He took the time to listen to my concerns, ordered appropriate labs, adequately informed me what was going to be extra vs. what would normally be covered. A few weeks later, we had a televisit in which he went in depth in discussing my labs. All communication outside that for referrals and additional labs are done by via text. Whether you have a standing appointment or need to come in for immediate care, you will be accommodated and well taken care of. Dr. Kobren and the group here are part of NYU Langone Medical and they are well equipped to handle your PCP needs. They also do great with cardiac care. Their equipment is top notch and most of the testing you need for basic, non-emergency care can be handled right on the building. They share the floor with dentists Drs. Lawrence Kobren and Michael Greenbaum and the shared waiting area has been completely renovated and remodeled not too long ago. It is very attractive and clean and can accommodate plenty of patients. You can also watch a little TV to make your wait time pass a little quicker and more enjoyably.

It's odd to me why none of the practitioners at One Medical did not think of running this one simple test. Due to that fact, I ended up incurring expensive medical bills. When I reached out to discuss this issue, I got no response initially and then finally someone responded back after I followed up with them. Ultimately, they thought that my medical care was adequate. The customer service was so surprising because I've been a client of theirs for many years. Back in the day, their practice was predominantly doctors and now all you can see are nurse practitioners. I'm not disrespecting nurses but I would expect a practice to actually have more doctors who would be more knowledgeable and understand the types of test that needs to be run.

How could they not know this earlier and reach out to reschedule? They just expect me to take time off again during a work week to come in? I chose the membership because I wanted a more efficient way to see doctors but they made it harder and more difficult than just any traditional doctor's office out there. On the phone with an administrative assistant, complained about the situation and asked to speak with someone about cancelling the membership. She did not even try to keep me as a member at all, and didn't even bother to let me speak anyone. All I knew was my membership is canceled and I will get the refund.
