Been skiing at Mt Snow for almost 40 years...stopped going about ten years ago and decided to head up last Sunday becuase it cut off the travel time since I needed to be back for dinner. As I remember from the past..great snow, great grooming (better than a much bigger place a bit north where I skiied last week)...and it has grown significantly. Yeah my first review on Yelp! Took a day trip with New York Snowboarding Group from Meetup.com. The bus was really nice! A pimp ride! Clean and had satellite so we can watch the Jets game against the Steelers. I personally would not be doing the day trips to Vermont. The ride is just too long and you have to get up really early. Those three-day trip weekend would be sweet. Okay, anyone that has great customer service will get an automatic 4 stars from me. Everyone said thank you and asked me how I was doing. It's so refreshing! Loved the slopes. I think I rode the Long John trail all day. Hot waffle on slopes. hmmmmmmm I wished they had a changing room. The reason for 4 stars not 5. My 7 year old son did 3-days of ski school this week. Very friendly and fun instructors. He was confident enough to get on the ski lift himself and come down the slopes himself by the end of the 3 days. Decent restaurant options, nothing fancy. Overall a positive and fun experience. read more

Skied Mt Snow this weekend. The conditions were amazing! This of course brought out EVERYONE! I was glad to see so many people skiing and having a good time. Mt. Snow is different than most of the other ski resorts in NE. A lot of the trails are wide open, which more consistent with the rest of the world. Even when it is crowded, I still find that I have plenty of space to ski. The lines were super long at Blue Bird (covered six person chair lift), so we spent most of the day on the North Face. I LOVE the trails on this side of the mountain. Olympic and Fallen Timbers are two of my all-time favorite runs in NE. There were no lines and we skied until our legs fell off. The North Face isn't served with high speed lifts, but it is good to give your legs a chance to rest. I do not go off-piste, but members of my group were raving about the glades off the North Face. When it is was warmer we were able to take the Grand Summit Express (high speed quad) and made some runs on Little John. We definitely had a full day of skiing. Teens seem to spend most of their time on Carinthia. This helps to mitigate potential negative interactions, i.e., there isn't perceived aggressive skiing in "family zones". For lunch we went to the summit lodge, which is in desperate need of renovation, especially if you compare it to Killington's summit lodge. The food was marginal. The skiing was so good I will give them a pass. read more

I've been coming to Mount Snow for years and it has always had its ups and downs. I'm posting specifically about the new Carinthia Lodge. The building is absolutely gorgeous. In terms of aesthetics and size, it's a big upgrade from the original lodge, which they tore down. The food operation is not ready for primetime. I'm here taking a break for lunch on a holiday weekend, which is clearly a peak moment for the resort. yet they appear to be dramatically understaffed. For hundreds of diners, there are literally 5 people working behind the food counters. There are supposed to be 5 savory food stations, yet only three are open. My son and I switched from the specialty grill line to the sandwich line because the former appear to be at least a half-hour wait, yet it appears the sandwich line is not much better. (Beware, ski resorts: people standing on line waiting for food get bored and do unpleasant things--like write scathing Yelp reviews!) The cooler is half-empty, and there are no bottled waters or Gatorades. Several of the soda dispensers have run out. With the new carinthia Lodge, Mount Snow is clearly trying to keep up with Stratton's excellent food and ample, helpful staff. If that is the case, they have not succeeded. Mount Snow, please fix as I come here several times a year and I would be happy to amend or remove this post! read more

My family went snow tubing at Mount Snow in December of 2019. The tubing was fun, but unfortunately I was double charged for our tickets. I have been trying to resolve this problem and sadly, no one from Mt. Snow has responded to my calls or emails for close to five months now. An older mountain but still a great time in Vermont! I came here the 1st weekend of March with a group of friends for snowboarding/ skiing and overall celebrating to kick off my birthday month! It's only 4 hours-ish from NYC. WORD OF WARNING: This is not a "learning mountain". If you need to learn best to go closer to NYC, like Hunter or CamelBack. Also the trails are older and extremely narrow. Greens are more like Blues. The conditions were better than I thought they were going to be. We had 2 snowboarders and 2 skiers respectively. There was a lot of ice. Big Shout out to Medic Team on Mount Snow. My friend, 1st time snowboarder went right over the edge of a Green Trail into the woods after trying to stop on ice, unclipped and forgot to clip in her leash, aka the rental went right down the mountain side into the ABYSS. Since I wasn't going to let her walk down the 6 miles to the bottom by herself we walked together, me carrying my board and her carrying her wounded EGO. Medic came by and gave us a lift, but not just that, he was on skis and took us down seated in a metal sledge down the mountain on Black. My friend was terrified and I was all about it! It was hardcore amazing! Where to Eat and Party: Nothing here is going to OVERLY HEALTHY. JUST ACCEPT IT. 1900' Burger- Is good after snowboarding all day Cuzzins Bar & Grill- Is great for drinks after hours Station Tap Room- For all my Beer lovers I hear is awesome. Accommodations: We stayed at Snow Lake Lodge, which were simple enough. Even though the actual slopes are 10 mins walking, any of us that know what its like to hall your snowboard uphill in full gear, knows that if there is a shuttle, YOU TAKE IT. Luckily, Mount Snow offers a free shuttle, can't miss it.... it is painted lika COW, appropriately named the MOOver, which runs every 15 mins when the mountain is busy. WORD OF WARNING, you need to be outside in plain sight for the shuttle to stop for you. It'll also take you to the other lodges, in case you make new friends, and will also drop you for night entertainment at the Snowbarn. In the AM there is, VERY light continental breakfast. Best to buy food before you come here if you wanna snack. The Front desk was awesome the Sunday we left. Technically the Check Out Time was 11am, but I asked for the latest possible time so that I could hit the slops in the AM and still have time to come back and shower before the long drive back to the city. Me no Like to be Stinky. They were totally accommodating! They even watched my board while I ran upstairs to shower. Also about the bathroom, if you need a blowdrier, ask the front desk because they are not in the bathrooms. 2 Issues I had: The "free WiFi" is awful and Walt's Pub was pushy and rude. They basically come over every 5 mins to ask when you are going to order something. They put me and my friends off soo much we avoided the area at all costs because we didn't want to continue being made uncomfortable. read more

I understand and share the concerns about mask wearing and social distancing, but today my day pass was taken away by a lift attendant who was very disrespectful, yelling at me that she had warned many times (that was the first lie) when she saw me pulling my mask to wipe my nose. Not happy with that, she also took away the passes of my teenage child and his friend. When I went to complain about it in the office, they first told me that they were going to talk to the lift attendant and call me back. After waiting for 45 minutes, I was told that we wouldn't get our passes back. When I asked the reason for the kids losing their passes they told me that the worker said their masks were down. This was a blatant lie. We drove three hours and did two runs before our passes were stolen. How can it be possible that a shameless lier can ruin a guest's day with total impunity? But there was nothing I could do about it. Not even get a refund! On top of ruining our day, they stole our money. read more

Mt. Snow is a great place to visit in both the winter and the summer. Winter Review: The last time I skied here was four years ago, when I was still a beginner. I remember the skiing being really good, with terrain suitable for all levels. It's one of New England's best kept secrets I believe. I had never heard of it before I went skiing there and have only heard it mentioned once since (Note: I live in Cleveland). It is a beautiful ski area with great views and long runs. The lifts are very efficient. They are clean and modern. At the top of the mountain, there is a little restaurant so you can fuel before heading back down the mountain. There is a resort on site, as well as a big pro shop and a couple of other places to eat. Summer Review: Mt. Snow is a great place to go even in the middle of summer. I was recently in the area and decided to ride the lift up to the top of the mountain to take in the spectacular view (it was incredible). There is only one lift up the mountain during the summer and it's the main one just outside the resort. In the pro shop, you can buy lift tickets for going up. Also in the pro shop, you can decide which way to come down and do the necessary procedures to do so. Your three options for coming down are riding the lift, hiking, or mountain biking. Due to time constraints, we rode the lift back down (it's not as bad as it looks). At the top, you can see as far as New Hampshire and Massachusetts (you can't see New York because you don't go to the very top of the mountain, just below it). It's a spectacular view. The pro shop also sells all the gear you need for mountain biking except the bikes, which I'm not sure if you can rent them or not. My biggest complaint for the summer is there is no way to get any food on site. Overall, if you want a great skiing experience, or are in S. Vermont and want to take in some of the great scenery of the area, pay a visit to Mt. Snow. read more

I took my daughter here for some snow tubing, we are not skiers, or snow boarders by any stretch of the imagination. The first thing was the 45 minutes I spent trying to find a parking spot, fortunately the spot I found was close to the tubing. The staff was polite, and the price was reasonable, but the disorganization at the tube lines was a little ridiculous. They just funnel you into random lines, people cut other people off and it is difficult if you want to ride down with people you are with. When we went to find something to eat you could barely move through the cafe, or you were crammed into a restaurant / dining area shoulder to shoulder with a few hundred people. In all we had fun, but most likely won't return. read more

I went to Mount Snow for a weekend getaway and it was easily the best mountain I've skied on. It was my first time hitting the slopes in Vermont and it totally blew away the usual New Hampshire spots I go to. If you don't own your own equipment then prepare to wait in a line to get rentals. Luckily I own my ski equipment so I was able to pop right up to a ticket window and get a lift pass. Getting out on the slopes was quick and painless. We stuck to mostly blue trails which were abundant, fun to ski, and seemingly endless. The longer the trail the better it is, in my opinion, so I completely loved skiing here. The mountain is a decent size and there are plenty of lifts. It never seemed crowded -- the lift lines moved quickly and there was plenty of open terrain. After we were done skiing, the bar was a good place to relax, grab a bite to eat, have some drinks, and listen to some good/hilarious live music. read more

My son was skiing at Mount Snow 2 days ago on his brand new skis. He got plastic in his eye and skied down the mountain and ran into first aid. When he got finished, he went out and his skis were stolen. He couldn't have been away from his skis more than 20 minutes. I've been skiing at Mt. Snow for years & have usually always enjoyed it. But lately I've had a love-hate relationship with this mountain. Positives: (1) They make a lot of snow when Mother Nature doesn't cooperate; (2) It's a reasonable day trip distance from the Boston area to a big mountain; (3) food prices aren't bad compared to other large resorts; (4) North Face has fun black diamond trails; (5) they offer good discounts thru the Boston ski show & through other avenues. Negatives: (1) LIFTS...at times it's almost impossible to get to the top of a lift without it stopping at least 2-3 times, especially older lifts at Noth Face & Sunbrook! Not sure if it's all the beginners falling or lift mechanics? They also seem to try & "cheap out" on running lifts during the week. For example, on 1/9/19 they only ran Ego Alley all day at the base, claiming all other lifts were on wind hold (note: Canyon Express was open for a millisecond, so we at least got over to North Face, but Canyon should've & could've been open all day. HOWEVER, on 1/10/19 the winds were much stronger yet Bluebird & Canyon we're both open! Makes NO sense, other than more people are expected on a Thurs. vs. Weds.?) Mount Snow spent a lot of $ on Bluebird but it always seems to have either mechanical or weather issues when I've been there. They need to add at least 1 high speed lift at North Face or Sunbrook. (2) Mt. Snow severely oversells their promo days such as Founders & St. Patrick's Day, making for a ridiculously overcrowded & dangerous experience (too many people & collisions on the slope). (3) Rude & obnoxious people abound at this resort, particularly on weekends & promo days...tons of littering, ski & snowboard theft (lock 'em up or split up your skis!), people ram into you in the lodge with no apology, people plop their bags on the limited # of table to try & reserve them (& resort staff make no attempt to remove or enforce their no bags on the tables rule). It's gotten progressively worse, not sure if this is a reflection of our northeast society in general or just the demographic going to Mt. Snow? I don't see the same severity of this bad behavior at other ski resorts in Northern VT & NH. Bottom line, I now only ski here weekdays (or if on a weekend, Sunday is better than Sat.), & will avoid all future promo days so I don't get injured on the slopes or wait in 45 min. lift lines. I still like the terrain & proximity so have adjusted by finding the best times to ski here. read more

This place is nothing like it used to me. Yes, its fine for intermediate and beginner skiiers but experts are relegated to about half a dozen trails over the entire mountain. Like Glades? Go somewhere else... they have 2 short ones. If you like a large terrain park, sure they have Carinthia... they also have about 500 snowboarders all over the mountain who don't have a frigging clue on how steer, control themselves, etc...but who all think they're hot stuff and are arrogant. Generally, the staff have been helpful but today, they had 4 lifts open and we almost got killed by the staff on the only run that went near to the top... the kid "running" the chair must have been too busy talking to someone to slow the chair or notice that I almost fell off one lift, and my friend's 10 year old daughter nearly fell off on another.... not very perceptive at all. Expensive... one of the most expensive... I think Stratton and Killington are the only two higher priced places and they're better resorts overall... Skip this place and go to Bromley (for blue trails and overall a better family experience), Okemo (for a better atmosphere, better people and a better range of ski trails), or a slew of other resorts for a better value and better experience. read more

I have been skiing at this mountain for a decade. They spent money on one new chair, but neglected the other 7. The lifts on North face are a joke. However the real shame on the mountain is a beginner run called Long John. The trail is how people get to the terrain park. I have taken nieces on the run and either they have been knocked over by aggressive skiers/boarders or I have. There is no ski patrol in sight. This has been a problem for the past four years. Well, I was fortunate to have some friends to plan a ski weekend on one of the nicest ski weekend of the year. But what happens when ski conditions are great? Lot of people want to ski/snowboard and the mountain is crowded. i rent skis since I haven't owned a pair of skis since I haven't skied frequently enough in the last couple year. Let me tell you, the rental situation and lines were absolutely horrible. They were out of ski poles by 9am and I didn't want to try and ski without poles so I tried to snowboard. I got the last pair of 10 boots and the board was too small for me. My friend needed to rent a board and they gave him bindings that were broken so he had to go back and wait in line again. We were not out of the rental area until 10:30 and he didn't get back out until 11. I wanted to leave and get a refund back and tell them to also pay for my place that I was staying at because I didn't drive all the way out there to be forced to ski without poles and learn to snowboard. It was absolutely ridiculous. You don't pay good money to sit and wait for everything and you expect them to be able to handle the capacity. The only thing that saved the trip was that I went back at 12 to see if anyone had returned some poles and there was one set left. I switches to skis and I was at least able to enjoy the mountain to some degree at that point. The snow was good, most of the ski lifts are slow except the one quad. I'd rather go to Killington next time though. read more

The runs are fun but not necessarily very challenging. If you're looking for chill time on a mountain Mt. Snow is it. I would go again. The half day tickets are not a good deal so you might as well buy the full day and take a midday break. Rental equipment is a deal so don't stress paying too much to rent equipment; it's not top line or anything but it get's the job done I suppose (although I totally had to adjust my boarding style due to the equipment). All in all it's a no stress good time. Mountain personel are friendly and helpful too. read more

We were at Mt Snow over the Christmas holiday week and it was very busy as expected. What wasn't expected was how poor the snow cover would be. Even after a 22" dump, there were still bare spots. This coupled with many inexperienced skiers on narrow and sometimes bare trails made the skiing less fun. The trails are mostly easy blues. There isn't a lot of variety, most of of them are just straight down the hill. Many of the trails were still closed so maybe those were more interesting. The employees were all very friendly. Not a bad place by any means, but I probably would try another place in VT before coming back here. read more

Hey here is a skiing resort who tries to get skiers in in a low season but has no shame to shut down the whole runs and lifts ( 95% ) of it due to weather condition .... Which I understand safety issue ! But denies and refuses to refund any customer for the ski pass nor the equipment rental when the resort is shut down . Today March 2nd they decided to shut it down after 10 am ( when they only open at 9 am ) .... Their policy is no refund after 10 am !!! Knowing in that extreme weather no one went skiing that early .... There we go, they re legally covered but please no customers !! Good job guys but I won't come back in the future . And thanks to the guest manager who clearly told me he cannot refund me .... Letting me know their policy is written all over ( in small small characters .... And no one reads it ! ) and told me next time come before 10 am to get refund it . This is definitely frustrating when you are only coming on a 3 day ski trip and you have to skip one day .... We loved it! Of course, we had fresh, real powder and a gloriously sunny day with most of the trails to ourselves. The Bluebird was amazing - since there was a chilly wind, it was nice to be covered. Had lunch, it was delicious, especially the soups. A bit pricey, but I'd say worth it. We were starving. Really, really enjoyed our visit - friendly, helpful staff and great skiing. Buy your tickets at Lifttopia, because the ticket prices are a tad steep. read more

BED BUG INFESTATION at LODGE AT MOUNT SNOW. My boyfriend and I stayed at the The Lodge at Mount Snow this past winter after booking directly on Mountsnow.com's website. After spending 1 night at The Lodge at Mount Snow we received 70+! bed bug bites!!!! And the next day after finding the bites, we found actual bed bugs in our hotel room, see pictures. We reported this issue to the hotel owner, Jim DesRochers, and Mount Snow and they both refused to help further investigate this issue or reimburse us for stuff we felt we had to leave there to not bring the bed bugs home. Mount Snow claimed they had no obligation to even though we trusted the room since it was booked directly on mountsnow.com and it seems directly affiliated with their resort and does not state anywhere it is not. In speaking with customer service at mount snow they also stated that they've had bed bug issues at their luxury resort Grand Summit Resort Hotel and they are "no big deal", later they tried to offer us a 2 night stay in the Grand Summit Resort as their proposed compensation! In an effort to gather evidence to get our stuff back we spoke to the experts at Superior Bed Bug Solutions, and they made it clear that this is a situation of neglect by the hotel to take care of a serious bed bug infestation prior to our stay. Such potential, but disappointed by mountain management. Skied there over MLK weekend from 1/13 - 1/14 2018. First time there in 15 years, after skiing there many many times as a kid and in college I brought my family back for the first time, including wife and two girls who are ages 7 & 10. It is important to set the tone for the weekend in that Mountain management had a daunting task ahead of them. After a terrifically cold start to the season they had a 50+ degree day with lots of rain on the Friday before this all-important weekend. High water content snow and lots of melt off. Saturday morning the rain stopped at 8am and by noon on Saturday it was low teens with high winds. Saturday night into Sunday got down to zero at the base, negative temps at the summit. Sunday started at around 2 degrees and warmed up to low teens. What they did wrong - and much of this has been years in the making: 1) Poor snowmaking: + Many of the runs at Sunbrook were completely void of snow. With a mountain that claims to have as much snowmaking capability as they do, they chose to make zero (or near zero) snow on many of this section's runs during the cold weeks that proceeded this warm snap. The warmth & rain of 1/12/18 wasn't their fault, having no base to handle it was. +many of their widest runs only had snow on half. They have chosen to blow snow and cover only sections of runs earlier in the season. No reason to have a beautifully wide snowdance if 1/2 of the run is covered in rocks and ice. Here's a hint guys - on really wide slopes you need pole-mounted sprayers on long extensions, not near-ground based blowers that only cover near the gun. And there remains certain situations (like a wide slope) where the old fashion guns on those long yellow and red hoses are needed. +the amount of snow blown into the parks is a direct decision to not blow snow on these other trails. If you have kids that are park rats, or are yourself then their decision is geared to you. They are not balancing snow making across the mountain. 2) Poor crowd management High speed lift placement is poorly thought out: + The Sunbrook section needs a high-speed lift. They needed one there 15 years ago and i was shocked that the 4-person lift wasn't replaced. No high-speed lift at Sunbrook means the primary face, with its many high-speed lifts is a complete traffic jam. Understood it was MLK weekend - but there are ways to spread out crowds and choosing to NOT develop Sunbrook with a better lift causes this. + No high speed lift on the North Face. Another primary section of the mountain with no high speed lift access. 3) Poor reaction to the rain and ice. + their Grand Slam express chair, like all detachable chairs, iced up and was a huge problem - when i left on Sunday at 3:00pm it hadn't yet carried a single passenger all weekend. But this was their fault. They didn't run it at all on Saturday, and only had people noticeable working on it mid-day on Sunday. Could be that the crew that knows how to de-ice the detachables was going from lift to lift, but the crowds became ridiculous. 4) Poor consideration of gun placement and where your guests are standing/sitting. +There were two guns running most of the day Saturday at the base with high winds pelting the snow into the faces of the people standing in line for the 6-pack. Make snow at the base during off hours and when literally a thousand+ people aren't standing right there. I was staying at the Grans Summit and stepped out that night. Guns were off at the base by that point. You didn't add so much snow to the base in front of the main lodge that you couldn't have waited until 4:30pm to turn on those two guns. So I decided to head over to Sunbrook Sunday afternoon - I'll sit on the ridiculously long lift to not stand in line for 40 minutes. Guess what - the Sunbrook quad was out of service. So I had to take my kids up the brear-trap double chair. Only half of that run had snow on it - evidencing the mindset to only blow snow on portions of runs, and there was some odd zoo-inspired music playing through the speakers. You had a chance to shine - but errors of the immediate weekend, limited balanced snowmaking in the weeks that proceeded, and years of poor decisions on lift placement (SUNBROOK!), caused the problems - not mother-nature. Disappointed. Dan p.s. Not all skis & boards are adult size. Your ski racks only brace skis and boards above ~150cm long. Everything else just falls on the ground - including most poles. read more

Very disappointed. My friends and I went for President's Day weekend so knew it was going to be busy. Thus we used their website to get lift tickets in advance. To my surprise, they didn't offer an option to reserve ski equipment as well. I called to see if they do it over the phone. The person said "No we dont do reservations at all" and I asked if there was any concern about running out of equipment and she brushed it off as if it wasn't an issue at all. Jump forward to us all having just paid for equipment rentals at the booth and were herded into the equipment area. WHILE they were getting us boots, the attendant mentioned they were completely out of poles. We were shocked that no one had thought to mention it to us before we actually PAID for the rental. So we had to get in a long customer service line to get refunds and hear people in front of us yelling at apathetic employees whose only response was to try skiing WITHOUT poles. We ended up wasting about 2 hours leaving the resort and searching for a nearby rental shop that had poles, which was also scarce. The actual skiing ended up fine, but VERY disappointed with the customer service. I would not recommend going here to any of my friends. read more

Mount Snow is a fun, small and somewhat touristy place with good dining and solid skiing. First of all the mountain is well-kept and has ski trails for all skiers from beginners to experts. The instructors are amiable and flexible, however, I would recommend asking for a specific type of instructor that suits your needs when signing up for a lesson. Secondly, the main base lodge has a balance of places to eat from pizza to chili to salads. The lines are a bit lengthy, nevertheless, the food is worth the wait. All of the dining options are moderately priced, and the food that I have eaten thus far has been well worth the price- pizza, Gourmet macaroni and cheese, angus steak chili. Finally, the mountain is flooded with people around Presidents' Day weekend and also around winter break. So if you are planning a vacation around those times, expect to be waiting in long lines for ski lifts and equipment rentals. That's probably the case wherever you go skiing during a holiday weekend. They do a decent job managing the crowds. This was my first time at Mount Snow and I would definitely come back. read more

Been to Mt Snow about 5 times. The last time I was here was St Patrick's Day with $17 lift tickets. Great deal, it was crowded but still fun. Had a live band and cheap Guinness. Overall a great resort, trails are solid, and the terrain park is epic (the best in the east). Not enough glade runs thought, but the moguls are nice. There are trails for all level of skiers, but intermediate blue runs seen to dominate. If you are a beginner go to smaller ski areas first. Stayed overnight once. Don't stay at the hotel at the resort. A couple minutes drive, and you will save a bunch. The town around Mt Snow has some good restaurants but no fast food places. Staying overnight is really expensive. read more

I recently returned to Mt Snow after many years away, and was disappointed. Mt Snow was "the" place throughout my teens and 20s. At that time it was an innovator and a pack leader in terms of continuous improvement - always trying to stay one step ahead of the competition. Aggressive at getting terrain open and keeping it open. Now, unfortunately, it's fallen a little bit behind the times and gotten a little worn around the edges. Perhaps they're still suffering from the American Ski Company hangover and recession, but a few weaknesses jumped out at me: 1) less snow cover and fewer trails open than I anticipated for this time of year, and less than their local competitors (Stratton, Okemo). Odd since snowmaking was supposedly the top thing the new owners addressed. It has sure been cold enough to make snow. 2) they've got alot of old, slow lifts, some in shabby shape. Maybe half the seats on the Sundance lift are torn with green stuffing coming out. Ego Alley is a hidden gem of a trail, hidden because the lift is so slow you're like "really"? "The Bubble" is great, and I like how it's a new riff on/nod to their old bubble summit lift from the glory days 3) Ya know what? Alot of the major main mountain terrain is kinda wonky, the way it runs across the fall line. You notice it more as a boarder as you cant just 'skate' your way through it. 4) I don't 'get' what purpose was served by chopping the Sundance lift into two lifts. One of Mt Snow's advantages over their competitors was the number of direct bottom-to-top lifts. 5) On a holiday weekend, the place seemed to be a ski school mega factory. Their designated areas were packed, also lots of presence out on the slopes. First priority for Mt Snow should be to either upgrade or consolidate their old slow lifts. That's what really struck me anyways. Until then, Okemo and Stratton, it pains me to say, are a better experience. read more

This is the second consecutive year e rented a condo at Mt Snow. The first year we rented a 4 bedroom which was filthy,upon arrival. Appliances are old, silverware greasy, sheets and blankets had holes, bulbs blown out etc. The only reason we returned this year in March was due to a one night free stay. This time we could only rent a 3 bedroom based on availability. The condo was clean but nothing has been upgraded(as with the one a year before) since the 80's. Again, holes in sheets, appliances that were at least 20 years old, limited lighting. I would never rent there again!! You truly can't care about the furnishings and appliances being old if you rent here as the management company does not care about asking the owners to upgrade or replace anything in the condo read more
