one server for most of the patio area. But we weren't in a hurry, since we were just wanting to chill with a beer instead of waste gas in stop-and-go traffic. I had the Dru Bru Hop Session IPA while my friend had a cider. IPA was solid. We had dinner plans already, but the food looked appetizing. The menu featured a handful of different, classic items. I'll have to dine here next time. The setting was chill here, and love that the Pass has this small area of businesses where people can hang out after playing on the mountain...or stopping by en route to eastern Washington. read more

This visit was totally a shot in the dark but ended up as a bullseye. I loved this chicken sandwich so much I legit wanted a second one immediately after. The chicken was moist and delicious and the breading crispy. The potato wedges had a perfect salt layer and a great crunch with creamy interior. Hungry yet? The pièce de résistance was the fry sauce (yes I'm going full français over some spiced mayo). Chipotle-seasoned and offering an excellent amount of heat, I used up two full dipping dishes. I even tried some on the sandwich unnecessarily since it needed nothing extra. I wish I lived closer than 460 miles to this place because I would definitely go here again. During our Seattle vacation we decided to drive outside the city and see what the mountain views were like. Along the drive, we stumbled upon this little gem. This restaurant is right next to a ski life, ski museum and Dru Bru's (another patron told me they are possibly all owned by the same company). We decided to get an afternoon snack here and sit inside for a few. They have family style seating as well as a counter that goes along the window where you can look out. They also have a patio outside with picnic tables and you can bring your pet. The menu is a one pager - we ordered a cup of beefalo chili (yes that is beef and buffalo meat mixed together) and it was really good. Hubby was most impressed with the spinach artichoke appetizer - it was all fresh - fresh artichoke, spinach and shaved Parmesan. It melted together as we stirred it. I definitely recommend both items. Overall our server was friendly and helpful. One weird thing that happened is our server was helpful others for a few, so I asked another server if we could have some butter (fro the cornbread). It seemed to be complicated and a big deal. He then asked another server, who went to the food pickup area, but then came back out and went and told my server.
