I must say that I am rather perplexed by some of these negative reviews. I have now ordered three different times from Mountain archery and all of my experiences have been nothing but positive. My last order had an item that was out of stock and I was promptly notified by phone and provided with options by a gentleman named Andrew. I understand that their inventory may go out of stock at times, but I figure that this is due to their incredibly good prices which must create a rather high demand. If you're having problems, remember that this is not a big box store or sporting good conglomerate; this is an archery shop in Rexburg, Idaho. If you have any problems or sense that something is delayed, pick up the phone like we used to do and I'm sure they'll take care of you as they have done for me. read more

Ordered a pair of in stock size and color hiking/hunting shoes for great price, get an email 3 days later that color and size are actually not in stock, so would I like a different color or refund. Nope would have ordered different color if that's what I wanted. Opted for refund, customer service was great but a pending refund of money is not showing up in my account transactions even after receiving email saying it was refunded. I always get a pending transaction notification from bank within 15 minutes of a refund. Talked to my bank they see nothing coming from Mountain Archery so had to file a dispute. I'd expect money to be refunded as fast as they took it (within minutes) for something said to be in stock that wasn't. Very disappointed in whole experience from not getting what I ordered, to now the hassle of trying to get my money back. read more

Great selection, great prices, fantastic customer service. I purchased a pack from them (at a great price) and, despite the fact that I live a couple of states away and only selected regular/free shipping, had it in my hands two days later. The icing on the cake came the week after I purchased the pack, when I noticed they had a site wide sale fI asked if I could get an adjustment and they happily issued a refund within hours of my request. While I have never been fortunate enough to visit the shop, I have purchased 6 or 7 dozen arrows over the past few years. The online ordering for custom carbon arrows is super easy and very detailed. I get to pick all of my options. Prices are reasonable and build/ship time is pretty short. The arrows always arrive in great shape and the workmanship is outstanding. I live in Utah, and have shot G5 prime for years. I was on the Web Sight and phoned in and spoke with Brodie for a Proper G5 and Draw length. What an amazing experience over the Phone. I ordered some custom Easton arrows. I did not register for an account so I had to contact customer support to get a shipping date. They responded within 12 hours and the product shipped within a week. My local shop has been waiting 3 weeks for the same arrows. Saved my bacon getting ready for a hunt. read more

Ordered a Mystery Ranch pack from them over 2.5 months ago - expected delivery was within a week. After 2 weeks and no pack I contacted them and they advised it would only be a couple of more days. 2 weeks or so later - same story. This has gone on with them with 3 phone calls and 3 e-mails. Well after not calling back as they promised, I called again! This time they said the manufacturer was not making that pack in that color and none were available. Why did they have it on their website if they didn't have it? Now I can't find that pack anywhere (which they were available 2.5 months ago) and it is hunting season. Very unhappy with Mountain Archery and will never order from them again! read more

Hank is the man! I ordered some gloves for my bear hunt that were too small. I called and within days before my hunt they sent me a size that fit before I sent back the wrong size so I could have them before I left for my bear hunt. Ordered a Sitka Fanatic Pack on July 30, 2019. On August 1, 2019 I recieved an email from Walker, the sales manager stating the pack is currently on it's way to Mountain Archery from Sitka and should arrive to them the following week and they would ship it to me ASAP. This email gave me confidence in the company straight away because they took the time to correspond with me to let me know what was going on. However, it all went DOWN HILL from there. On August 9, 2019, I sent an email asking about the shipping status of my pack. Mountain Archery replied the same day that "it looks like I have them arriving on a shipment Monday" (which would've been August 12, 2019). On August 11, 2019 I sent an email asking when I could expect my pack and Mountain Archery was SILENT. I gave then a couple days and without a response I called Mountain Archery and they just said that they haven't received it yet but they would send it next day when they got it. The pack was a Birthday gift I needed by August 20, 2019. I called Mounatin Archery again on August 15, 2019 to see if they had received my pack from Sitka. They said I would have the pack on August 21, 2019 at my door. That day came and went, still no pack. I called Mountain Archery again August 22, 2019 and they claimed the still had NOT received the pack from Sitka but when they did, they would send it next day. I made them very aware of my frustration with this ordeal and they said they would include an apology gift with my order. I called Sitka headquarters as soon as I hung up with Mountain Archery to give them a heads up on the run around. Sitka assured me their dealer division would be checking into the situation. Interestingly enough, the pack finally arrived on August 24, 2019. Shall I thank Sitka for that, I believe so. It took nearly a month to get one Sitka pack shipped and a lot of run-around from Mountain Archery. Although I am relieved to FINALLY have the pack after I looked like a jerk having nothing to give my husband on his birthday. Also, Mountain Archery did NOT include any 'apology gift' they had promised. I would've been fine with even a sticker just to show they may have actually been apologetic but NOPE. So, Mountain Archery will never receive any business from me, my friends or family (all of whom are avid sportsmen) in the future. Shame on you Mountain Archery and I do hope Sitka gave you the "what for" for your unprofessional behavior while promoting a reputable brand such as Sitka. read more

Ordered quite a bit of first lite gear from them back in march. They sent about 1/3 of the order and said the rest would be shipped in June. June came and I got nothing. I called and they sent about 1/3 more of the order after more calls. Said the rest would be in within a few weeks. I called multiple times after this and now its late October and they tell me they can not fill the order. Several times I called and left messages for them and was promised a return phone call and never got one. They as of yesterday got me a refund for the amount still owed but I will not be doing business with them again. Terrible customer service and very little to zero truth in what they say.
