The staff was very friendly and helpful. Catching the keepers in the main ponds was not much of a fishing challenge, but still fun. They clean the fish for you right on the spot and we came home with a couple of meals for all of us. You could easily catch as many as you want, but for price consideration we stopped at 3 a peice. We brought a fly rod and the three of us shared time fishing the trophy pond, that is catch and release. That was also super fun and more of challenge than the keeper ponds. After fishing we walked around the grounds for a bit which was also nice. I highly recommend a visit.

It has a portapotty on site, and little benches for you to sit and fish or just enjoy the view. The possession limit is 2, kids over twelve need a license. There's definitely fish in there, I've caught more than a few myself. But more than anything it's relaxing, and particularly beautiful during the sunset hours.

First (and most importantly), Clark and Bill are great people. They are the kind of guys that I would hang out with even if we weren't hiring them to help us fish. Secondly, as far as fishing and the outdoors, these guys are the real deal! They are extremely knowledgeable and know all the techniques and tricks to make sure that you have a successful fishing outing. This is my favorite campground, far and away, of any of the campgrounds near Ogden. My husband and…read moreI frequently take our camping stuff and bug out up to here, especially when it gets hot. It's mostly shaded and almost every campground is by a river, which drowns out most of the noise from the street nearby. You can easily float the river here, play around with water guns, or hang at your campground and read a book. It's incredibly peaceful. The camp hosts are great - never had an issue with them. If they're not outside when you come in, just head to your site, they'll come to you eventually. They only do cash, so be prepared with that. There's lots of trees and you can easily sleep in a hammock (or hammocks) here. It's easy to find and usually the last one to fill up as it's the last campground near a string of others. The toilets are clean and there's water to use to cook/wash dishes with, etc. I almost don't want to post this because, well, it's just too good to share. So, on second thought, this campsites horrible. You shouldn't come here or stay here. It's just THE WORST! Are you convinced?
